Dropped vehicle off Monday I was told it would be finished the following Monday. The vehicle had 2 minor repairs. Well I called the following Monday to see if I could pick up vehicle. I was advised it was not ready and had not even been started. Due to staffing., No communication prior to me calling. After the vehicle being there 30 days I felt lied too numerous times. I told them I needed the vehicle back on a certain day after them having it 2 1/2 weeks it gave them another week 1/2 to get done that I was going out of town and it still wasn't done. I was told on 4 occasions that this vehicle would be done and all I got was excuses of why it was not done. Very poor communication. Will never bring a vehicle back. read more

Super irritated and frustrated. My car got hit and I decided to bring it here to get fixed. I will say that it looks nice again HOWEVER. There are trim pieces on the front and rear doors that I NEVER had even one issue with before my car got hit. I've taken my car in FOUR TIMES NOW, and the trim pieces are still not seated correctly, even after I pointed out where they're sticking up, and had to tell them "hey this isn't attached correctly". The rear trim piece came off driving down the road and was flapping around hitting the paint and glass, so I just pulled it off. I specifically asked today when they called to say it was done, to ask if they had seated the front trim and if the rear trim was attached correctly this time, and I was assured "yes they're seated correctly and fixed". I didn't even have to get in my car to see that it had not been fixed, the front piece is STILL sticking up, the rear piece is not attached correctly, has a gap between it and the window where the other one doesn't, and it is going to come off again. Now on top of having to tell them that what they do for a living wasn't done correctly just by looking at the other side that they never touched, I've been lied to. I won't be going back again, I'll look it up online and fix it myself, or take it to a shop that actually knows what it's doing, rather than waste additional time and gas money back and forth. read more

Our car has less than 5k miles on it, and on a recent extended trip motel parking lots took their toll on the drivers side of the car. Just cosmetic stuff, paint transfer from doors and a long shallow scratch (probably from a luggage cart). But, new car, so didn't want to risk DIY before checking to see what could be done professionally. Dropped by Scott Shawver's and in just a few minutes a very friendly estimator took a look at the damage. She even got some polish and did a quick test on part of the scratch to see if it would help (it did). But, the door scuff actually took off some paint. So, this would require more work than it was worth to fix (it was a small scuff, maybe 1.5 inch in diameter). The estimator gave me verbal estimate, but recommended against it. And instead, recommended seeing what I could do with some buffing and a bit of touch-up paint. You can't beat that kind of customer service, and if I ever need serious or minor body work this is the first place I'll go. read more

although the finished job was done to perfection, the timeline for getting it done took almost two months, this was a large job and they kept putting me back in the que so as to complete easy jobs, promises made but not kept!!! it wasnt until i started hounding them that they were able to finish the job in less than two weeks. also they caused a fault and sent in to ford motor after the completed job and ford took one month to fix the problem that scott shafer caused, I will not be recommending this company to my friend read more

They did a good job and were on schedule. I had to initiate some of the communication at first but overall we were very happy.

Their customer service and communication used to be incredible until today. We had a friend's vehicle given to them that I had accidentally bumped into which put a small indent into the bumper. Apparently, they replaced the entire bumper and did not communicate with me what the cost was going to be so that I could budget. They did the repairs WITHOUT my authorization for payment or telling me what the estimate was going to be AND then expected me to pay $1,500.00 on demand to release the vehicle to our friend. According to one of the representatives today, they had the repairs planned for several months... but there was NO call or notice to me of how much it would be or an estimate. I called Dana several times to find out the status of the estimate and each time he said he didn't know what it would be yet because he has been so busy. I feel taken advantage of and manipulated. This is not how business is done. We have brought all of our vehicles to them in the past, WE WILL NEVER BRING OUR VEHICLES BACK TO THEM EVER. I'm so disappointed in this company. read more

We got our Nissan Versa SL hit by a truck while parked in Airway Heights, which essentially removed the front bumper and damaged both sides. After waiting over 48 hours for the driver's insurance to do something, a sharp lady at Geico recommended Shawvers to fix the car, feeling they could get the repair started right away. They not only did a great job on the repair, but worked with Geico on the many details and Enterprise for a loaner car. Most of all, they took great care to make sure the repair work was properly done. And on top of that, when the car was returned, it looked like it just came out a detailing shop! I actually felt bad that i did not ever get the car that clean. I am very impressed by Shawver's, the care they took with our car, and the personal service we got from Dana and others. After 34-years of ownership of a 1983 BMW 528e with 350,000 miles on the clock, I thought that I would freshen up the old girl. The job required some front end sheet metal work and paint. Unfortunately, I found that the car was too old to inspire any interest from the local body shops. I was told that due to the age of the car, parts were very scarce and that it was more profitable for them to just stick with the quick turnaround insurance jobs. All I have to say is amazing customer service! So I got in a car accident and had to park my car on a family members curb.Not 2 days in there was a notice to move my vehicle in 2 days. I had it there for two days !!! with a broke spindle and no tire. So this was going to be a problem already. On top of this my car has a smart key so no way to get into the car with a dead battery. After speaking to marnie over the phone I felt some relief because of her caring nature. But wow I was blown away when Joe showed up he was the tow driver. He spent an hour and a half attempting to get in my vehicle. He did not give up!he ended up pulling a rabbit out of a hat and popped my hood. I asked him if he was amazing at claw machines lol. He jumped my baby and got it safely to the auto shop. They did not over charge me and gave me the best customer service ever. He had no frustration and kept a positive attitude!!
