I know first-hand that diners arrived at 5:30 this past weekend and some didn't leave until well after 9. The chef told me that they will take up to 20 diners, seating overflow at a round table in the front parlor. And currently advertised prices for rooms are around $250, yet we and friends were charged $400 a night.

I refused and explained that the room was occupied and he said "I know! Let me in." When I called the front desk to express my concern, they said that they were already aware of the situation, that it was a hotel employee trying to find a spot to sleep, and then hung up on me. It was extremely weird and didn't feel safe. I would encourage finding somewhere else to sleep if you're in the area.

Some negatives: the bar is not great (my margarita was a terrible premade mix and I was charged $16... with a table salt rim) and the breakfast buffet should come included. $18 - $20 was astronomical for what we got. I had nicer, free breakfasts at embassy suites and other budget hotels. Also if you have a conjoining room, you will hear other people. But people were considerate when I was here. The lounge stayed equipped with snacks 24/7. Breakfast was available from 7am. The pictures I looked at showed a jacuzzi, so I was expecting one but all they had was a pool. Pool is spacious and heated. The gym area was quick spacious with number treadmills, bikes, and elipicals available for use. The parking lot was $15 and on the cheaper side for Hilton parking prices which allowed in/out access.

My room was dirty and sticky, and despite being told housekeeping would clean it the next day, they never did. The entire fourth floor reeked of cigarette smoke, even though the hotel claims to be non-smoking. A few days into my stay, I went to the grocery store for some basic necessities. As I returned with my last load--two cases of sparkling water and a bag of snacks, I stepped into the elevator on the first floor. At the same time, an employee walked out, looking down at his phone. As he passed me, he turned his camera toward me and snapped a picture. I immediately stepped out of the elevator, turned the corner, and asked, "Is there a reason you just took a picture of me?" Instead of responding like a professional, he started screaming at me, calling me crazy, and getting in my face. I'm 5'1"--a young woman traveling alone--yet when I stood up for myself, I was met with aggression. Another employee witnessed the whole thing but did nothing. When I turned to him and asked, "Do you think it's okay for him to speak to me like that?" he just stared blankly. The man who took my picture stormed upstairs, to the same floor I was staying on. Turns out, he lives in the hotel with his wife, which was shocking to me. Moments later, he came back down with his wife and got right back in my face, shaking with rage, screaming at me, and spitting as he yelled. His wife glared at me like her blood was boiling At this point, I was terrified. This man, a hotel manager, looked like he was about to hit me. His wife eventually went back upstairs, but he stayed to mock and intimidate me. When I told him I felt unsafe, he laughed in my face and said I wasn't getting a refund. He offered to switch my room, but knowing he had access to every room, I refused. This place is a complete nightmare. The employees are either scared of losing their jobs or simply don't care, and management acts like they can do whatever they want, including living in the building for free. I filed a police report, but nothing was done. No matter how cheap the rates may seem, DO NOT STAY HERE. If you're a woman traveling alone, especially, pay a little more for your safety and peace of mind.

Getting in the shower I discovered some kind of mold around the door of the shower as well as around the hand railing inside the shower. I checked out at 730am and no staff at desk to report my concerns. I called later from the car, was told by the front desk " thanks for sharing your Concerns" and she hung up. I will never stay there again. DO NOT recommend this hotel.
