USE SOMEONE ELSE!!! We used them for years, and telling you over 10 plus years. When I came onboard the company, I started to feel that we were getting charges way too much for the service. When we needed to use insurance for an incident we were not even probably covered and had to pay out of pockets. This is where the problem really began. Instead of answering my questions about the prices increases and questioning the policies and helping me understand them, started to strongly feel as if they were just collecting the money and overcharging us on money. They do NOTHING to help us save money and did nothing to get us the best insurance rates possible. We asked Robert for help and said basically nothing he can do so we had to pay. The new receptionist is extremely rude when you call, she gives you major attitude and talks to you as if you are bothering her, basically makes you not want to call them which makes it even worse. They constantly raise the rates on you and just send you paperwork of renewals with higher rates. Even if you have had no incidents and have been a great paying customer. If your business makes more money, they charge you more money. REALLY - didn't understand that answer. If a company makes more money, they have more money to cover their liabilities, why would the insurance be raised. Felt that he never wanted to really explain the policies to us and just wanted the fee. We found another broker to help us with quotes and rates and they worked hard to get us EXCELLENT rates for our business insurance and the auto. On top of the horrible rates and attitude on not helping our business, they charged us almost $800 for four days of coverage and gave us some crap excuse of the enormous fees they charge. Until I threaten to dispute the charge on my credit card. That's when he went into action to itemize the fees, which he never had done before when I tried to ask why is it so much?? He was always vague. ON top of that the finance company also charged us MORE money for the cancellation not being done in a timely fashion. I sent him email after email after email and I was told it will sort out. NOPE had to pay another $300. So, there you have it $1000 for a week of coverage is what you get. Major HIGHWAY robbery if you ask me. So glad we made the switch so my advice to you is USE some else. Happy to PM you our new broker who will work extremely hard to help your business. They only want your money. Yes, you sign documents that are bible thick, but you are also entrusting the broker that he is looking out for you and not trying to screw you over. We are busy trying to run a business. This broker was grandfathered in, and I knew in my gut when I took over that something was off about the fees and not wanting to help us find better rates. My eyes have been opened to the shady contracts and practices. Trust me, go somewhere else. They don't care about finding you the best deals. Instead of our rates all they do is just raise their rates. AVOID calling the receptionist will give you attitude anyways. read more

Absolutely, I am displeased and absolutely agree 100% with A.G. yelp review of Kennedy insurance company due to multiple experiences with new quotes, adjustments on auto insurance and interacting with Mercury insurance whom is the carrier. Mercury rep found it odd why my insurance rate went up upon dropping 2nd vehicle as I have no accidents, moving violations within the past two years. In fact you would think, should go down as car 1 is driven less then 6k, and 2nd is under 2k yearly? No, it went up as their office stated supposedly rate increase is easy way to justify helping themselves on clients trust. Because... who really checks their premium and bother to call actual insurance carrier? Called Mercury Insurance why rates gone up? Response...call Kennedy as they don't know or... meaning they don't want to get involved indirectly since your broker is not looking out for their customers interest is my estimation. IMO treat clients as idiots, and or are simply GREEDY to not due diligence to research. Inquired into a commercial insurance plan late 2016 was quoted by Kennedy rep Kristina quoted ~$1900 and later increased it to over $2200 annually due to question they forgot to ask... Really? I shopped one place, on first contact to sbeck@nisinsurance.com got me Berkshire Hathaway received more coverage, less deductible for $1400.00 annual a substantial savings of $800. Steve Beck is the best and have never met him once, but all that counts is his integrity and saving me money with honesty and professionalism. They got me a quote within one -two days never looked back. I have no affiliation, interests or connection with this brokerage firm or Steve. Kennedy insurance company is not about building clients or establishing long term relationship, but how to make sure YOU will never receive any reduction in premium or discounts or even a fair premium. If you are a client of Robert Kennedy Insurance SF, shop around and almost guaranteed, any other insurance company GEICO, AAA, Berkshire or any carrier will save you $$ money with same or more coverage. I canceled my policy immediately with Robert Kennedy Insurance as saying goes, fool me once, then twice shame on me more, as that sour taste proved any benefit of doubt was waste of money and time. They NEVER opt to take high road, after contacting Jason whom is REALLY a nice person and professional, but owners shroud any good faith they are a reputable company to retain repeat business and word of mouth. Lastly, shop your policy when it comes to insurance and hopefully Kennedy will change their business practice towards clients should come first! read more
