I talked to the pharmacist they said if they have a transfer, they will fill all the prescriptions transferred without calling the patient. And if it doesn't go through insurance, they will charge the patient. That is not good practice. I am disgusted.

When I first walked in the greeter said that all 3-wick candles were $12.95 so I definitely jumped on that deal! I ended up leaving with 6 candles and some sanitizers!

As I went in today, November 23, 2025 I encountered the same woman as I came from the gym and had no makeup on and honestly didn't care what I looked like, but I was completely treated like a bum off the street and while I was waiting around. She actually had the nerve to act like I was going to steal something. I have a pretty good instinct of how people treat others in. This really was disappointing that Bath and body Works actually would hire somebody that chooses who she wants to deal with or who they want to deal with depending on what they look like. I walked out as I pretended like I was talking on the phone and everything has been recorded. she acted like I was a criminal off the street because I didn't look pretty. I think the store needs to have a crack down on how their associates are trained to deal with people because you never know who's gonna walk into your store. It could be a celebrity or it could be a bum off the streets, but everyone should be treated equal. I will never be returning to this Bath and body Works and I will be also sharing this video all over social media and to all my clients and since I am a blogger, it will be distributed as well on how I was treated walking in the store and how I was treated leaving. This is unacceptable and I think a manager needs to talk to the associates on how quick they think that somebody is a problem versus somebody that's been spending thousands and thousands of dollars at their store. Regardless, if you're poor or rich, you should be treated equally at Bath and body Works!

I moved to the area from Philly and had to leave my longtime phenomenal stylist. After trying several different salons over the last two + years and not being completely satisfied whether it was due to the exorbitant prices, poor service, mediocre haircuts, basic atmosphere, and just plain bland overall experience I decided to try Southern Obsession Salon based on a neighbors suggestion. I am so glad I did!! After reading the positive reviews on Yelp, I checked out their website-it was organized, easy to navigate, had information on all of the stylists, services, and hours. I was even able to make appointment on the site-It was so convenient! The location was perfect, not far from Downtown Winter Garden, right near the Library. The parking lot had plenty of parking. I was greeted within seconds of entering with a warm, friendly smile. The salon was beautifully decorated and clean. There was country music playing in the background but low enough where I could actually carry a conversation with my stylist. I have gone into too many places blasting house music because they must have thought that would be trendy or set them apart-wrong! My appointment was with Hayley. She was a breath of fresh air! She was down to earth, courteous, professional, and after I saw my style undoubtably talented! I am so happy with my cut!! I did not give her much to work with as I had long hair, wanted her to take a lot of length off and didn't have any ideas or pictures for her to go off of. Hayley spent some time getting to know me, asked all the right questions regarding my current styling techniques , and studied my hair texture and face shape and came up with a style for me. She was very honest and open letting me know if there is anything that I wanted to modify at any point or if I wasn't satisfied that she would change it so I was happy...even after a couple of days. She was very sincere. Again, I love my style!! I already made my follow up appointment and will be bringing my husband and daughter back with me! I asked while I was there if there was someone available to wax my eyebrows. Candice was my esthetician, she did a great job cleaning up my messy eyebrows all the while explaining what she doing and making sure that I was comfortable. She uses a hard wax which I never had before...clean, comfortable, no blotchy redness for an hour afterwards, and most importantly...no irritation!! I also scheduled mine and my daughters first facials with her in a couple of weeks!! So what I am trying to say is...if you are looking for beautiful and clean salon with extremely reasonable prices, a wide range of services and a personable, professional, and talented staff with zero pretension then Southern Obsession Salon is for you!! read more

