It was determined that a $2,600 bite guard was needed to address snoring issues I have had for many years. Due to the cost of the bite guard, Dr. Banda's office approached my insurance company and obtained approval for work to begin. After the work was successfully completed, a claim was filed for payment which my insurance company NOW DENIED. For over 1 year my insurance company found every way possible to not issue payment for work they had already approved. My first visits were with Dr. Somona, who's currently back in school and only working Saturdays. He's deaf, and went to high school close to where I grew up. (I found this out after talking with him during my first appointment.) Dr. Young's currently my dentist, and he does a really good job. Appointments can be difficult to book sometimes as I guess they're super busy. Some of the hygienists work faster than others. I literally had to tell one to please hurry up because she was moving so slow. The desk staff is nice, but took a while to learn my name. They NEVER take you early, and usually run at least 5 minutes (I've sat there up to 15 at times) behind schedule. It's not a common occurrence, but it happens enough that I had to mention it. Office is clean and in good working order, overall a great experience. Typical dentist office hours, so plan to leave work a little early to make your appointment on time. Overall a decent experience.

I've always struggled with severe anxiety at the dentist and have bounced from office to office in search of the 'unicorn' dentist -- and I finally found him: Dr. Young. There's something about his calm, reassuring presence that immediately puts you at ease. Even more impressive, the procedures are completely painless -- I didn't even feel the Novocaine injection. I recently had a root canal done, and it was genuinely pain-free. Dr. Young walks you through every step, takes the time to educate you, and whenever possible, offers multiple treatment options. I need to fill a missing tooth and always said I would never get an implant because the process seemed so painful and intense -- but now, I'm actually considering it, simply because I trust Dr. Young that much. I couldn't recommend him more.

They were able to see me, which is pretty amazing in itself. The lady on the phone asked me several questions... when did it happen, how did it happen, are your swollen, did you cut your lip, are you injured in any other way, etc. She not only was trying to get a correct diagnosis over the phone (to ensure the DR. could see me), she also seemed generally concerned. After all, having a broken tooth is ALWAYS a traumatic event! The minute I walked in the door (not smiling or showing my teeth), they automatically knew who I was! There is something I like when I'm on the phone with someone, tell them I'm on my way... and they actually expect me and greet me by name! As the other reviews say, this office staff cares about every single one of their patients. This is one of the best dental experiences I have ever had! I'm not a person who has "dental apprehension", but Dr. Hartrick completely set me at ease. If you aren't familiar with cosmetic dental work, Dr. Hartick is outstanding! She is VERY concerned about patient pain and takes numerous measures to make sure it is minimized. She took a lot of time to explain the procedures being performed and what to expect. She even mentioned that she's a "perfectionist"! When doing cosmetic dental work, that might be one of the best things you can possible be, right?
