We purchased a brand new truck here less than three years ago. The sales department is great. They made the process easy and were wonderful to work with. I was born and raised here and had grandparents and parents that purchased from here but this will be our last time ever due to the service department. It often takes us calling 2-3 times to finally get a call back to schedule basic oil changes that are 2 weeks out. Then the truck broke down last week. We called early in the morning, finally at 3:00 I called the general manager and he said to just bring it in. We dropped it off on a Thursday. Friday we had not got any calls or updates so went there at 3:30. We were told they needed to get a part and it would take 6-7 days!!!!!! This is for a 3 year old truck. We had to fight to get a rental and they put my husband in a little car. Today we called to see if it was done since it had been 7 days and were now told it would be done towards the end of next week. This service department is horrible. This is the third time I've had to write a review about Roubideaux Motors, and the issue still hasn't been resolved. I bought my truck from them with a Lifetime Service Contract, but now they refuse to honor it and are telling me to go somewhere else to be serviced. I've provided documentation and made multiple attempts to get this addressed, but the Dealership and Service department continues to ignore the agreement they sold me. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service is unpleasant. If you're considering doing business with Roubideaux Motors, be cautious. I bought a transmission with 3 yr warranty. It failed yr later with under1500 miles in southern Idaho. Called to ask how to deal with warranty, told good to go at chevy dealer.Got a bill for more than the transmission, to fix,no warranty. Had to pay to get pickup back for starnded daughter to get home.Told had to deal with original dealer,robideaux,which i did.After approximately 3 months of run a round bs,got someone to finally act like they were going to fix the problem, Tim.After a few call backs and a week or so,he told me basically to pound sand because it has a branded title,meaning it was wrecked in the past,and it doesnt have factory size tires on it.NO WERE FOUND IN WARRANTY IS EITHER MENTIONED TO VOID.This is as chicken shit way as you can posibly dream up to get out of honoring a bad part.I would think the owner would have more integrity than this,but evidently not.And all tire shops say the little taller tires are LEGAL ANG SAFE,or they would not be able to install.Its a same after spending nearly $180,000 in new vehicle's, and thousands in parts that a person feels they can't trust or buy local.Yes,lots of other businessmen, and working men i know are awaiting to hear the results of this,and will feel as I do. read more

I had my Canyon in because I couldn't remove my key when I turned it off. Brought it in the first time. They condescendingly showed me how to depress the ignition to remove the key, like I've never done it before. I went home and researched the problem on line. Took it back and told them what I'd found. They said I'd need a new ignition switch. Fine, it still warranty so why not. When I picked it up and went out to insert the key, I noticed the ignition switch was all scratched. I went back in and asked to see the old switch which he presented to me. It was brand new with no scratches. I held it in my hand and showed Cameron, the service manager that they indeed had not replaced my ignition but instead had taken my advice and used one of my suggestions to fix it. I got the deer in the headlights look. So they billed GM for warranty work that was never done. Crooks I called GM Regional Manager thinking they'd want to bust these guys but they didn't seem interested in my situation. Maybe that's why the price of vehicles is so high. Never going back to Robideaux or GmC that's for sure. read more

Came in on Black Friday, I had my eye on a 2012 GMC Sierra and bought it. It had a few issues that needed attention but on my way home there was a brake sensor that kept all my brake lights on making it unsafe as well an oil pressure light coming on every 40 miles. I live 200+ miles away. My truck had been sitting at the dealer for a week until I took delivery the following week. I pull over on exit 254 of I-90 and check my oil and there's nothing on the dipstick. Luckily I had someone take me to Sprague 10 miles away and get 2 quarts of oil as I ditch my new to me truck on the side of the road. Purchased a used pickup in late spring and was happy with the price and salesman. That is where it all ended sadly. Had an engine light come on shortly after purchase and went to service to get it checked and was told 4-6 weeks before they could get it in for service - "Just drive it or leave it here until we can get you in." So I drove it and it made the problem worse requiring new O2 sensors, new cats - none of which is covered with warranty, and I had to find someone else to work on it other than the dealership. Went in to cancel the warranty on July 25 and Jesse in finance said no problem etc. Nearly eight weeks later, I find out he forgot to send in my cancellation request. I have been calling about this for over a week and they only returned my call on time. Terrible service after purchase and apathetic attitudes. I would highly recommend finding somewhere else to purchase your next rig. Very disappointing. Bad follow-through, don't return calls, service center was rude and unhelpful. read more