**WARNING** This salon does not stand behind their stylists and will NOT refund your money even if your hair is a TOTAL and complete HIDEOUS MESS after Travis, their "best with blondes" male stylist destroys your hair. This guy arrived over 30 minutes late, skimps and does not provide the service paid for and proceeds to make your hair look like you got attacked by a street hooker on crack using bleach and koolaid!!!! NO joke!! Two days after I contacted the stylist he offered (with a pissy attitude) to "fix it"..... UH??? IN NO WAY did I feel comfortable to return to his chair. I repeatedly requested a refund and was ignored. My Easter was extremely depressing, family photos were completely wrecked by my brassy *glowing* head =( Finally one of their stylist offered to try to repair the damage and I am sure that she did the best she could to undo this guy's damage but it was damage done and I ended up having to have my hair cut incredibly short. I had no choice, it was falling out more and more by the day and plain ugly. Although she did not charge me to try to repair my hair, none of this experience could be called "free" as she continued to insist. To lose most of my hair has been a very costly and extremely difficult to adjust to, my current clothing doesn't even work with this drastic change. The stylist should not have been allowed to keep any payment for having a talent breakdown on my hair and then expect me to trust him to "fix the brass". It was far more than just some brass, as you can see in my photos. The salon should have demanded that he return me my money. Instead, they became upset with me for writing this honest review. They have asked me to delete it and said because I have not, that I am "out for revenge" and "out to get" the stylist, that "everyone makes mistakes" and I was told that I made the stylist cry. To say all of this to me is nothing but victim blaming. I also have cried many times over the "mistake" this person made to damage my head, hair, appearance and confidence. I am not being vindictive by writing or leaving this review up for others to read. I am simply and honestly sharing what my experience has been at Southern Obsession Salon. His next mistake may or may not be on you hair. read more

I am not usually one to write reviews, but my experience with Hannah was one of the best I have ever had when it comes to haircuts. I am very cautious when getting my hair cut and don't usually give stylists the benefit of the doubt when seeing someone new. But the consideration and effort she put into simply making sure I got the style I wanted was so thorough and genuine, I trusted her 100% after one conversation. My hair has gotten pretty dry and nappy over the years, but somehow Hannah made it look like I've never even seen a hair straightener. By the end of the cut, my hair had volume and shine and LIFE again. Perfect shape, perfect length. This might seem a bit dramatic... but I think she's magic. Hannah has an incredibly down-to-earth, outgoing, quirky personality that somehow doesn't come across as forced. She is the kind of hairstylist you drive hours to see. Honestly, if I moved, I would come back and visit specifically for a haircut. I have been to plenty of other salons (ones that charge more, honestly) and have never had such a good experience. I know this was a lot, but if you believe nothing else from this review, believe this: Hannah will have my business for every one of my future haircuts. read more

