I enrolled my 2 boys into the Brian Blossom program 2 months ago. I have seen great improvements in…read moretheir behaviors, sleep and overall attitude. One of my boys is on the spectrum and we have struggled finding something that can help him with his challenges without giving the idea that the way his is/built is wrong or bad. Dr. Lisa and Dr. Jackie do such a fantastic job reminding my kids (&me) that "there is no such thing as a bad kid". I love going into the office and the monthly Brain blossom day. I am so glad I made the investment in my kids and our family with Dr.Lisa.

I've been coming to see Dr. Lisa for almost 6 months now so this is a very much overdue review. My…read morefirst labor and delivery experience was quite traumatic for me and I had a lot of physical pain afterwards. I didn't even know that chiropractic during pregnancy was a thing until afterwards. When I got pregnant again with my second child, I knew I wanted to find a chiropractor that had expertise working with mamas-to-be. I'm so happy I came across Dr. Lisa and her practice. I've been to several chiropractors before that would only ever perform the same routine adjustment on me, no matter what new pain I might have had that day. With Dr. Lisa, it was a completely different experience. Before I even went into the office, Dr. Lisa first did a consult phone call with me to find out more about what I was looking to get out of going to see her and then walked me through her practice and philosophy. My first in office visit consisted of a 3 part Insight scan so they could gather more data about what my nervous system was saying it needed, ie which parts of my body were inflamed that we should be focusing more on. I then came back a few days later to go over the results of my scan with her and then to get my first adjustment. Dr. Lisa recommended a two part program for me - Phase 1 being to get my body into a better state to prepare for my upcoming L&D experience, and then Phase 2 just being maintenance to sustain that state. With Phase 1, I was going into the office 2-3 times/week and then went down to ~1x/week with Phase 2. Every visit is personalized with how you are feeling that day and what your body is saying it needs, so it's not just the same routine adjustment over and over. The Insight scan is repeated every 12 visits so you can monitor the progress that you are making. There is the option to purchase a bulk package and prepay for all your visits which saves you a good amount of money. With the package I purchased, there was the option for a "Daddy" visit, where my husband came with me to get some hands on training on certain positions or exercises he could help me with either before during the labor experience to ease my discomfort. The package also comes with a home visit after the baby is born, so Dr. Lisa can evaluate your postpartum state as well as the baby to ensure everyone is recovering nicely. I have been such a fan of my overall experience here that I am now trying to convince my husband to start his own sessions as he deals with some chronic pain. Dr. Lisa also has a lot of experience working with children - I never knew how many common childhood disorders were associated with misalignment in the body or nervous system. This office is truly a "family wellness" center and can address all the different needs for each member of your family.

We just switched health care providers and this was one of our options. We have been with Kaiser…read morefor nearly 9 years and it was a difficult choice for us to move. If we could, we would have stayed with Kaiser, but that's not an option b/c the mister's work doesn't offer it. I logged into the health care providers site and there were over 100 doctors to choose from. OY! How the heck do I choose? Thankfully a friend of ours takes her children to BAP and she had 2 names of doctors that she would recommend. Thankfully those 2 doctors were listed in the names that were available to us. There is a rather large parking lot behind the medical building, but it seems that most of the employees park there. I was warned by my friend that sometimes getting a space can be a b!tch. Thankfully our appointment was at 9AM, so there were still a few parking spaces available. When we came out everything was full, and people were waiting for people to leave. *Note to self: Schedule early appointments. The waiting area space is okay. Lots of things for the kids to do which I'm not used to with Kaiser. The lilmiss went straight for the playhouse. Kids were playing with the various tables and the walls were appropriately decorated with children's artwork. There were a few magazines for the parents and plenty of books for the children. Unlike Kaiser we were seen right away. Which is nice. I didn't even get a chance to finish my paperwork. One thing I didn't like were the exam rooms. They seemed very dated, like they needed some TLC. Another thing was the infant scale was located all the out by the entrance. I was asked to remove my daughter's clothes and leave on her diaper and carry her out and around to the scales. Thankfully it wasn't too chilly, but still! The nurse weighed her with her diaper on too which I know was full and added some weight to her reading, inaccuracy. Either I'm too used to Kaiser or I just don't know. Normally we're given a sheet of paper for milestones to expect as well as height and weight written down. We're also given the option to schedule the next appointment, seeing as how it will be in another 2 months. I have my likes and dislikes for BAP, but I'm sure there will be some things that I need to get used to after being in a system like Kaiser for 9 years.

I have not written a review in years but felt compelled to write about my daughter's pediatrician,…read moreDr. Zaglin. Having come from an awful experience at Kaiser, I was looking for a competent, compassionate, and responsive pediatrician. Dr. Zaglin has far exceeded my expectations. The first appointment was the 18 month check up for my daughter. My daughter was very anxious and cried. Dr. Zaglin took the time to ease his way into her good graces and now when I ask if she wants to see Dr. Zaglin she says "Yes he gives stickers!" We have seen Dr. Zaglin three times since then and he has always been very caring towards my daughter. He speaks to her directly and gets her to warm up to him before he begins examining her. He also takes an interest in other non-medical issues like her sleep patterns and language development. At Kaiser they told me that her sleep issues were not their concern and not a health issue. THANK YOU Dr. ZAGLIN and your wonderful team for providing this first time mom with peace of mind that you truly have my child's best interest at heart.

She spent at least 30 minutes going over every detail about my 2 year old and our family history. She was so patient, kind and knowledgeable. My daughter typically is terrified of the doctors office but Dr. Fernandez was able to get her comfortable and calmed her nerves. From the moment we walked in everyone was fantastic and welcoming. My daughter left with a smile on her face and a lollipop and sticker in hand. I am so happy I found Dr.Fernandez and her staff. We found our family pediatrician and she's located only 5 minutes from our home. I will highly recommend her to all my friends and family that have kids. So recommend you check her out. Bonus: First time my daughter left without tears! The RN that pricked my daughter finger was super fast and efficient. I closed my daughters eyes and she was done within seconds. The medical assistant was also super professional and knowledgeable about insurance questions. I think she was the MA and reception. Thank you for giving myself, daughter and even grandma who joined me a great experience.
