When we ask about which location the service would be, we were told it was a private service and he couldn't divulge that information. What a moron- I knew it was a private service and I wasn't going to crash it as I live 18 hours away. However, the florists need to know where the flowers are to go and without him telling me which, it has turned into a debacle. The flowers did NOT arrive at the funeral. The 1-800 flower agency said the funeral home wouldn't receive the flowers. The funeral home said the florist didn't have the flowers we'd ordered. And after all the bologna, no one (not e 1-800 service, not the funeral jome, not the local florist) has called to let us know that the ball has been dropped. Why in the world the fella at the funeral home wouldn't even let us know what location the funeral would take place is beyond me. He needs to be educated or terminated so this kind of crap doesn't happen again. If someone at this funeral home would like to contact me, my phone number is 256 5774037. He did not try to upsell us on anything and we never even paid a bill until after my father's funeral. This is unheard of in this industry. I had a presentation that was sent before the service that was to be played and it wasn't. My family also provided pictures for a slid show that wasn't played. I called sommerville several times before the service to make sure that everything would be able to be played and no one returned my calls. This could have been avoided if someone had returned my calls. The service was cold and my grandfather didn't deserve it. I couldn't even watch it all because I couldn't bare it.
