I was manually shifting it, it would not down shift when slowing down or stopping, it made a horrendous noise past 35 mph, and I could not put it in drive unless it was moving. J&M transmission (on the Attleboro/Norton line on 123; almost across from D&D) did the job and what a job they did: a full master rebuild. It only cost me $1600. The guy up the street from him wanted $2500 for a remand or $2300 to rebuild mine. The price was great, the service was great, and the people are super nice to deal with. If you know anyone that needs trany work done, send them to see him; it will be worth it.

They told me they would leave the keys in the visor and I could pick it up whenever. I came to pick it up and the two headlights were cracked. The right one was completely smashed open. I called to ask what happened and they said it wasn't them and they didn't know what to tell me. Unfortunately because I drove it off the lot before I realized the issue I don't believe I can do anything. Highly would not recommend going here.

I called A to Z transmission and spoke with Tony. He actually took the time to see if it could be machined, rather than replaced.... which thankfully, it could! They repaired blown head gasket and a lot of other work my truck needed, still waay under the price to replace with a used engine. I have now waited over 3 months to write this review and I can't begin to say how pleased I am with this company! Tony was honest, upfront and very pleasant to talk to the entire time.
