This program is sold on big promises about breaking through barriers and reaching your goals -- but my intake call was pure sales pressure with nothing behind it. The second I asked direct, pointed questions about whether the coaching actually fit what I was trying to accomplish, the rep completely lost his composure. Defensive, raising his voice -- over basic pushback on a sales call. Instead of listening or giving me a straight answer, he just kept pushing the coaching package and got emotional when I didn't immediately buy in. It was obvious his job was to close a sale, not to understand my situation or actually help me get anywhere. For a brand that trades on this exact reputation, the professionalism was shockingly poor. If this is the calibre of person representing the program, I can't recommend it to anyone. read more

I've done UPW both virtually and in person in New Jersey in 2024. I also have done some of the free seminars (Tony runs a lot of them throughout the year). I recommend starting with the free seminars and some of his classic books. After UPW virtual in 2023 I signed up for two years of coaching. The first coach I knew right away I wouldn't work well with. It was a gut instinct and it was the tone and vocabulary. Tony teaches to be mindful of all of this. It just wasn't going to work for me. I learned to speak up. I gave pointed responses of why it wouldn't work. They paird me with another coach Emma Miller. Now 1+ years in, doing coaching every 7-10 days, Emma is the best collaborator you would hope for on your team. She keep me accountable. The Tony program is drinking out of a water hose. You have to be very intentional about how you use it. Emma helps me apply it each and every day. I'm growing and learning every day. I'm getting better and better. I'm having and continue to have a remarkable transformation. It's definitely not a quick fix or snap fix, no matter how they try to market you. It's a lot of work. But it's a system that works. There are also so many other systems out there. I've continue to augment my Tony training with so many more books, podcasts, research, work on my own. I highly recommend the program because Tony is a classic. UPW is life changing. Doing the fire walk is a perfect way to show the power of putting yourself in the right state of body, mind and heart. I purchased the program, and it was a very disappointing experience. My initial interaction with the sales representative, Scott out of Boca Raton FL, was particularly frustrating and disappointing. I specifically requested a coach who could relate to someone older in the workforce facing replacement by younger professionals. Instead, I was assigned a coach who was about 20+ years younger than me and just starting her career. I did eventually receive another coach who was very kind, but overall, the program did not meet my expectations. I decided to not continue with the coaching sessions and requested a refund for the sessions I did not use. However, Scott charged me an extra thousand dollars for quitting the program. Do not sign up for this coaching. And if you speak to Scott, ask to speak to someone else. read more

Had to start from square one AGAIN. I asked for a refund they talked me into giving this coach a chance that she was awesome. Well 3 sessions in she quit. I want my money or part of it refunded. That apparently also got me a "free 30 days" of some service that after which they started auto-billing me for. I asked for a refund once I realized I was billed, but they denied it. I was initially satisfied with my Results Coaching. I liked how my coach quickly pulled out any of her variety of techniques to help me work on my private practice. Then, she left, and another coach took over. I didn't really resonate with him; it felt like he more just told me stories of his experiences at Tony's events, and it wasn't worth my time. I called Scott to quit; he said I couldn't get a refund, but I could save the money for some other situation. I decided to resume coaching a few months later with Robert, who was awesome. Robert coached me for a few months and we focused on living a balanced life while I operated a business. The only reason I stopped is because it cost about $300 per hour, and for that price, I felt like I could pretty much coach myself or collaborate with people in my local community to meet goals without the price tag. If you've got $6k to drop, go ahead and try out a year of coaching; I don't entirely regret it. read more

There is a reason there are so many one star reviews! Love Tony, but everything else around Tony is dysfunctional or non existent. He has a staff that will sell and take your money, but that's it. Everything else is AI and never a resolution. Tony lied about having an AI that you can converse with just as you are having a conversation with him. It doesn't exist. False advertising. If you have attended one of Tony's events, there is no new information in forty years. The info is the same as he delivered forty years! The only thing new was Tony AI. So, I spent $1000 to buy the program so I could have the access to Tony AI. And, Tony AI doesn't exist. What a waste of money. When I first contacted them, they said Tony AI was still in development. Now that I know Tony AI doesn't exist, I asked for a refund. The AI told me it's too late because the refund window closed! The window closed while they were still working on Tony AI! Pointless conversing with an AI. It doesn't resolve problems. But, if you want to buy something, you get to talk to a real person and then that's the last time you will talk to a real person. All communications is with an AI. The email responses are identical, email after email after email. Identical wording! No resolution. No solution. Keep moving. Do not stop here. They will gladly take your money and pressure you to buy and then nothing! If there are problems, as you will read from other one star reviews, there is not a real person to talk to. My coach