Had the most incredible fun trying a Tandem bike for the first time, if you want to crack up and go home knowing you did something different today, grab a tandem bike, Segway, or motorized car looking thing and good luck!! We managed to not fall but it's not the easiest oh coordination! Prices aren't super cheap but not unaffordable especially if you're renting something for more than 1 person. Rented a golf cart over the holiday weekend. Having never been over to the island before, it would have been nice to have been informed that the traffic would be crazy and parking very very limited beachside. One of the managers there was not very polite. He told us to move our cars instead of swapping out with the cart and added rather rudely "good luck finding a spot, it's the island." We did get in a few hours of driving around but lost quite a few in the morning. read more

We rented two scooters for 24 hours. They're rather old and heavy models, but upon leaving they seemed functional. Then, we noticed one of the speedometers were broken. Then, we had trouble starting up one of the scooters (eventually got it going after manually pushing it while giving it gas). THEN, the same thing happened to the other scooter... THEN, when we went for our final cruise before returning them, one of them died out in the middle of use. Thankfully we were pretty close to Robin Hood Rentals when it happened. They gave us half of our money back, but I wouldn't recommend using them unless they honestly just get new scooters. I often rent scooters on vacation elsewhere and these were the oldest and least pleasant I've experienced--and the most expensive. read more

The golf cart that came with our house rental died close to this business. I went inside to ask for help. the 3 gentlemen could not have been any nicer. not only did they plug in our cart that wasn't even theirs, they gave us a ride home because we had groceries that would have spoiled....AND we had purchased a giant inflatable rubber duck float for our granddaughter and they even make sure that Ducky had a ride too!! we went back the next day and rented the small go carts from them. again, they were wonderful and let us keep them longer than usual as they weren't that busy. BEST customer service ever even when they knew we had not rented the golf cart from them. highly recommend these helpful dudes!! read more

We rented a 4 person golf cart. They knew it was defective and rented to us anyway. The ride was wobbly and the steering wheel was difficult to control. 2 adults could not sit in the back because the weight made driving it much more difficult. I would give this place less stars if that was possible, me and my brother got pulled over on our mopeds because the license plates didn't match the vehicle so they thought we stole the bikes. They had us sitting there for more than 45 minutes. Then we got fined around $100 for not wearing eye goggles which robinhood rentals never made clear was a thing. Then they gave us a ticket of around $250 to give to robinhood rentals, but now we are having to pay for both fines. They also gave us a moped with 0 gas in it so we had to walk back to the place and get a gas can for it. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM THEY ARE VERY SHADY EVEN THOUGH THEY SEEM LEGIT. read more

We rented a scooter car for a full day here for $99. It was so much fun. I'm sure these goofy little cars annoy the locals but my 4-year old and I had a ton of fun cruising around and making pit stops at Rod and Reel Pier and the local park. We even at Poppos Tacos in our car. The guy working the front desk was super nice and easy to deal with. The older fellow who showed me how to use the car was pretty rude and grumpy but for some reason many of the old timer AMI residents that just comes with the territory. We were given a crappy scooter, on return we were given a call thirty minutes later which they claimed we had broken the scooter. Okay? When we came in to talk about this (a little tipsy from being at the martini bar) they called the cops on us instead of having any type of costumer service. At this point, yes, we would have paid a fine to be done with it. Really, I couldn't be bothered, but when we asked for an itemized receipt of what we were being charged for, the poor little man at the front desk called the cops again. Good thing I knew I was not in the fault, as I know thy were trying to harass us being women, but c'mon calm down. Listen to what we are asking for instead of getting on the defensive. They also kept changing the story on what scooter was broken. read more

I paid for two-24hr scooter rentals at 10am on Dec 31st. When I returned them at 4pm on Dec 31st, I asked if it was possible to get $20 back on each since I was not keeping them till 10 am Jan 1st. Your rep with the dred locs said, "I can't give a CASH refund, let me call my manager to see what I CAN DO FOR YOU." Being in retail sales and service my entire career, I was pleased to hear this and understood that he was going to TRY TO ACCOMMODATE ME AND MY SITUATION. Instead when he walked into the store he changed his story and said, "I CAN'T GIVE ANY REFUNDS" so I said ok, well what about a credit towards store merchandise? At this point I am irritated because I understood that he was going to TRY TO ACCOMMODATE ME AND MY SITUATION. Now he didn't want to do anything. So I repeated to him what he told me outside and he said yeah that's what I said, but Then he pointed to your small handmade sign that says no refunds exchanges only. So I said well, a credit toward merchandise is technically an exchange and you didn't even call your manager like you said you would outside. Now, at this point I am frustrated and angry. He says "man I don't care, I put in my 2 weeks notice" seriously, WTF! So now I am yelling at him, and said you work HERE for the next two weeks, so stop changing your story and call ur manager like you said you would to handle this situation or call them and tell them you are out and to come down here and handle their business and leave, nobody is stopping you, I can wait. He then says man... you signed a contract and it's on you if you want to return early. Then picks up the phone pretends to dial, waits 2 seconds then says they aren't picking up. Then he says "at this point I can call the police" , now I am screaming at this guy asking what the reason would be to call the police? He says man.... because you are yelling at me. I'm SO NOT SORRY FOR YELLING AT THIS MASSIVE MORONIC IDIOT WHO CHANGED HIS STORY MULTIPLE TIMES AND HANDLED THIS SITUATION POORLY. All he had to say when I asked him about the $20 per scooter back was, sorry I can't do anything at all about that, it's store policy. Instead of making me believe that he could do something in the beginning then backpedaling. I will be posting my grievance EVERYWHERE. There was 6 of us renting from your outfit yesterday. We are happy to take our business to a different shop the next time we visit our grandma. BTW ur 2 guys working there reek of marijuana and put signs in the door saying, be back in 5mins so they can smoke weed and head to the beach and surf for 45mins. It would be karmic for your business to get shut down for illegal consumption, and illegal substances in your facility. read more

We rented bikes from here on vacation last year. Robin Hood is conveniently located on the main road in Siesta Key. The rental of three bikes was incredibly cheap and I would definitely do it again. The bikes were pretty old and we actually had to go back to exchange one because the pedal was broken so that was a little annoying. Fortunately we hadn't gone too far. The bikes do not have gears so please be aware of this. Bikes are also not the best for riding on sand as it's just a regular tire. The bikes were perfect though for riding around Siesta Key and we did venture onto the beach a little. They will give you a basket and locks if you intend to keep your bikes overnight or for several days. Inside the shop there is also some souvenirs. Person running the shop when we were there was a little, interesting, I will say and just leave it at that. When we return the bike shop was open but no one was to be found so I actually just left the keys and information on the desk. There is other stuff available to rent including small cars from what I saw. I definitely plan to rent bikes again when I return to Siesta Key. read more

TERRIBLE!! If I could give this place no stars I would! Their service was very poor. Tyler, the guy who rented our kayaks, made my daughters and I walk about a mile to a beach from his rental shop and told us to "call him when we get there" so he could pull up in his AC truck. When we got there he told us to be free on our kayaks with no direction or instructions at all. My daughter fell out of the kayak into a current and did know what to do until somebody on a boat rescued us. We were only out maybe 30minutes before I called Tyler to pick us up. He promised a refund or an exchange for our kayaks and said he'd call us the next day. He lied. I called the next day and he said his boss wasn't feeling well and would call us that same day. He didn't! I paid over $100 for a terrible experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more
