The Parking Spot - Twice as many people in front waiting for the parking spot pick up

This has always been my default parking location when I have a trip with a long flights. Sometimes…read moreI'll catch an Uber but lately the cost of a round trip Uber ride is cheaper than the cost of several days in the parking spot lot. My last trip was a little hairy. I was gone for a week and when I came back, my car wouldn't start. I assumed it was just the battery so I called AAA. In the process, I had to extend my parking time to avoid late fees, so I called up to the front desk and they said they had a jump box and someone could bring it to me. Despite having called AAA already I accepted the offer because it was 1am and I just wanted to go home. Well after a half hour no one from Spot came but AAA came. Unfortunately the young man that came was hot mess. He couldn't figure out how to jump my battery, decided he needed to replace it, couldn't figure out how to get it out and had to call someone else to do it. Mind you, throughout this whole process, no one from spot came and when they did come it was the drive of the transport bus asking how much longer we would be because we were blocking the row. Mind you we were in the last row of the lot for SUV's and it was (at that time) 2:30am. Annoyed doesn't even begin to describe how I was feeling. As if I wanted to be there hanging out in the cold, sleep deprived and waiting for another driver. Definitely not my ideal experience. I did make it out of the lot to meet my Uber at 5am though, so there's that.

The shuttle bus pulled at as we were taking our bags out of the car. The return trip was just as quick & the attendant at the gate offered us ice cold bottles of water. Much appreciated after a long flight. If you fly often, sign up for their email notifications. We just booked them for our next trip the end of September and got a $49 a week special offer. Can't beat that! 2025-56

This is the kind of mall you'd see in a movie. I remember going to this mall in high school and…read morecollege and it was one of the coolest places to be. Fast forward to today and it is still a cool place AND most importantly, it still is open with a bunch of new stores. I think what makes this mall special is the collection of things it has in and around it. The restaurants here are all really good if you need any ideas for dinner. The stores are all good size and there's a movie theater. That's my main reason I have been there a lot recently. It is a huge mall and they're open early for folks just to walk around before stores opening. There really is something for everyone at this mall and I am glad it's still open and continuing to keep improving with new stores opening up.

I wanted specifically to review the exceptional changing room in the food court. I was amazed at…read morehow cool it was. Easy to get the stroller in, a nice secure table and a sink. A curtain to hide without having a door to go through (awkward with a stroller) and a curved glass block wall to let in light. Great. The rest of the mall is nice, clean, easy to get around with lots of store. This place is huge. Dave and Busters is fun. escalators are pretty easy to find (again the stroller). Bathrooms were clean and can accommodate many. Good variety at the food court. Large parking lot surrounding the entire mall with many entrances. Easy access from the highway, dedicated entrance from the I-190.

On the first of every month BCAR debits my monthly payment of $87 and every month it takes sometimes up to 2 weeks to send a receipt via email. NO OTHER COMPANY that I make a payment to takes so long to provide me with a receipt for a payment. To date I still waiting to be emailed a receipt for a payment that was debited on Dec 1st. This is not a one-time situation; this happens consistently month after month.

This review isn't specific to Fernbach, but since there are other reviews on BCAR in general, I…read morewill be adding to it. BCAR focuses in overpriced lots. If you're looking for a monthly place to park while working in Buffalo, beware that the "customer service" you may receive when dealing with a problem or even when dealing with payments and information, BCAR really isn't on top of it. When I called them to tell them someone in the lot had opened their door into my vehicle and left a large dent and just drove away without leaving any information, they told me to call their number. When I did so, got laughed at when I asked about there being cameras to potentially find out who did it so I can find a way to contact them. If you pay between $1200 and $1700+ a year to park in a lot, you should at least try to put up some security cameras, even if it's for the general safety of your customers. The Seneca One lot has had a broken door that has been broken on and off for the past few months. I don't know who is putting the same broken handle on it, and not recognizing that high winds in this area causes the door to slam and impacts the door set up, but it's not very effective. Their solution has been to put up a single sign that says to use the other door which is on the other side of the lot, but only one the one floor, not both. They also decided to just put a cone with no helpful information on the outside. People who park on the ground floor who are forced to park farther away because the one half of the garage has been blocked off for months can go upstairs and have to come back down and walk across the garage again to exit. The only accessible way in and out of this lot is to park on the main floor, if you can get there early enough or have an accessible permit. You must then walk up (or use some other assistive device like a cane, walker, or wheelchair) the entrance and exit area for cars, where it tells you NOT to walk since there's traffic coming in and out. There's an elevator that has been blocked for years now, so don't even consider that an avenue for navigating this ramp if you really need help. I would love to take pictures to add to this, considering how dark and dingy it is, especially on the ground floor, but it feels like a cave with the lack of lighting, constant dripping water, and the decrepit ceiling, so it probably wouldn't be successful. The ceiling is quite literally falling apart, hanging in pieces and dripping water. It is extremely apparent there is not much care for this lot, especially when the possibility of pieces of the building falling onto your vehicle is a problem they don't take seriously.