that I signed up to work with is no longer with Tony Robbins, I tried another one to see if it could work and it was not a good fit. And, if I cancel , I will be charged $995 cancellation fee. I have gotten so much out of UPW and my first coach, that I would have expected better from Tony Robbins as an organization . I am a 50 year old woman, and when I said that I don't want to continue , I was told all the reasons why and that I need to push through. While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I don't appreciate someone who doesn't know me thinking that they know what is best for me. I was also told that $995 is not that much money. And, my replacement coach told me to stop saying I'm so sick and I am out of it, when I was sick with a fever of 101 and the flu , and instead say that coughing is releasing toxins. It wouldn't be so offensive if I wasn't a nurse practitioner! Pros- the first coach was a perfect fit, and my career sky rocketed with her . And, UPW transformed my life. And, Tony and Dean seem like kind people who want to make the world a better place Cons- if you decide to cancel , you will be charged a crazy fee . I stumbled across the TR podcast. Great stuff! They advertise the coaching so I thought why not try the free intro call. Amazing call. Person is so good at selling and closing. I needed a change. We all do. So I signed up for the elite coaching. Soon after agreeing to the coaching and sending the money the communication was sparse (note to coaching, you may want to give updates so people know where they stand) so I started looking into it more. I was having buyer's remorse and was considering cancelling (so glad I did not!). I found just enough info to keep me on course. Read between the lines of any negative reviews and you will see a common theme - a lack of commitment and a hope of results with little effort in return. Keep the following in mind and you will find value in coaching: 1. You need to believe in what TR is all about. Dont go in as a skeptic. Make a decision and give in to the process 100% if you are going to do it. I was 50/50 but then researched just enough to put me over the edge. 2. You get out what you put in. Is this a priority for you to change your life? If yes then commit. You get part time results from a part time effort. 3. It is not counselling. It is not an advisor to give you all the answers. It is a collaborative process and my coach steers me to the answers. I have to do alot of work. I have to come with the questions. I have only been receiving coaching for 4 months now. My coach (Charlie Mills! by the way) is always available, always present, always always insightful. It is alot of work. I am commited. I recommend this to anyone. This is a scam to milk you for your money, the coaches and the Reps are all about themselves getting the higher paycheck by pitching you. Tony Robbins maybe great guy, but he isn't running his own business, so the people that works for what he values are slacking. The coaches doesn't care, you are a by product and they promise you all these life changing shifts and when they Don't deliver, they charge you extra if you want to leave and cancel. Please save your money and yourself. You can find better answers for free in books and podcasts and within yourself. I am Writing this review to help the people like me whom seek answers and action plan/steps, but instead got ripped off.....it is very terrible Tony Robbins allow his business to do this, there no money back so once you pay it is gone and no result not because I didn't do what they said, its because the coaches are lost themselves and its just a job to them. I was pressured into spending $5500, I had a coach that quit the company in the middle of my training because Tony Robbins Co. doesn't pay her enough. Then 1 month later I was assigned to another coach (an ex cop ..??) that had no value to add. He would just talk about his relationship with his wife. What a waste of TIME. The money I can make again, but my time I invested in the program and the opportunity cost in focusing on something that hurt me in my time of need was disappointing. Just as many of us are raving fans of Tony Robbins, his coaching program and "coaches" are hugely disappointing. I entered into the coaching program excited for real results. My first coach was a lovely person however I found myself more overwhelmed with a myriad of ideas and goals every time I spoke with her. There was not a clear focus and the program itself felt very underwhelming for the $10,000 fee for the year-long coaching program. I requested to cancel the contract and was shoehorned into a new coach or to apply my credit towards another Tony Robbins event- none of which were in person (only virtual) and the Tony Robbins staff member continued to promote their most expensive and only in person event in Fiji instrad of truly listening to the fact that I indeed wanted to cancel. I reluctantly told him I would give it another shot with a different coach. I could not have been more disappointed with the caliber of her character or the notion that she cared anything about anyone other than her schedule. Example: In her weekly questionnaire, she asked who I would like to gift a coaching session to. I wrote down my husband and gave his contact information. She had me send him a disk profile to find out more about his personality type. I then asked her what she thought about his results so that we could discuss it as one of our topics was how to enhance our marriage and figure out more about each other to grow in our marriage. She abruptly let me know she would not be giving me any of his information and he could sign up for a session with her instead. Wow. In the truest sentiment of giving and helping, she showed her true nature again. The entire program is set up to keep you as a lifelong paying customer constantly seeking another solution instead of teaching the individual to use the tools they already have. This coach was incredibly