Got aftermarket speakers and amp put in my car. Driver side speaker has blown twice. Took it to another audio place a couple years later just to find out that the amp was not installed with the correct settings. Then you come back and they want $600 to fix it but the other place says they will do it for $150. DO NOT GO HERE! Expensive service that isn't even correct. read more

I bought a used car with tinted front windows as few months ago. I had trouble seeing through the window at night, so I called today to see if they could remove some really dark tinting off my side windows and a strip on my upper windshield. They were so accommodating, and squeezed me in the same day. They were polite, called me by my name, and quoted me a very reasonable price. They were so quick and I only had to wait about 20 minutes. Whenever I need something done to my vehicle, this is my spot!!! For all three of my previous personal vehicles Robert has installed the window tint, spoilers and moonroof cover all of which using the factory parts. For my newest vehicle they completed the tint and I have always been extremely happy. I have never had to return for repairs or modifications. All of the installations have lasted the life of my ownership of the car - One of which I kept for 20 years. Now let's discuss my company vehicle. I have a van which requires a computer docking station along with a monitor. I brought the vehicle and all of the equipment to Roberts with little direction. They had me sit in the vehicle to monitor my points. They then installed a monitor inside my vehicle wall as one would mount a TV on the bedroom wall. This provided me more surface area for my desk space utilization since the stand was not used. Allowed me to install a docking station and they also had foresight to install the monitor at my eye level so I was not bending down to look at the screen. Took my brand new 2020 Lexus to them for window tinting. Hand wash my car and notice after bringing it home a deep scratch around the window. My car is so new I still have temp tags. Owner calls and wants me to come in and look at it. I do. Tells me immediately they aren't responsible. DO NOT take your vehicle there. I noticed 4 men working on one vehicle all wearing chains from pockets and other things that could easily scratch your new car. read more

Great Shop! I have used them for many things over the years. I think starting in the late 80's / Early 90's (Subwoofer). Most recently was a car alarm / remote start in my Honda Ridgeline. Good, Clean install. Friendly albeit can be a bit busy at times. Had a keyfob fail (very unusual) on my recent Viper install. They replaced it immediately with no shenanigans. read more

I do not recommend them for several reasons. I had a CD stuck in the player. I wanted it repaired. I wanted to keep the keep the original player to the car - of which everything worked... radio, cd player and tape player.... I just had a CD stuck in the player and wanted it removed & the player repaired. Over and over I said to keep the original player. I wanted to keep the matching, original appearance in my dash. They did not follow directions. Joe Roberts put another player in the car. The display light is orange. It does not match the vehicle. It is not the original. My display lights that ARE original to the car are green. He threw the original player away and led me to believe for months he was waiting on a part from China to repair my original player. They broke my clock when they opened the dash. They fortunately were able to replace it. They probably put that cost in my charges which were extremely too high. Every time I was there I had to go back because there was a problem. They left tools in my car. They broke my clock. They were dishonest. They did not follow directions. They messed up my wiring and I had no working turn signals... and did not know it. When I finally confronted him (Joe) after waiting for months, in which Joe did not answer my emails? He said he would not give me any money back. He said he must have thrown my player away. This began in October and ended in June. ... or about that... I have all notes. This has been a horrible experience and every time I'm in my car I see the orange light radio. I also have my broken clock and plenty of pictures and notes. Joe Roberts also criticizes customers. Blames customers. He does not take any responsibility for the error he made. The employee (Chad) said they would right this. They never did. I would avoid them at all costs. He will tell you he is "giving" you parts when he is overcharging you 3 times their worth. Beware. He said the part was "new". It is NOT new. Poor phone service. Sitting on the concrete curb outside is not comfortable either... and I was with other customers there also....... I did give him a chance to right this. He refused. If zero stars is an option. I had my F150 windows tinted, sides were good but they covered the front windshield with a clear coating to shield heat and the area around the rear view mirror looked terrible. The tint did not seal and bubbles under, they said it would seal over time....it never did. To beat it all they dented the drivers side door at the top, only dent on the entire vehicle. They must have dropped something and never mentioned it, I picked up the vehicle in the evening and did notice until the following morning. I do not recommend using them for windows tinting, expensive and shoddy work. I thought I was getting the best but sorry I ever went there. read more

