Lack of Accountability: Communication from Chris Lekousis, VP of Operations, and his team was vague and inconsistent. We were given conflicting information and left without concrete timelines. The team failed to address critical issues in a timely manner, requiring us to step in to advocate for progress. 3. Background: We had a very long and unpleasant experience working directly with a loan officer at a large bank and Mark was able to get a loan approved when we were denied by the bank. Actually tried to convince me to lock APR in before the rate was predicted to drop so the loan would be closed at a higher rate. Her comment when I pointed this out was that it 'wasn't good to be greedy'. Also pushed and pushed to try to get us to borrow additional funds that we didn't need- brought it up over & over. She tried to talk my wife, who is a teacher, into allowing her to come to a PTA meeting to pitch her services to student's parents. In the end she and her team wasted a tremendous amount of my time & energy. Did you notice that most of the reviews posted here are from her colleagues? My real estate Agent (who rates in the top 5 in the Bay Area) was awesome; we became friends and have stayed in touch. When I shared with him the terrible experience I had he told me that he had stopped referring clients to her because she was CONSISTENTLY AWFUL according to feedback. So why post this review after such a long time? Because I just refinanced my house and expected it to be the nightmare I had been conditioned to expect but low & behold, it was not only a breeze but this new mortgage broker actually helped & guided me, worked to get me an amazing APR and was trustworthy.
