People I encountered where not bad, however my cleaning kept getting rescheduled and they offered me an appt 3 months after I was originally scheduled. This really made me feel like they do not care about my care or my time. They did not have much flexibility with me even though I was not the one wanting my appt rescheduled. I understand things change and people sometimes need to be rescheduled if someone is not in the office however, I would have appreciated if they could have worked with me better.

These days everyone's trying to say it's safe with metal and x-rays, but I know I can't put a spoon in a microwave. Next I'm poor and was asking if my Medicaid could cover Invisalign because my teeth are very sensitive in a few little certain areas because of a misalignment other than that my teeth are good. I've only had four cavities back when I was 14 years old I'm 30 now , another lady comes in and starts trying to sell me veneers she wanted to shave my perfectly good teeth down and charge me hundreds to thousands per tooth. These people do not give a shit the whole place was packed out like we're cattle in there. Weirdos and psychos in there. so now I've had my head x-rayed with who knows what consequences and nothing to show for it. And FYI, the government takes those taxes out of my paychecks every two weeks for the Medicaid that I have. so I'm not getting shit free either

I have been "scheduled" to have my teeth looked at/cleaned and even an "emergency" filling appointment that I have NEVER been able to complete. Each time I've had to go in, they ALWAYS have some kind of problem, such as their equipment might be down, or a Provider is 2-3 HOURS behind, and they don't let anyone know, so you're just stuck to wait in their crowded, nasty, awful waiting area for hours on end, never knowing if you'll ever be seen. Each time I've been rescheduled. Today makes the SIXTH TIME I've had to be rescheduled to next year because: "reasons".... One of my kids also had to keep getting rescheduled because of the above reasons, so he's still waiting to get his teeth looked at and cleaned. I was lucky with my other 2 children; at least they got seen and 1 of them was able to have a tooth pulled. Still waiting for them to actually get their teeth CLEANED! The provider that pulled the tooth could use a good attitude adjustment, however! He's rude to the parents and doesn't want to let them help (their special-needs child, who is anxious as hell and doesn't understand what's going on) try to get their child to cooperate with him. I'm just trying to help YOU out, dude! I get that this is the only place people on Medicaid/Medicare can go, but D***! Get an attitude adjustment, front desk people! The women that work the front desk are "professional", I'll give them that, but you can tell they hate their jobs but are stuck with it by how they come off to people. They haven't been downright rude that I've seen, but they are very short with people. Plus they take FOREVER to check you in, and/or check you out/schedule appointments, while scrolling on their personal phones. I don't know what kind of software system they use but apparently it's slow as H***. Do an upgrade, Escambia County! I have also personally witnessed another parent that was EXTREMELY upset at them, cussing them out and screaming because her child needed a tooth pulled, however when it came down to the Provider getting ready to pull it, I guess they asked the child if they were ready to get the tooth pulled, and (of course) the child answered "No", so the Dentist said "Okay, we won't pull it then!" And sent them on their way! I would be pissed too if that's what happened, especially since trying to get appointments here is like asking GOD to come down and perform some miracle. Because they SURE DON'T answer the phones around here either! I can not wait for the day when I no longer have to use Medicaid and I can actually go to a REAL Dental Clinic, that sees people as PEOPLE, and not just "Ugh....here's yet ANOTHER one in line... ~sigh~..." I hate this place. I hate that I have to come here and that my family has to, too. So far the ONLY positive people I've seen there are the Hygienists, and 1 Female Provider. All of the sudden it was an issue, they canceled my appointment and told me to call Medicaid and cancel Medicaid so I could use blue cross and blue shield. They refused and wouldn't let my son have an appointment until my Medicaid was up. Ridiculous. Unprofessional. Unkind. Also don't smoke and then put your hands in peoples mouths.
