Tiger Bar - Enter through the curtains!

    Tiger Bar

This is one of our new favorite bars in Nashville! This is just a quirky and all around fun bar to…read morebe at. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the menu was fun, and the ambience was so cool and unique! It's sort of a circus theme, which we found very cool. Most of all, we came in with a pretty large group. This bar is definitely more of a small, intimate vibe, so I'm sure bringing in as many people as we did stressed the staff out a bit. But still, our server did so amazingly. I wish I got our servers name so we could commend her! We will definitely be returning- thank you Tiger Bar for an amazing experience!

Sadly, since the change in ownership, it seems to have gone downhill quickly. On our recent visits, they no longer had the ingredients needed to make many of the cocktails, the food has essentially disappeared from the menu--with only popcorn available--and the music was so painfully loud that we felt like we needed earplugs. What was once a unique destination now feels like just another bar on the Gallatin strip, which is really disappointing because the original Tiger Bar had so much character and potential. At this point, I would even suggest considering a name change. Many of the older, glowing reviews reflect the Tiger Bar that existed under the previous ownership and, unfortunately, don't represent the experience today. If it had not been for the kind staff (I counted only 3 which may explain why tables were sticky) I would give zero stars. Giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and kind and seemed to be trying , the bar tender did attempt to offer drink suggestions. They are not the blame for downfall of a once cool bar and vibe.

When I was in town last weekend, a friend told me about this place, and I immediately knew I had to check it out. First, a quick warning: this area is BUSY. I'm talking no parking anywhere nearby, especially on a weekend. Any street parking that might be available during slower times was completely full. I drove around several times, got turned around more than once, and spent a good 15 minutes hunting for a spot. Part of me wanted to give up, but the bigger part of me knew I'd regret it if I did. Thankfully, I pulled into a lot that looked completely full and somehow found the very last space at the back. It was meant to be! After quickly paying for parking through the text-to-pay system (while keeping an eye on the parking attendant making his rounds with a ticket machine), I was finally on my way. Now for the good stuff! The walk to Wanna Spoon was totally worth it. The moment I walked in, I couldn't stop smiling. The space is colorful, fun, and incredibly inviting. I absolutely loved the cereal wall and couldn't wait to snap a photo in front of it. They also had some really cute merchandise, including shirts, cups, and spoons. After browsing for a bit, I ended up buying a shirt because it was just too cute to pass up. When it was time to order, I went with the Rainbow Shake made with vanilla ice cream. Honestly, there were so many flavor combinations that sounded amazing, but this was the one I knew I had to try. The menu is such a fun concept. You can keep it simple with a bowl of cereal, go for ice cream loaded with cereal toppings, or order one of their creative shakes. What a genius idea! The employees were friendly and worked quickly, and my shake was ready in no time. Before leaving, I asked another customer to take a photo of me in front of the cereal wall, and it turned out adorable. Then I took my first sip of the shake, and wow... instant childhood nostalgia. Who knew cereal and ice cream could be such a perfect combination? This place was fun, unique, and completely worth the parking struggle. Now I can't wait to recreate my own cereal shakes at home, and the next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by for another sweet treat!

Staff were super friendly, service was fast. The decorations inside are so cute, especially the cereal wall! The outside patio cannot be beat. I got the Loveland special because I am a huge Suki Waterhouse fan & a lover of a chocolate strawberry. I was hoping it would be a bigger portion, but it was so rich I was content when finished! I do not have a super big sweet tooth, but I would definitely be back. I would love to see some more savory options like Chex Cereal.