Tuesday morning I met Lindsey for a haircut. We've known each other for years but in that time, she has always seen my hair In some sort of a bob, generally about shoulder-length. Earlier this year I had my hair cut MUCH shorter and I warned Lindsey that I wanted to go shorter still! In addition to having much shorter hair, my last haircut was a real mess leaving a spot on the left side of my head that needed to be completely reshaped. Lindsey accepted the challenge like a champ and less than an hour later I emerged with one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. Lindsey even cleaned up the previous damage on the left side! Tuesday afternoon I took a short nap and when I got up, fully expected my hair to be sticking out in every direction and in need of restyling. However, the style held it's shape. And after shampooing the next day, it took only a few minutes to dry and style my hair. It's sassy and so easy to maintain! It's no simple task to cut super short hair on a mature woman and not make her look "old", but Lindsey did an excellent job. I was looking for a new salon closer to home and I am so happy I found Southern Obsession! It's such a cute salon and it has such a nice vibe inside, everyone looks so friendly and you could overhear the hair stylists complimenting each other's work (I loved the positive attitudes everywhere!). I will definitely be coming back. I scheduled an appointment for a hair cut and I'm so lucky I got placed with Sarah! My dead ends were awful and I was going to have to go pretty short for my taste to make it healthy again. But she held my hand through the whole process and gave me such good advice and realistic recommendations for future care! Plus she's super easy to talk to and so sweet! The whole time she made me feel like I was her number one priority! I'll be coming back in a few months to have her color my hair. On a side note, the salon is doing great to abide by covid policies. Aubrey did an amazing job in discussing the options for my hair color. She took her time and we looked at pictures. She did not rush me in any way. The color came out beautiful and the cut was awesome. She told me over and over if I was not happy with anything that she would fix it at no charge. When I left she told me again, even if I went home and wanted her to fix something, to come back and she would do it for no charge. Well I didn't need anything fixed because my cut and color came out fabulous! She was a pleasure to work with and also taught me some things. Apparently all these years I was using a heat protector when flat ironing my hair that was too heavy and it was weighing my hair down. I switched a lot of my products and my hair has had more bounce and more volume. I will be going back to Aubrey because I am confident any cut or color I want she can deliver!! I have to say I have had my hair done here since the salon opened. ALL of the stylists are professional and very talented. I take very good care of my hair with good products and good stylists. I am of the belief that it is not the responsibility of ANY stylist to perform miracles. If your hair is in bad shape perhaps giving it the proper attention before seeing a stylist is the way to go. I have NEVER had a bad experience at SOS and I have had over 25 cuts bleaches and colors done on my hair. I have MANY friends and family members who are clients of the other stylists. I have seen hundreds of amazing cuts and colors walk out that door. Kudos to the entire staff for making me Happy and proud to recommend Southern Obsessions Salon. I recently moved to the area and stumbled upon Southern Obsession and decided to give it a go. I walked in to being promptly greeted by several very friendly staff members, very cute decor, and offered a fresh cup of coffee! I made an appointment for a cut and a full head of foils the day before, which usually takes pretty long because I have lots of hair! Travis was absolutely awesome- he was very knowledgable and took his time even though I'm pretty sure I was his last customer of the day! You can definitely tell that he loves what he does, not to mention is very talented and great to talk to! I would recommend this salon- and especially Travis- to anyone. He absolutely knows his stuff and I am thrilled with my results- and I can be pretty picky when it comes to my blonde. Have to rave on Brandie Brick at Southern Obsession! My hairdresser recently retired so I went looking for a new stylist. Tried a few others, and wasn't happy, and then a friend recommended I try Brandie. I haven't been this happy with my hair for a long time! She listens to what I want, and then I can trust her to get it right. The color and cut are fabulous, and when I mentioned I'd like to try strawberry blonde, she went researching pictures to make sure we were on the same page. I can't wait to try it out at my next appointment. I know she'll do a great job on something completely different for me. Beyond that, she has an amazing personality and time spent in her chair is just plain fun! She was at another salon before Southern Obsession, but when she moved here, she just clicked! I have hard a hard time finding a stylist since my move to Florida almost 4 years ago. I am not very trusting when it comes to my hair, as I have had bad experiences in the past with stylists that didn't know what they were doing. I am sooooo thankful that I found Hannah!!! She does an amazing job with my hair, whether it is just a cut or full on color she is amazing! She always shows me the length it will be before making the first cut to make sure that it is what I want. With curly hair that can be a huge issue because as soon as it is cut the curls make it quite a bit shorter than you would think. Hannah has done probably the best job coloring my hair that I have had in years, absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend Hannah! She is the only stylist that I will be going to. I have been going to Southern Obsession Salon for over a year and have had nothing, but wonderful experiences. The atmosphere and staff are all super friendly. I have been seeing Emily as my stylist and she is amazing. She is kind and patient and has been a great guide for me on navigating what I would like when it comes to my specific hair. Emily always has provided suggestions and ideas that seem to fit right in with what I am looking for. Coloring my hair used to freak me out because I didn't always have trust in the stylists I was working with, but not Emily. I really can't say enough amazing things about her work! I had a really bad hair experience with another salon in Winter Garden and needed someone who could help get my hair healthier again due to extensive breakage from highlights. Ashley is wonderful! She took a lot of time to talk to me about my hair goals and also evaluate my hair condition. We then talked about the steps needed to get my hair healthy and eventually ready for highlights. She took her time to give me a very thorough cut while leaving most of the length. A good deep conditioner and after styling my hair looked amazing. Ashley is warm, personable and really cares about her clients. The shop is very quaint and the other stylists help each other with ideas and recommendations. Aubrey did an excellent job on my trim, blowout, root touch-up, and balayage! I went in uncertain of exactly what I wanted, but I knew I wanted balayage and a drastic change. Aubrey took her time going through suggestions and photos with me and talked me through each step of the process. She was informative and professional and made sure we were both happy with the outcome. It was my first time doing balayage or bleach, and I was very happy with the outcome. Aubrey also helped lift a dark violet I had put on the bottom of my hair which came out to a lovely medium brown. The entire staff was professional and friendly and the services are very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back in the future! I moved here in June and was very nervous about finding a salon and stylist I would love as much as the one I had in NC. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and decor of the salon. Everyone is always so cheery and sweet when you walk in. One of my favorite features is being able to book online. This is such a big deal to me because I never know when I can go again and with little ones it's so much easier to do things very early or late at night after they are in bed. Jennifer is my stylist and she is great! She listens and gives great advice when I come in with new ideas. Prices are also very budget friendly which makes coming more often less stressful! I was looking for a way to change up my hair and find something I loved after having the same style for so long. I've been getting my hair colored for years, but never changed the cut. I had just gotten my hair colored so I didn't need anything drastic done, just a style change. I read the reviews online and everything I found was so positive, so I called right away. Kandy Bustos is AMAZING and I have been a loyal client of her's for years! She is able to always give me an edgy hairstyle and killer bangs. She is very skilled knowledgeable with not only with cuts but also Keratin smoothing treatments and color. Great salon! I recently moved to the area and this salon was recommended to me as being a salon that was great with blonding! I had my first appointment today with Lauren and she did an AMAZING job on my hair. My color was messed up and brassy and i wanted it cooler and lighter. Lauren did a consultation first telling me what to expect and how long it would take to achieve the results i was looking for. I wanted to add some cherry cola pizzazz to my hair this time and she nailed it. Parking can be found around the corner from the salon, or across the street, or on the street. Prices are fair for the services (I end up paying about $200 for cut/all over color/tip).