I had great service when I bought my car but their appointment scheduling is an absolute joke. The first 2 times I've made an alto get my oil changed, I showed up and they had no appointment scheduled for me. I just recently made an appointment with Pam, she said they could double book me and that I would have to wait an hour or so but I received a text confirmation this time! Great right? NOPE. Morning of my appointment I get a call from the service department saying they aren't sure why Pam would book that appointment and had to reschedule. Ridiculous! if I could do less than one star I would! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not too mention this is on a vehicle that I paid $98,000 dollars for. Brand new 2024 GMC 3500hd duramax AT4. Vehicle left me stranded with my boat and trailer at the lake. They towed the pickup to Robideaux motors for the warranty work. This was on July 27th. It is now September 13th. Still no pickup. They have all the parts to fix the vehicle for 2 weeks now. They have it torn apart but are not working on it consistently. The service person, Dustin who has been handling my case tells me that they will "fit it in when they can"! It's been at their shop for nearly 2 months and still has no priority to be fixed. Unbelievable! This was a major defect from GM with a bad oil pump and has burned up the turbo as well. This truck has only has 2500 miles!! They have only reached out to me twice during this entire ordeal. I have called and left messages which they never return calls. Also I don't even have a loaner! We have bought three cars from Robideaux Motors and my family still drives all three. The 1st was in 2007. The quality of the cars and the customer service are unparalleled. We come from Seattle to but these! Roger was great, no high pressure sales and was very good with us. The finance dept not so much. Jessica tried to tell us we couldn't cancel our warranty, until my husband told her we read that we had 30 days. Jesse told us we'd have a refund in a week or 2 and still nothing. when I followed up with Jessica on 12/28 with email and left a message she would not return our call or email. Jesse finally did on Jan 4th when he returned back to work, letting us know the check would go out this week. I'm guessing it's because we paid cash and didn't finance. We will never purchase another vehicle from them and will let everyone know our experience. It's just sad how a family business can go down hill due to a finance manage's customer service. DISASTER. I made an on-line reservation for service. I got text confirmation yesterday. But when i showed up this morning, no one had any record of my appointment. The desk guy told me that the dealership was not connected to the on-line reservation system and that the management was aware of the matter. He said he would try to "fit you in". I told the Service manager that i was unhappy with the breakdown in communications. The manager confirmed that the system was broken but had no plans to fix it. I voiced a similar complaint at the office desk and got a similar acknowledgement with no indication that it would be fixed. read more

I have bought vehicles at numerous car lots over the years and Robideaux motors was the worst that I have had. I rarely write a negative review for a business, I can remember doing this twice in my life and this will be the third. It takes a lot to really piss me off and they did this numerous times. I purchased a used lexus from them in July. I live out of town, so approximately 3 hours from CDA. In the deal part of the deal they would fix the door dings with paintless dent repair, fix a hole in the back seat, and detail the vehicle. Also I was told once they get the plates in which was part of the deal they would call me and send them to me. We agreed upon a price, I paid cash for the vehicle and the salesman said when would you like to pick the vehicle up? I said I would work next Friday (which was a week from the day I purchased the vehicle) . They said that works!!! I will give you a call on Friday when it's ready. So I drove to family in the area of Spokane and wait for the call on Friday. It gets to 1 in the afternoon so I call, no one seems to know what I am talking about and they are going to look into it and call me back (this is their typical response, deflect/no accountability). Two hours passed and no call back. So at 3 I call and magically I get to talk to my salesman. He begins to explain that they couldn't get a hold of the dent guy and that he was two weeks out, so that isn't done (is there someone where you live that can do the job and we just pay them) and he just sent it to the detail shop. Of course I was extremely pissed because this was supposed to be done and if there was an issue why wasn't I contacted earlier in the week. In other words they blew it off and were in panic mode this is where the real lying begins. I said I have used a paintless repair guy in the valley, give them the number and they say they will call him (granted this is another time I am going to have to drive to the area to get the car fixed). I call the guy myself and he tells me when he can work me in. I get out there to get my car and of course the car salesman is kissing my ass because he knows I am pissed, but never admits he dropped the ball. So I express my displeasure with him and the guy in the shop that he hands me off to because he doesn't want to take responsibility. So I let the guy in the shop hear about it in a respectful manner and he just looks at me what do you want me to do? As he calls the dent guy I suggested at nearly 5 PM on a Friday of course he isn't going to answer. So as he is just staring at me another individual at the desk steps up and tries to help me. Sir we will call first thing Monday morning and get this set up and we will call you with the appointment. Monday morning rolls around late in the afternoon and no call. So I call Robinouex motors, sir we called them this morning and haven't received a call back. So I call the dent repair guy. He immediately answers and tells me when to come in. I explain the situation and being curious I ask did Robideaux motors call you this morning to set up an appointment? He says no they didn't, but they did call late Friday afternoon (when I was standing there with them) so there is a lie. Also when a friend (that details cars by the way) saw my car for the first time he said did the dealership detail this car? I said yes, he said well they did a crappy job. Fast forward nearly two months later, I get a letter in the mail from WA licensing saying I owe $182 for my plates. This is strange to me because I had been waiting to hear from the dealership with my plates to send to me. So I immediately call the dealership on that Sunday of course there was no one to help me (they are open by the way) . Let me take your number down and the lady in charge of that will call you first thing tomorrow morning. I called the licensing place Monday morning, and they informed me that I have to pay this, because Robideaux doesn't pay anymore. They stopped a month ago. Guess what?!?! It is Monday afternoon and no word from Robideaux motors, imagine that. So I call Robideaux motors again I explain to the girl on the other end what was going on. Of course her response is the lady in charge of that is busy on the phone, can I take your information down so she can call you back? She was surprised by the response of NO, you guys do this all the time. This would be the 4th time you haven't called me back and I am tired of it, and would you believe it, magically the person that can help me is off the phone now, strange I know. So of course they have a long list of excuses as they changed their policy right around the time I bought the car and must of got lost in the changeover, blah blah blah. Of course I had to go to the licensing place and pay out of pocket to get my plates and they would reimburse me if I sent them the receipt or I could wait longer and send them the bill. I ordered 2 3500HD trucks in April. One came in yesterday so I went today to finalize the deal. In the finance office I realized the price was $2,300 higher than the signed order form. I asked and was told the price increased from GM and that it was now the price. They wouldn't budge after I offered all but $371 of the price increase to get the deal done. I walked on this deal because of their shady practice and canceled the other order. My suggestion is to never buy anything from these people. read more

Just purchased a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali and a pre-owned 2015 Toyota RAV4 for my daughter who gets her license this summer. They had both cars and all the paperwork ready for me when I came in.
