Very pleased with Rob's work on my car. I've found his service to be professional, honest and very reliable. I had some problems with my car that another mechanic was unable to fix, well they couldn't even find the problem to begin with!!! The dealership wanted to charge something ridiculous to fix other "problems" that according to them were not covered by warranty or the maintenance package I had purchased at the time I got my car. When Rob checked out my car and saw the mileage I have on my car he knew that the dealership... for the most part was BSing about what needed to be done to my car! HE takes the time to explain the problem and the solution and to shop around for parts. Rob not only saved ME $$ , he also helped diagnose my mom's car, this after it had been "FIXED" twice (by another mechanic) before Rob looked at it. Check engine light kept coming on every so often because they tried to fix the problem by replacing other parts that were not really related to the problem. Turns out her car had a blown head gasket, which is expensive to repair. He was very honest about what could be done and couldn't so we were able to make the right decision. I text the number that was given under Rob's mobile auto and truck repair I found on craigslist. He immediately text me back and this was on his time (about 10:30pm) I explained the best I could, the problem I had with my Motorhome. He explained several causes and solutions that he did not have to. I had him come to my residence at a specific time and he was prompt. while speaking to him in person and as he was explaining what he was doing and why as worked on my motorhome he was very pleasent and knowledgeable to talkt to. he located the problem and it was one that he told me about when I text him. He repaired the problem and made sure that the same problem should not happen again. During that process he foud an additional problem that of not attended to; would have had a devistating outcome if not fixed then and there. People are skeptacle about "mobile mechanics" but I assure you, don't be about this one. Job Well Done and highly recommended. read more

I was doing some research and looking for a mechanic on Craigslist when I came across this mobile mechanic (Rob). At the time I lived in Modesto and he said he would come and check out my 95 Camry that was leaking oil and overheating like crazy (really embarresing). He came out and diagnosed and fixed my car all in the same day. Not only did I not have my car sitting in some shop for a week I also didnt have to drive it around to get a quote. He was very patient about explaining the details of what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. I had been frustrated with my car services and or lack of with the automotive shop at my car dealers. Being a single mom I've always been given the worst scenarios on my car problems. I decided to try via an online seach Rob's mobile Auto Repair. I find Rob to be an honest working mechanic, which are but a few now a days. Rob explained the problem i was encountering, he told me what he needed to do to fix it and right up front how much labor was entailed and my total cost. Robs mobile service is fantastic. I had trouble with my GMC Denali and rob came by and fix my truck in a very short period of time. I thought I was goin to have to pay an arm and a leg, but robs prices were so much cheaper than going to the dealership. I saved so much money going to rob I really appreciated his services.
