Unfortunately, this is not the case. If you do not believe me then try getting someone to come out and give you a bid for a job. May I suggest flipping a coin to see if the landscaper will come out to bid, show up on time or present you with an acceptable quote for your job. I even had one person do some weed whacking on the front of my home in Mill Villa and never come back to get paid. He did such a lame job that I was debating whether to even pay him. Not so with James from Gibson Landscaping. James is as honest as the day is long. I watched him finish a job on Sunday morning for the pool at Mill Villa. He was so dedicated that he had to bring along his family as they were going to a function after. How many people would show up Sunday morning to finish a job? Not many in Tuolumne County, if you ask me. So get your bid request in as soon as possible because we all know that the "good ones," get swamped every year. I am going to have James bid me on a couple of small jobs and one big one for this winter, spring, season. Why would I get him to come out early? Because I know he will honor his verbal contract.
