I never felt right having my neck moved, etc. I was always worried it would hurt or my head would snap off. Dr. Myers is so knowledgeable and makes you feel so welcome that he puts you right at ease. The entire staff are super calm and friendly, so even if you are not in the best mood walking in, you feel much better walking out. Though Dr. Myers has many patients, he always remembers what issues he has been working on with me, what moves give the best relief for me, and is very supportive in discussing overall wellness issues, options and things to try. To get the body relaxed and in that zen mode, I start out relaxing on a treatment table for a couple minutes to let my back relax, my arms and shoulders to loosen up, and for my mind to calm while listening to soothing music. Everything is super clean and sanitized. Fresh covering on the treatment table for your face between patients. I cannot relax in a dingy environment so having things so clean is not just a "nice to have". Since going to Myers Chiropractic over the last 6 months or so, my back is feeling so much better and the stress and pain is gone from my neck and shoulder areas. We are working on hip pain now. My energy level is much improved. I never have that nervous feeling that some weird doc is going to pop my head off, or injury my neck, or pull something and cause me pain. My son is now 17 and has been so healthy his whole life. I attribute that, in part, to the care he receives from Dr. Kind and Dr. Ballard. He took X-ray and told me he noticed a bubble on my aortic blood line he suggested I go to my general doctor and have further testing he was right on the money as I has a bubble almost 3 times of what it should have been. When I first came in I was suffering from severe pain and would have spells where I couldn't even walk, I would just collapse in pain. I was pregnant and could not get X-rays however Dr. Merrill is very knowledgeable and good at his job and was able to help me manage my pain till I was able to get X-rays later on down the road. I remember being so surprised because I didn't even have to tell Dr. Merrill where my pain was, after some poking and prodding in a quick assessment of my back he was able to tell me what I was feeling and why, which is very impressive to me considering most doctors you have to SPELL IT OUT and play charades for them to even be relatively close to helping you figure out your problem.By the time you have finally gotten them to understand you mine as well just have done some research on the internet, fixed your own problem and saved yourself a trillion dollars. I have been many places in my life where it's like going to the mechanic, you go in with one problem and leave with three!
