We keep going back to this restaurant for 1 reason, the beef fajita enchiladas. Last time we went I had to go and get a waitress because I guess she didn't realize we were part of her section but they gave us a different one which was for the best. There might be a few other food choices that are good but they probably all include beef fajita meat. And the bathrooms aren't dirty but they seem like it. My family and I are Robles regulars. The place is laid back, the servers are friendly and fast and the food is good. When Henry makes the sweet tea that makes the visit all the more heavenly. Me and my husband love to try out different Mexican restaurants when ever we're out driving around (and don't mind paying for quality). We stopped in for dinner on New Year's day. Every where else closed. We started with the chips and salsa. Chip were stale, salsa had good heat but no flavor. We ordered a large guacamole that was nothing more than mashed up avocado ( no lime juice, no cilantro, no salt, nothing). My husband had the chicken quesadilla and I had the supreme nachos. My husband said the chicken quesadilla was okay. The best flavor for the nachos was the jalapenos. This is one place we'll mark off our list. read more

I was warned not to eat at this place. I decided to give it a try and I thought "how bad can it really be?" The cheese enchilada was flat with cheese that wasn't melted, the beans were runny and the rice was kind of dried. I practically had to jump up and down to get the staffs attention to get a refill on my iced tea. This place is barf in my mouth bad. I think the only way they are able to stay in business is by selling sheet metal art which takes up over half of the already small parking lot. read more

My wife and I had the chicken fajitas for one and still managed to get full. The food was excellent. My only complaint is they only give you three tortillas unless you ask for more. We were seated quickly without menus or silverware. We had to ask for menus. After that service was pretty good, food was ok. Best part is they did not pester us asking stuff every two minutes. We had great uninterrupted conversation and a good lunch. read more

Will NEVER go BACK!!!! I don't care about the food and don't care to comment on it. Right now I am angry and upset because the receipt I have in my hands shows I paid $63.78 for lunch for 5 people this includes tax. But the transaction cleared my bank and it says it was for $78.78. WTF!!! $15 more. Methinks a waitress was not happy or something with the cash tip left on the table for her and went back for some vengeance. If she did it to me she could have done it very easily to someone else in the past or will do in the future. I just wish I could remember her name. I do know that she left while we were there to take her husband to work in Edam and came back before we had left. Yes we were there a while, but we were certainly not keeping others from eating or being served as the restaurant was fairly empty the entire time we were there. Maybe 5 other guests in and out while we were there. Here is short version. We just ate there on Saturday 7/18/15. My husband and I were visiting from out of town with my father-in-law and his wife so we were there for a couple hours or so visiting. Again waitress left at some point and came back before we left and had paid. So, my husband and I paid for all the food, but my father-in-law insisted on at least covering the tip. So, I told him how much the bill was and he left a cash tip on the table. I have no idea the exact amount was and really doesn't matter as a tip was left whether waitress was happy with it or not. I do know he left anywhere between $6 to $8 as I saw a $5 bill and $1's on table as I walked away to register. So, please don't read this thinking we royally screwed the waitress on the tip. I paid the balance for food, but now in my bank today 7/21/15 it is $15 more than price of food. BIG PROBLEM for me! So I have called the restaurant to speak with a manger and told they don't come in until 6pm. Told them I will call back so I am just waiting for that time and we will see what manager says about this. This is the first time I have ever had anything like this happen to me. I will dispute till the end based on principle alone. I hope it's not a not an unhappy waitress trying to get more without having proper authorization to do so or a restaurant running stealing from customers. But I will get to the bottom of it and let all know if this is an upstanding business or not. read more

I had been to this restaurant before and the service was terrible. But, this past Saturday we gave it another chance. The food was fantastic! I ordered some enchiladas, my wife had quesadillas, my son also had enchiladas, and his friend had nachos. Everything was great. Even our daughter, who does not like Mexican food had the chicken strips and said they were great. The salsa wasn't too hot and this time the service was great. We were the only people in the restaurant so maybe that's why the service was so good and the food was so fresh. But either way, I would recommend trying this restaurant again if you haven't in a while. They have a great location at 19 and 64. The atmosphere is nice as well. I would say the only thing they need to work on is their tortillas and just being consistent. Overall, this was a 5 out of 5 stars visit for us. read more
