When I arrived, the owner (forgot his name) looked over the tires on the vehicle and said "You only need one tire. If you really want to buy a set, we'll put them on, but you only need one." Most people these days would have happily sold me 4 new tires. Those tires, including the used tire purchased, are still fine 8 months later. What confused me was that I had been told by multiple people that they had received the same or similar service from this shop.