abrasive and one of the most inflexible people I have encountered. The technology they use to schedule calls along with the fact that they require PDFs to be emailed before every session became a cumbersome and tiring experience instead of an easy process that enhanced your week. With these coaches, you are constantly made to feel like you need to pay for another program or pay for an upgrade because you somehow need that in order to be fulfilled. The only individuals I would find this program beneficial for would be someone who is in complete desperation, not a progressive professional who is already on a track of success seeking their next level. The final coaching session I had which broke the camels back, was a 45 minute session where is the coach spent 24 minutes of the conversation telling me how I should sign up for business mastery for an additional $5500. My rebuttal was, "Isn't that what I am paying you for?" Again, reiterating the fact that these coaches are incentivized to continually sell the client more and more with disregard for the agreement in place which touts personalized coaching in whatever arena the client is interested in. In all honesty, the more valuable approach to any Tony Robbins coaching is to buy one of his books or listen to his old YouTube videos. Don't fall for the trap, your time and money or more valuable than this costly program seeking to keep you spending and made to feel inadequate if you don't spend and seek more. read more

I have to write anonymously because there are personal things in my review but I assure you I am a real person. I became a Christian at age 10 and have literally turned my cheek in a good way to my family everyday the last 45 years. Five years ago my brother was given $700,000 as a college fund for his two children. He spent that money on other things. When he was laid off unexpectedly for two years he and his wife used all of their savings and so my niece had to go to junior college. At the same time, I had just lost my job as a live in caregiver because I blocked an abusive caregiver from entering the home and the family was mad at me. I lived in my car for 6 months instead of asking for help so my neice could go to junior college. Two years later I lived in my car another 6 months so I wouldnt have to ask my family for help. When I was on the phone with a Tony Robbins coach in early Jan. I was sure they would provide empathy. Empathy is the top way I communicate. I do want to say mine was a free call which is why it only lasted 23 minutes. In those 23 minutes my Tony Robbins coach changed my life forever without one ounce of empathy. I don't know how he did it, but in 23 minutes he tore down every excuse I have used the last 29 years, got to the heart of my problem, and literally changed the course of my life. I don't post this to discount other peoples experiences. I post this to say if anyone had a right to stand on excuses it was me. My word, I lived in my car for 6 months while the country was shut down so my neice could go to junior college because my irresponsible brother couldnt keep money in his pocket, money earmarked for the grandkids college fund. Yet my Tony Robbins coach wasn't interested in other people just me. I literally do not know how my coach did it but in those 23 minutes I saw my life completely differently and literally became a different person. Perhaps sign up for a free call when they offer it to see if the coach is a good fit. But in my opinion, if it is not a good fit after one coaching change, you might be the problem in the sense of you might be like me, expecting one thing but getting another. But Iassure you my Tony Robbins coach gave me just what I needed and changed my life forever! I just noticed the tab that says reviews that are not currently recommended. I don't know how yelp decides which posts are on the main page and the hundred plus that are under reviews not currently recommended but it it too bad-there are scores and scores of 5 star reviews, very specific reviews, that would really help people if they were on the main page. I'm sad to say my experience was similar to the woman, Kristin, who wrote earlier this year. I too signed a one year contract, and paid up front. I also have my original coach leave the company, and a second coach assigned. I had no issues with the coaches. However due to other circumstances I decided to end the contract. I reviewed the agreement and followed their instructions, and was well aware of the $495 fee I would be charged. My issue came in when the customer service representative, John B., essentially decided my cancellations warranted 'non-responses'. In my original cancellation letter I cited the facts as I knew them about the remaining sessions I had, the amount paid originally, and the amount I knew I owed for cancellation. I did receive a refund fairly quickly, but no email. And the amount didn't match. When I followed up, asking about the discrepancy, I received a dismissive email suggesting simply 'maybe my session count if off' followed by a chirpy 'Have a great day!'. Annoyed by the dismissiveness, I took the time to respond again, and ask what their records were compared to mine (which I had an email to confirm). I again receive a curt response that I had "received two sessions that wouldn't carry over to the refund". News to me and awfully convenient. Rather than continue this pointless back and forth, I'm cutting my losses (about $300), and sadly I'll also be avoiding any Tony Robbins products or services in the future. As someone who believes in the value of coaching, and as respected the work of Tony Robbins for 20 years this is very disappointing to me. My suggestion if you're looking for a coach is to look elsewhere. (Many of Tony's coaches also have private practices outside of this work.) Maybe Tony's books or videos have helped you, but his Customer Service folks (at least John) don't seem to care that much and can taint the entire experience. read more