But this was by far the worst curtain bang cut I have ever received. My bangs are incredibly choppy and not what I asked for at all. I asked her to start with it longer then we can see if I want it shorter - and she definitely just went ahead and went for the chop. I asked for longer ends and that didn't happen as well. Today I am off to go somewhere else and hopefully fix this. Super disappointed and REALLY wish stylists wouldn't accept a job they don't know how to do.

I always wanted to have perm because my hair has always been straight. I thought of getting perm for a change and to try having curly hair. It's my dream actually. Rom made that dream came true! She was very efficient, and her attention to details was just amazing. My curls look great! She gave me tricks and tips on how to take care of my new do and how to keep the curls in shape. On the other hand, the staff at Beauty and the Balayage were super friendly. Annie as very accommodating and knowledgeable too on hair grooming and hair care! I went for gray blending- the outcome was horrific. Ingrid did a horrible job. My hair was destroyed as there was too much lifting and then she kept trying to tone which made my hair purple. The worst!!! It took my hair two years to recover.

Accolades to Christina for how my skin looked and felt when I left the spa. Stress, poor eating habits, and poor attention to my face left my skin mottled, blemished, and dull. After a deep-cleaning and deplaning (a defoliation method that removes dead skin cells and hair), I looked and felt like a new person. She even massaged my arms, hands, and feet (what bliss!). I walked out looking younger and with GLOWING skin! Christina is a skin care EXPERT having researched, developed, and marketed her own skin care line when living in Miami. Her current skin products are sourced overseas. I purchased an amazing cleanser (Silky Milk Cleansing Balm) and a skin-soothing moisturizing cream with Vitamin C, which I love, and am returning to purchase a vitamin C serum she used on me, as my skin continues to look fantastic and I want it to stay this way. I have had friends asking me if I have had "work done." My skin looks so good. I will definitely be returning. What a gem in downtown Winter Garden. Right when layed down for a shampoo she drenched me with the water hose... secondly, she did not blow dry my hair correctly I had to ask her to dry it again! My roots were still damp by the time I left. I definitely should have asked how much cause $85 was NOTTTTT worth it here. I doubt the stylist was even licensed.
