Just wanted to send a long overdue thank you to the OfficeTeam for helping me get a full time job with a Fortune 50 company. After being laid off in 2009 during the recession, I thought, well, I'm screwed. And you know what? I was screwed. I spent the next five years alternating between temp jobs and periods of unemployment. One company even kept me as a temp for almost two years before I realized they were never going to hire me and keep me as a temp forever. In this day and age, you either need connections made out of gold or an advocate in your corner. Most of my connections were going through career transitions of their own, so that option was out. Yes, I had to go through an initial screening process, but I felt that once Lyneath and Melva got to know me, they were extraordinarily supportive and patient - even when I took out my frustrations with the job market out on them occasionally. I never leave reviews but I have had so much good come from this agency. I called Robert Half's Office Team located in Long Beach in May and was offered an interview the next day. I met with Dominique who was very friendly and helpful. She ended up calling me the next day with a job offer. I was excited considering I had just moved to the city and needed employment.
