Cooper's a thirteen-year-old mini-Aussie with anxiety, and Dr. Math and the rest of the staff (Sierra, Madi, Sheridan, and Caroline specifically) always make us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Math is the BEST vet I have ever had. She always makes sure to be thorough without sounding condescending, and you can tell she really cares not only for the pets and their health but also for her clients. I have never had a bad experience taking Cooper to see Dr. Math, and I'm so grateful we have her to help us through the next chapter of his aging life. A truckee local, took my dog for a mediocre accident a few months ago for veterinary advice. The…read moredoctor was very nice but suggested a very expensive procedure. I questioned the recommended plan and she was somewhat pushy and made it seem like it was the only option. I then stated I have a medical degree and questioned the process. The vet soon changed their tone and opinion on how to proceed to something completely different and 1/4th the price! A few months go by and I bring my dog back for another accident. The head female vet tech was VERY rude and demanding the best process to move forward. She stated in my dog's records, I "refused" suggested treatment previously and this was the only route forward. She was by far the most unprofessional person demanding she knows best only because she didn't know she was talking to another medical professional that can call out her BS! She should be fired! These two initial diagnoses were correct but suggest the most expensive treatment because they think you don't know any better and money hungry! Always ask questions, it's okay to second guess medical treatment and ask for alternative treatments.

We expected a 2-3hour wait but they were able to see her in about an hour . The dr's technician was thorough and kind and when Dr. Buckton arrived he took the time to explain her possible condition and answered our questions about cost of a conservative treatment or aggressive treatment. We chose the conservative antibiotic treatment and by the end of the next day the blood in urine had cleared completely. The only issue we have is his office is too far away to be able to use for all of Bailey's needs! Thank you to the whole office!

The first thing that struck us was how friendly and professional the staf were - they are awesome. Erin is young enough to have benefitted from the latest training yet experienced enough to know what to expect with our dogs. She is very professional, personable, and both Roo and Sidney were at ease with her. Our mini wiener needed a number of teeth worked on and we price shopped a number of vets and Erin's estimate was in the lower-middle of what other vets estimated, but more importantly Sidney did well, healed up quick, and what we actually paid was about in the middle of the estimate, which we felt reflected a good value for the work performed.
