Jessica is a gift to your pets and to yourselves. I always appreciated her care and concern for my dogs before she went mobile. She now treats our dog and two cats. All three of them received injections and nail trims, among other things. We've never been able to trim one of our cat's nails due to her violent resistance. And our 57 pound dog runs if we even touch his paws! Jessica calmly succeeded in doing the impossible!!! Not one of our animals ran away when she arrived and they each remained in the room with us throughout her entire visit. In addition to her pet whispering talent, she patiently took the time to address and answer every question and concern that I had written down before she arrived. And to top it all off, she has followed up via email with further advice for treating our cat with probable feline asthma. My skittish cats will not allow me to pick them up yet (recent rescues); putting them in a cat carrier and taking them to the vet isn't an option. Dr. Christiansen instructed me to isolate the cats in a room so that capturing them would be minimally traumatizing. At the end of one cat's treatment he licked her hand. Dr. Christiansen came to our house to look after our elderly cat who is not doing well, and for whom another visit to the vet would have been just too stressful. She arrived right on time and was about the same cost as our regular vet - very reasonably priced. She is warm and friendly and was very patient and clear in explaining what our options were and providing us with clear instructions on how to care for our kitty while we wait until some blood work comes back. She clearly loves animals and she was very gentle and kind (with both the cat and the humans). This was so much better than forcing the cat in the carrier, sitting in a waiting room with barking dogs and trying to tune out the sad meows on the way to and from the clinic. Our first visit by Dr. Jessica to treat our 11 year old cat (our kid!). We are so relieved to have found her and to see pretty immediately that our JoJo was/is in the hands of an expert. All the buzzwords: capable, friendly, WARM, caring, sensitive, et al., fit her well. So easy to have Dr. Jessica in our home and just feel better knowing the Kid is getting the attention he needs and deserves. (He's been yakking up his food often of late). When anyone meets Lucy, they always say how she's the sweetest thing....And I'm not just saying that because she's MINE (well, maybe a tad bit) but in all honesty, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. When Dr Jessica Christiansen arrived at home to give Lucy a check up appt, she had a baggy of dog treats in her Dr sachel. I told Dr Jessica, Lucy would never take any treats from anyone (except me) either at the previous dog vets office or people at the doggy park. But Lucy proved me wrong, Lucy ate any little treat Dr Jessica gave her (Ok, Lucy....make me out the bad guy!) So that meant, Lucy felt comfortable with her new Vet. Unfortunately, Lucy had a bad right ear infection. Was promptly given gel-type antibiotics to her ear. Within a few days, she was fine. She also got her vaccinations she was due, plus a Benedryl Injection prior, that helped her rest well that evening. I'm extremely happy with Dr. Jessica, and being she's a mobile Vet, she comes to you. Typically after a visit to the Vets office, Lucy would get very anxious. Now she has Dr. Jessica, who she loves, and loves her treats. Lol. I find Dr. Jessica Christiansen a very thorough, very knowledgeable, soft spoken, caring veterinarian. We have an older laborador retriever and for a while have been considering a mobile vet service as he gets very stressed out going to the vet. After finding this service online and reading yelp reviews we decided to give Dr Christiansen a try when our dog started having bouts of lethargy and being uninterested in food. I called on a Friday afternoon and although she doesn't typically work weekends she agreed to come see us first thing Saturday morning. She was wonderful and everything I hoped for in a mobile service. She was able to explain some possible causes for his issues and articulate clearly what we should take as next steps. Dr. Jessica was recommended to me from another Vet with 5 stars which in itself speaks volumes. We purchased a full breed Bengal and needed to have her seen within 3 days of our purchase. Dr. Jessica was able to squeeze us in and gave us a VIP treatment ever since. We really needed to have a mobile vet since I don't drive. I have no idea what the price is compared to other vets but the bills have all seems reasonable and is definitely worth any price difference to me not to have to traumatize my cat by putting her in a car to transport her to a veterinarian's clinic. We're so happy we can rely on her quick, thorough, compassionate and and effective service for our 18yr. young cat. Best phone call we've ever made. After a stressful emergency room visit at night, we called Dr. Jessica to figure out the cause and treatment . Despite her busy schedule and the pouring rain she came as soon as she could, and took her time to evaluate and discuss the case and possible treatment, calmly and efficiently. Treated what was giving immediate relief and took lab samples for treatment of the cause. Next day after results arrived, she came back with the antibiotics, and prescribed the long term medication for the other problem the lab result revealed. My cherished vet no longer does house calls and I have a feisty 12-year-old Sphynx who totally freaks out when I bring her to the vet. We just had the best vet experience ever. Our Australian Cattle dog is an extremely skittish girl who can be vicious when approached by strangers.
