Instead of getting lawyers involved, I wanted to speak with her for some guidance on how to handle things. She would never return my phone calls. She was not sympathetic. I am currently pregnant and since one of her drivers hit me, I would think she would want to help me. She ignored my calls, she hung up on me mid sentence, yelled at me, and she also ignored me when I asked her for her district managers contact information. (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) I heard her cellphone ringing in the background and she said "I will talk to you later, it's actually one of my customers calling." This is someone who you do not want to have a policy with. If all farmers insurance agents are like this, I would never change my insurance to farmers. She didn't care that I was pregnant and was rear ended. She should be fired.

I saw many responses but the one that stood out to me was this, "State Farm is excellent. They may be a little bit more but you cannot put a price on excellence." I wholeheartedly believe that. Just called in trying to get a quote for HOA insurance for a condo complex under construction. Yvonne Burton answered after I was transferred by a much nicer girl, and flatly told me they can't give me that and to go call somewhere else. Excuse me? She then asked if I've called other offices, and I told her no, considering she's the closest one to my office, I called hers first. She goes, well okay maybe you can call another office. Okaaaay?? I had to ask if State Farm didn't provide this service or just her, considering the attorney preparing our budget said he's received many quotes from State Farm for the policy we're looking for. She says something like, I don't know, maybe you can ask someone else. I called another SF office (Jon Shepherd's office, in case you're looking for a better agent) and they were much more helpful, explained different policies, and offered to send an email with information they need to put a quote together. Looks like it's just this one bad office making State Farm look bad. Don't waste your time.
