Granted, it's tough being your own boss, especially when you're busy. First appointment window was missed with no communication until after it was over. Apologies accepted. Second window, he was 45 mins late after its expiration. Again, let it go. Get the job done. ~Dude, shouldn't we turn the breaker off? -No, it's okay, I prefer it live so I don't have to run back and forth from outlet to breaker. Experience seemed evident in his evaluation and efforts, except when a ZOT and blinding flash from the outlet he was working on happened. Thankfully, his gloves were on and no fire or damage occurred. Rob is a good guy who just needs a little better business organization, someone to handle scheduling. That and a good work truck. In the end, he was totally fair about price and the job got done. But I hesitate to refer him to clients. If it hadn't been very late in the day, that fatigue may not have caused the ZOT. read more

Wow I'm speechless!? Had an appointment 9-11am on Monday, which was confirmed Sunday night. No show or call and went straight to voicemail when I called him 30 mins after the 2 hr window given. I know things happen but I'm flabbergasted I just recieved an invoice to pay for work he never even showed up to do!! For more then the price given in the first place even. Well I don't know from where to start. I am actually short on words to praise this guy. What a hard working guy this man is! We recently bought a new house and wanted to get 15 downlights installed in different rooms of our house and he did it to more than perfection. After installing every light he cleaned the ceiling and light with wet paper towels to remove his dirty finger prints. He completed some part on day 1 took some money for that day came back next day and never left untill he finished his work. This guy spent at least 6-8 hrs in Attic to get the wiring done and the reason for that is our formal living room had no wiring and very limited Attic access. I am 101% sure if there would have been some other electrician he would have made lot of patches in our dry wall and we would have had no option other than saying yes. But Robert, you were totally amazing. He kept on saying I want you guys to be happy and don't want to make any patches in your dry wall and he wants it to look beautiful for us. I have seen someone has given him 2 star review for the reason he didn't show up next day although the review poster said he did a great job. Readers, I would say give someone a chance he might be stuck at some other work. About the money which is the most important part, HE WAS FAR TOO GENUINE. He is not like other guys who will rip you. First day he came in little late and he said you can take 40$ off my total. This shows that he is not greedy. Infact we were so happy with Rob's work that we paid him 60$ on top of what we agreed upon. I really like guys who work hard for their living rather than ripping you off. I just want to start by saying that Robert went above and beyond. I messaged him on yelp and he returned my iMessage probably and told me that if he wasn't able to repair my electrical issue he wouldn't charge me. When he came over we both thought it would be a simple issue. I had purchased a ceiling fan and the ceiling fan was in working order for some reason the wiring wasn't working. I thought it would be a quick fix. However Robert ended up being at my home for over four hours in what turned out to be an electrical maze. He not only fixed the issue of the wiring in the ceiling fan but also discovered that one of my power switches had been covered up behind drywall. He fixed the power for my ceiling fan, installed the ceiling fan, opened up the wall and installed a switch panel and also fixed a switch that controls the lights on my staircase. He could've left at any point as it ended up being a monster of a job. He took the job as a challenge and wouldn't leave until it was done and everything was in working order. Called Rob to have some electrical outlets and jboxes fixed, and to have a part of the front concrete walk way replaced that had lifted up creating a trip hazard in a house I've recently moved out of in order to finalize a pending sale. He was all over it like fly to honey. Immediately went to work on the electrical items, stayed late and knocked them out, and told me he would tackle the walkway the next day. Next day comes and he explains he had car trouble after the work he did, was up all night, and would get to it the following day, and asked for payment on the work he had done. No problem, life happens, and I immediately rendered funds for what he had done. The following day, no call, no show so I text him. No reply until late the following day asking if I still needed it done, and he could get to it the next day. Bite me twice dog story comes to mind. So in summary, Rob is awesome....IF you ever get him to finish what he promises to start. I've hired someone else to finish the job. read more

A ton of good things to say about Rob. Very personable, knowledgeable, helpful on advice, and very efficient. Needed five different sets of blinds on my various windows (all with different types of installations), and he had them done in a couple of hours.
