My Primary Care Physician had opined that the rotator cuff might be the problem, and that cortisone might help. Within hours of the procedure, the pain was gone! Yesterday, on March 29, 2026, while visiting my wife in her hospital room, I leapt from my chair to prevent (successfully) a table from falling over and caused excruciating pain in that shoulder. My phone call to N.E. Orthopedics today confirmed my suspicion that it was too soon for a follow-up shot, but I was dismayed to hear that their company might not want me to return. Frankly, I was so shocked to learn that information that I merely hung up without seeking an explanation.

I had an appointment that I could not keep and tried numerous times to reschedule. AI Emma was at…read morethe switchboard. My identifying information was taken. Emma stated it could not reschedule my appointment. I asked to speak to a human. Was told there is a ten minute wait. Fine. Emma immediately proceeded to repeat the office is closed (it was 10 AM on a Tuesday). "You can hang up now." I went to the office today to try to reschedule and was informed I have to CALL to do that. I proceeded to describe my experience from the previous day and suggested maybe they should contact IT or the AI provider because the system obviously is not working properly. My suggestion was met with indifference. And she repeated the only way to reschedule was to call. I was simply trying to reschedule but also help. I hope AI Emma doesn't eventually replace the indifferent human with whom I spoke. The confidence in AI Emma's voice when she said, "you can hang up now" was unprecedented. I am leery of what to expect if I follow through with my referral.

I am very happy with Dr. Goldsmith who has given me excellent care for several years. He has the…read moreknowledge, patience, and creativity to care for with people with neurologic impairments. He works *with* me in the care plan. The MA who works with him is also kind and upbeat, making people comfortable before the appointment. It can be difficult to get through to the office, but I know that office staff is always overworked. As are the providers. (As I know from being a former provider there.) ........................................ The missing star is due only to Baystate's focus on the bottom line. The money that goes to the highest tiers of the business keeps providers needing to work with more patients with less time. if the administration took even a small cut in their own pay, decreased some of the middle management and held them to actually do their jobs (I've seen them take advantage of their relative lack of oversight by sitting around in various areas of the hospital) it could be a wonderful health care system.

Dr. William House should retire already being 75! His thoughts and diagnosis are questionable. He…read moredoes not care about his patients.... He is extremely RUDE, and has no regard for the people who really try to manage there health. I get Seizures and was told by him that his diagnosis is the one that goes and I'm not allowed to get a second opinion from any other doctor in his office! Even if they do see me, they will give me the same diagnosis as he did and won't do any further tests! He should not be a doctor, he doesn't care about helping or healing anyone. You stay sick, brings more money to his office, going to several appointments a year, but never a different diagnosis or any kind of treatment. IF YOU WANT A REAL DIAGNOSIS, GO ELSEWHERE, YOUR WASTING YOUR LIFE IN THIS OFFICE!
