Truly a fantastic winery for a tasting experience, especially if you are trying to be spontaneous. This was one of the very few wineries in the area where a reservation ahead of time was not mandatory over the weekend. It has calm presence with breathtaking views anywhere you sit. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable about the wines. All of these combined make this place my favorite winery in Sonoma County.

This wine vineyard was more low key, affordable, and informal than some of the others we went to. We enjoyed the outdoor patio area and the brief history of this winery that was shared about the migrant worker who opened his own vineyard. The vineyard mostly provides wine tastings and not really a formal vineyard tour. We opted for the Private Release Tasting, which had some nice wines.

Server (one of the grandson) is very knowledgable on the product he was serving and gives out a little bit of the history how and when it was made. He also gives information on their new wine. The place itself has a good ambiance. Yes it maybe hot in San Rosa on somedays but the open area in the back makes it cool since it gives out fresh air. They serve charcutierie board depending on what or get or how many people on the party. But on the day we went there, the grandson gave us the box crackers and un-open cheese which I don't mind, which he also explained that it is more cleaner and sanitary in a way since some of their customers dont want it open without them seeing it being made it front of them. I bought the wine tasting at Groupon which is cheaper.

    Great wine!

What a great winery! Jimmy was so amazing and patient with us and our endless questions. We did the Cabernet tasting and truly enjoyed each pour. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. It was the perfect place to start our Napa and Sonoma adventure!

We found this gem - first time in Sonoma. Jimmy was a great host. Very knowledgeable about wine and super cool guy. The family story is interesting and I like going to a smaller winery better with personal service and attention. Would definitely recommend and will come here again if we are in the area. We bought two bottles to bring back home to NC with us. A sparkling and a Sauvignon Blanc.

Four tastings to choose from as of our 3/6/24 visit: $40 Estate Release, $45 Private Release, $45 Sweet & Bubbly, and $50 Reserve Library Wines. Each tasting is 4-5 pours (see my TIP below). This is a long overdue review, but well deserving of the 5 stars! We've visited Robledo on several occasions and have always had the best wine tasting experiences. So much so, that we had joined their wine club, and were members for several years. Even now, they still treat us like members whenever we stop in. Robledo is a family-owned winery which carries a diverse selection of premium white and red wines from Napa, Sonoma and Lake Counties. For us, it's as if the winemaker asked us what we like in a wine, and then made them specifically for our palates. There's not an undrinkable wine in the bunch (pun intended), and I think you can find something for everyone's palate. They also sell cheese, cold cuts, and crackers. The cheese is from a local vendor, and they're awesome! We usually take a couple blocks of cheese with us to enjoy throughout our visit to wine country. Inside the large, rustic barn, is the tasting room, barrel room, and an amazing collection of photos and memorabilia related to the family's history. The tasting room hosts provide phenomenal service, and they truly know and understand the wines they're pouring. TIP: In our experiences, if you stop in on a Monday morning, they will have almost all of their wines open from the weekend, and you'll often be able to "sweet talk" your way into additional tastings. I often recommend places for my wine lover friends to visit, and Robledo is always on top of that list. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a tasting experience. You won't regret it!

Quaint location. Great informative employees and beautiful property. The wines are Sabrosas!

Laid back winery! The man who poured our wines for us was funky and so funny! We learned so much from him in our 90 minute tasting. He taught us about the different vines and grapes and it was a breath of fresh air. Great wine that truly surprised us! Great variety and pricing was not bad! Visited by Obama which was pretty cool to learn upon arrival. If you are looking for something more laid back and fun, this is the spot.

The estate was small, cute, and had a very Spanish feeling to it. We did the reserve tasting, holy moly their wines were amazing. 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is fragrant, strong, & unique. Must try !!

Adorable little vineyard with delish wines! Excellent service too. They allow meat and cheese and crackers and a few other food items for purchase, incase you need a snack to go with your wine and the tasting room had a total Mexico vibe. Super cute!

My favorite winery in Sonoma! Not only are they the first tasting room in the US owned by a Mexican migrant vineyard worker, theyre wines are SO good. We had the sweet & bubbly ($45) and the reserve library wines ($50) tasting flights and they were delicious. Highlights for me: - late harvest sauvignon blanc - Mamma Maria NV white port - 2018 50th Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon - 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Not only were the wines delicious, the service was great! Cynthia was great! We came on a Sunday afternoon and they werent terribly busy. They had the best music! We were served very quickly and had amazing service. Thank you, Cynthia! Definitel.y recommend!

This is a family owned estate with an enjoyable wine tasting experience. Our pourer was a sommelier, and also a poet (author of Wine & Love). There were cats & dogs around the vineyard. We sat outdoors under a shaded area. The views of the rolling hills were lovely. The 4/5 stars is due to us not falling head over heels with the wine. It was definitely enjoyable but we did not leave with any bottles to take home.

The friend that took us here mentioned how she likes that you never feel rushed. I see why people purchase wine club memberships now. As a Pendulum wine club member she gets wine pick ups, discounts, and unlimited tastings with three guests. The setting is beautiful! So many flowers. Nicely shaded picnic benches with umbrellas. They have a large fish pond and it's 25 cents for a cup of fish food to feed the turtles and koi. This is one of the most family friendly wineries I've seen. Many people bring their kids. They have corn holes too. Fancy and Pudding were the highlight! I reached out and felt like a Disney princess having one of them come to me for pets. The restrooms were very clean as well! It was fun browsing the store too. And of course the tasting and charcuterie board were a fantastic experience. I loved the cheeses and almonds they had. We had the option of deviating from the tasting menu. But everything we tasted was great! I think you can also bring your own snacks. It's a great winery experience. Nothing for praise for Cline Cellars. The day we went it looks like they were setting up a wedding later in the day. But that didn't negatively impact our experience at all.

I appreciated the personal attention, but it became a bit uncomfortable as the staff member sat with us between pourings. I would have liked the option to take our time drinking the wines, but I felt uncomfortable and slightly rushed as this person sat with us and did not always speak te whole time. We did arrive 30 minutes late due to the Tock app (reservation app) guiding us to the wrong location. We called Hamel to notify them and the person said they would wait for us, but I detected a bit of a tone. I also emailed Tock, which they responded quickly but basically said that they investigated it and it was basically an issue on Apple's side of things. No acknowledge of the inconvenience this had on me and my husband. We did receive a very tasty appetizer made by their world-renowned chef, but the wine fell short in my opinion. It seemed a bit watered down with little flavor overall. The wine is very expensive along with the wine tasting. Super easy process and check-in as well. From what I saw, there were two main histoic buildings and both had a lot of character. The wine lineup was solid and well curated. They're known for their reds, but I lean more toward the whites and still found a good variety to enjoy. What stood out most for me was the special guided tour our Sommelier done for us. I loved seeing the antiques and hearing about the history behind the buildings and how the winery came to be. It made the whole experience feel more meaningful instead of just going in for a tasting and leaving. I didn't leave with bottles this time, but I genuinely enjoyed the experience and everything I learned. Definitely will be back! Also there are some really nice antique stores very close by, so it's easy to make a whole afternoon out of it.

It's members only (plus entourage) and we were able to enjoy a bites pairing with our wine tasting on their hacienda. Upon checking in, we were given a complimentary "splash" (it was more than that) of their rosé of pinot noir, then shown to our table. The grounds are gorgeous- it feels very secluded and the design and layout was spectacular. We were served by Fran, who was so knowledgeable and had some super cool tattoos that my friends and I were in awe of. We tried the sylvaner, chardonnay, syrah, and pinot noir. The light bites were delicious as well and were filling for our group of 5!
