Even when surgery is unwarranted, they still recommend it. So, I held out without seeing a doctor while suffering from a bum shoulder from falling off a motorcycle. Ugh. Finally, I had to drag my butt in to the doctor. The pain was unbearable. Surprisingly, Dr. Paschal did NOT recommend surgery. He recommended physical therapy. After 8 sessions with the therapist (a different office & different practitioner), I am now 95% better. Hopefully, I will be 100% better in a couple more weeks. Dr. Paschal truly wants to help you. He is not a surgery pusher. He only recommends surgery if it is needed. He is also very good at diagnosing with only a couple of x-rays. He doesn't necessarily need a CAT scan. CAT scans are very bad for you as they are equivalent of a dozen or more X-rays.

Filled out the form online, then got a message saying my records weren't available with no explanation. -Called 2-3 times to talk to someone at front desk - no answer -Called and left a message directly for Dr. Evanson's staff - still no response after 3 weeks (as of today) -The office cancelled an appointment on me (that I had scheduled months before and was driving into Plano from out of town for), and asked to reschedule for a day that I wasn't sure I could do. -When I did move forward with needing to cancel the rescheduled appointment a month later, there was nowhere to cancel the appointment in the portal. It said you had to call to cancel. I called 3 times and nobody ever answered. Ended up having to try to message through the portal to cancel. Never got a response that my appointment was ever successfully canceled (shocking). Please avoid until the office figures out how to actually communicate with their patients.

Office staff were rude and not easy to work with. They wanted us to drop everything the day of the appointment for information or were going to reschedule, when the appointment had been in place for months and we both work. They were hostile. If you aren't a pro athlete, they don't care.

In all my experience there I've never had the sense they overbook as they're usually seeing you very close to appt time and the docs spend a reasonable amount of time with you. This is NOT the case with many specialists around town
