I saw Dr. Williams with minor tooth pain. He found 3 cavities removed old fillings and filled them all. They used an appliance that kept all the shards of old fillings out of my mouth, without having to constantly have me rinse and spit. There was not even pain with his shots to deaden my gums! Best dentist's office I've ever been to. I'm now entering the "Old Man" phase of my life and I have a lot of experience when I say that. So trust me and the well used teeth that I have. I set up an appointment to see Dr. Schaak a LONG time ago. The day came and they had the best dental hygenist I've ever met. Kind, nice, competent, informative. She rocked it. Unfortunately, my teeth are about as good as your average meth addict and I had a cavity. Flash forward a couple weeks and Dr. Shaack took care of it. He works in the office. If I could give six stars for service, care, gentleness, (list every other thing you hope to see from a dentist) - I would. I don't give a lot of 5's and they deserve a 6. In fact, for the first time in more dental work than I'm shamed to say - I didn't use or need to be gassed. That in itself is amazing to me. Across the board all the other folks I met checking it, checking out, paying up, etc. were funny, nice and super engaged. Right now, leave that Dentist who has been working on you for decades, using the same pedal powered equipment, get in line to see them and go. You'll flash your gleaming white smile at me when you do. read more

Well, I frequently buck the trend, but not this time. I can't imagine a better experience, than the one I had today. I had a broken tooth and since we're moving to Wimberley in the Spring, it made sense to locate a dentist there. Using Yelp as my guide, I contact Dr. White's office. They were so apologetic that I couldn't get in that week (I'm in Austin, but of course they don't know that would never happen here anyway...) but they got me in "next" Monday. I arrived a bit early and the receptionist was pleasant and asked me to fill out some forms. I was called back by a darling assistant who checked me in and located said tooth. Dr. White came in right on time, according to my appointment. He was friendly, caring and listened in detail. After looking at my tooth, he pronounced it was just the ceramic veneer of an existing metal crown. It is the furthest tooth in the back of my mouth, not visible and certainly not worth $1,000 if the metal crown was intact. He told me all this (I have to wonder if all dentists would have been so practical) So, they took 1 xray to confirm and viola, the crown is perfectly sound. He simply ground off the sharp segment of ceramic so it was nice and smooth and no longer scarring my cheek interior =) Feeling so excited about my new found wealth, I told him I'd lost my upper bleaching tray and asked if he could make one. Sure, he says, we'll make an impression and you can pick it up tomorrow. I ask if it could be mailed, since I live in Austin for now (which he didn't know) and he says, oh, no, we'll just hustle and get it for you in an hour. Walked back in at the appointed time, and it was ready. Total cost, $136. This is service, complete with smiles and technical skills. Take that, big City! read more

I was a dental assistant for many years and glad to find a great dentist in Wimberley. Dr White has a porcelain crown making machine in his office. No more 2 appointments 4-6 weeks between each other with temporaries! 3d imagine instead of gagging impressions, what a great change in crown making. The machine take a block of material and carves it out while you wait. Each crown only took 1 1\2 hours complete. Incredible! Also, I was so impressed with the wait time in the office. Never did I wait in the reception area more than 5 minutes. Once in the chair Dr White was in within another 5 minutes. I told him how impressed I was with his timing and he told me it was very important to him to be on time. He does not like to waste his time or the patient. Great staff as well, his assistant has been with him for many, many years. Very impressed and very pleased. read more

I cannot say enough how great my dentist Dr Robert White is. My journey to doing partial implant work on my upper and lower teeth that is medically necessary has been tedious work. Dr. White is such a good dentist to work around in getting what we are to accomplish with satisfying end results. His assistant Vanessa has been very helpful for all the visits to making my visits to feeling at ease while under treatment working alongside Dr White. I went for a second opinion on something and was very impressed. The offices are spotless, the staff friendly and help and the doctor himself very knowledgable, very straight forward, very competent. He is popular locally and is heavily booked and a a little expensive for a small town dentist, but he has a top clinic. The other impressive thing is that he can do same day crowns. I LOVE this dental office. Robin and Clara in the front, the girls in the back and Dr. White and Dr. Schaak are AWESOME! I broke a crown, had a rotten tooth underneath, got xrays at an emergency clinic on Saturday and Dr. Schaak was able to see me on Monday, told me he had to extract the tooth. Next day! Done and done! Not only all that, but it was painless for both appointments and now 1 week later? I feel better than I have in a long time! Getting that tooth out was the best thing for me and they facilitated that. I cannot say enough good things about this office. My entire family comes here and we wouldn't change for the world!
