Great people, massive equipment for large towing needs. Very clean and timely for shorter wait times.

Worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure of working with. They do NOT tell you they have a lot fee of $50/ day. They do not call you before they tow your car or keep in communication with you. We had our camper break down on the thruway, called NYS police and the officer said we would receive a call when towed. The front office was paid to replace our tire, and when we got there to pick the camper up the tire was not replaced when they said it was done the day prior. Crooks through and through. The lot also smells like weed, and the workers smell like weed. read more

Tried to get my car out of their yard and took from 3 pm till 7 pm for someone to answer and get to the place and couldn't even tow the car, had to call a different tow company that got there before this places workers even got there , man was disgusting and rude on the phone using profanity , would never recommend this place not even as a last resort you will be waiting for hours read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have no idea who the person is answering the phones, but they need customer service training. Maybe they were having a bad day who knows. We called for a tow as we are broken down in the middle of the road and before we even finished our sentence he said "NOPE WE DONT HAVE ANY FLAT BEDS." Very loud and abruptly. When we tried to say we don't need a flat bed necessarily, he cut us off AGAIN saying "nope we can't help you. No tows. Go somewhere else" don't worry, we did!!! And we will NEVER use this place. My car was towed here following an accident. I share the same car insurance with my Dad and so they called him to provide verbal release of the vehicle to the collision center. My Dad provided that verbal release, yet I still hadn't heard anything from the collision center for a few days. After calling the collision center, they stated that it still had not been released from Roberts tow. So, I called them and they said I never provided verbal release even though my father had. Further, they had never called me to inform me that I needed to provide verbal release. In an attempt to fix this issue, they then said they would call me when it was on its way to the collision center. Cut to a few days later and my car is still at the tow yard. Moral of the story: This company is just trying to rack up daily charges, deceive their customers to make more money. Avoid this place and find another tow company that is reputable and has strong customer service. read more

This company is subcontracted out with New York State Thruway Authority and would force you to give up your vehicle to them at a ridiculous high rate and if you don't pay they will threaten to take your vehicle to impound. However, there are rules of the thruway that was not followed properly which I was threatened to be arrested by the State Troopers involved if I Didnt give up my keys,truck and trailer. I did in returned contacted the State Troopers headquarters regarding my situation on how the officers and do have a investigation open on the officers conduct,which their job was to only come on scene to keep the peace and not force nor threat me to give up my unit. Now I will do after this company for wrongful doings and violation of the rules of the New York State Thruway. Firend's son has car stolen. Police found the car and called this company to impound it. 4 days later we hear about the recovery and attempt to take what was left of the car. These scumbags demanded a $125 towing fee and $75/day storage fee - NOT NEGOTIABLE. They are nothing more than thieves with a towing truck. Avoid at all costs. read more

My car was towed and ended up at this tow yard- the individual in the front was on the phone and told me to head to the office further down where an older gentleman was doing paperwork. I said that I was looking for my car, he did not look up at me, in fact he ignored me for several minutes, and instead of looking at me or asking how to help he ushered me WITH HIS HAND to go back to the front, like he couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my presence. I felt extremely disrespected after going through a less than ideal ordeal already. This individual was so rude- he has no place providing a service for people if he can't be civil and speak to them. This place doesn't even deserve one star. This was THE WORST experience I have ever had with any business. My car got towed - which doesn't happen to me every day, so I had questions and concerns. When I called them they were extremely rude and sounded annoyed with me. Then I was told that they would not come back to open the gate for me clearly because they wanted to charge me an extra $50 to wait to come back the next day and get my car. So this morning when I went to get my car, I walked in and all four men just stared at me like I had ten heads. Nobody said a word. I said HELLO I am here to get my car, and proceeded to tell them that they were rude and mean and all they said was "we hear this all the time." Someone needs to do something about this. We were stuck in Albany after a traffic accident on the NY Tollway. They towed our rig to their yard, hooked us up with electric so the meat in our refrigerator wouldn't spoil; removed the broken parts; professionally installed replacement parts at a very fair rate. Never charged storage on our rv rig. When we discovered a mistake on the invoice ($30 in our favor), they simply said "call it even." These guys are the best. It feels good to know that when you need help, you've got good, professional, ethical, and caring folks standing by to make a great difference. Thanks very much. read more

DO NOT USE THIS TOWING SERVICE!! These guys are dishonest - they charged me for double the number of miles that actually towed me and for services they didn't provide at all (e.g. winching and cleanup - of which they did none). Avoid them at all cost. read more

These guys are thieves. Had my car towed 3 or 4 blocks and it cost close to $200. I would check out some other places before you go with these guys. Also they did some minor damage to my car. read more