First off I've had all my vehicles tinted here and they have always done a stellar job and there's just no place else to consider allowing access to your vehicles. Then after such great care with the tint department, I went upstairs to see Finley in audio sales. I mean this guy is your man to talk to about anything car/boat audio related he has done wonders for my car audio. The sound is so super clean and never once tried to oversell me or belittle my lack of knowledge for the car audio in today's world. In closing I wish that I could give higher than a 5-star rating because both Finley and Roberts Tint and Audio have earned my business through excellent work and 5 star service. So much to say about this place, first off it was the best experience I've had with a knowledgeable staff that made me feel comfortable and confident that the job was gonna be done right.i brought my 2003 Buick century in for a "FULL" audio upgrade, from under the hood to the trunk.i came with all me own stuff amps, speakers, subs, headunit, dsp, etc.im pretty handy so I did some work myself like high output mechman alternator, xs power d3400 battery an sound dampener entire trunk, front doors an rear deck lid.that was far as I can go with that, The guys @ Roberts did the rest...they installed everything i had so clean u couldn't tell until you hear it.it looks so factory except my headunit cause it's a full touch screen with Apple play an android auto.there wired the system perfect adding a big 3, building a amp rack an not to forget a sub box for my JL 12w7ae.man that box was build perfect matching all the specs of a ported box for that sub spec.man I'm so grateful an thankful for the guys at Roberts, I've been wait to install all this since April.my local shop were bs in me an some was trash, I live in Indy an drove alil over 2hours to Louisville to Roberts an will do it again.i so happier with my Buick now, HATS OFF TO ALL THE GUYS AT ROBERTS. My wife and I bought a Mini Cooper to travel in. The electronics fell a bit short for our needs so we did some research in folks that sell and install the electronics we wanted and found Roberts Electronics. We wanted to have a GPS system, a Sirius radio, and a backup camera. We visited Roberts and spoke with Jacob who listed what we wanted and how it was going to work as well as the cost. Jacob reminded us about the cost and how it could go up if we added more items which we understood and appreciated his honesty. And,, from there, the magicians at Roberts worked their magic and gave us more than we expected. Jacob told us that they would need the car for maybe 2 days and we were fine with that. When he called and let us know that they were done we headed to Roberts as fast as we could. Jacob gave a some training and showed us some of his tips for using the newly installed equipment. Stopped by Robert's to change out the speakers in my car, and I will definitely be back for any future car audio needs. First, I must state, I don't know much about car audio equipment, but the staff at Robert's took the time to answer all my questions and gave me plenty of options that would fit my budget. Dishonest!!! Horrible customer service! Can't give a review on the service portion because I didn't get that far. Made an appointment a week ago to have an alarm installed on my Jeep and arrived for my appointment today first thing in the morning, before the place had even opened. Since the office wasn't open yet, I talked to a fellow in the service department and asked him what the normal lead time is for an alarm install. He angrily told me he had no idea and said he was more concerned about everything he had to do that the weekend crew hadn't done. Due to that clear lack of professionalism upon my first interaction with someone at Roberts that day, I called several times throughout the day to make sure the Jeep would be finished on time (I'd been told it would be done by 6:30). Called at 10:30, 12:30 and 3:00, each time being told my Jeep would be done by 6:30. On the 3:00 phone call, I spoke to the owner, Chad, who had quoted the alarm and timeframe to me the previous week. He assured me the Jeep would be done by 6:30. At 4:15, someone from Roberts called and said the Jeep wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. I told them that didn't work because it had to be somewhere else for other work tomorrow. He said he'd call me back. Called me back a few minutes later and said they couldn't get the Jeep done today, as had been promised. Very much had a "don't really care" attitude and offered me a mere $50 off on the installation (a joke), so I asked to talk to the owner. Owner had the same attitude, just said they were busy and, when I asked about the progress, said THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED the work yet. So I'd been lied to all day by Roberts employees- every time I talked to someone who assured me the Jeep would be done at the promised time, all while my Jeep sat untouched, never even being moved from the spot I parked it in this morning. I told him I would take it elsewhere and would be by to pick it up. I got a ride to pick it up and, when I went in to get my keys, they still seemed to not care a bit about their failure and horrible customer service. I understand things happen and they seemed to have bitten off more than they could chew as far as appointments for the day. But to lie to customers is unacceptable. When you make a promise to a customer and continue to reinforce that promise all day (when no work is actually being done) and then suddenly, a couple hours before the customer is supposed pick up their completed vehicle say, "We were just kidding- it won't be done" and offer no legitimate "I'm sorry" gesture, you lose customers. If the owner had sincerely apologized and offered to put me in a rental car (he knew this is my only vehicle) or even apologized and simply offered a SERIOUS discount if I wanted to reschedule, I would have given them another chance. But instead, because of their lack of honesty and refusal to offer any real apology or solution, they lost my business entirely, as well as any potential business I was going to send their way. All the guys in the shop were welcoming and helpful. Very cool group both stereo and window tint. This was a challenging repair on a complicated boat system factory instal that was cobbled by an incompetent marina tech. And he mentioned that the boat would look cool with tinted window. I had an unbelievably pleasant experience with this business. I brought my car in to have the windows tinted. After the tint had been applied I noticed what appeared to be scratches in the tint. They told me they would fix it at no cost with no problem. When they peeled the tint off, they discovered that the actual glass in the car's two side windows was scratched from the factory. It only became visible once a the tint was applied to it. After the car's windows were replaced, these guys put the tint back on it and were not going to charge me anything to fix a problem that was not their fault. I could not allow them to do that, because I haven't dealt with a business that is this honest for a decade. I would absolutely feel comfortable bringing these guys any job that they say they're willing to do. read more
