I like to call places like this luxury athletic clubs. Courts, bar, food, locker rooms etc . This place has all that. Whether open play, tournament or court reservation, FPC does these things well and are very organized. I do feel the courts are far too tight on the sides and behind in some spots. I understand they were trying to maximize the amount of courts, but it does have an effect on play at times. If I'm in Rochester, this is where I play more often than not.

For a tournament, the balls provided were worn and not acceptable for game play. We asked the club's liaison for a newer ball since the ones on the tournament courts were 100% covered in fuzz and lacked bounce. They provided one to us that was used and in better shape, we shouldn't have had to ask for a reasonable playable ball. Parking is tight in the direct area but plenty of parking in downtown Fairport.

Very few trash cans which makes walking your dog and picking up after him a little unpleasant. The fields do not drain very well so if you show up after a recent rainfall, it's a bit soggy and very buggy. If the neighborhood has seen her dry spell, the park is very pleasant. When there are soccer games or other organized sports activities, the parking spaces fill up quickly. There are no bathrooms at this park.

Thousands of wild flowers bloom every spring. The flower is associated with kindness and everlasting love, among other symbols. I saw some bird watchers around with their binoculars, enjoying the different species of birds. Children were playing in the playgrounds; young people were playing pickleball, basketball, and tennis on a fine spring afternoon in the good weather, something rare in Western NY State.

They offer equipment rental and have some equipment for use for the convenience of their customers. This allows not just coaches with equipment to use their facility. They offer safety nets, pitching machines, machine balls, bounce backs, goals, plates, and more. The owner was easy to work with and went above and beyond with getting the cage ready for our arrival. The facility is clean and indoor nets, barriers, and equipment are in great shape. They offer a viewing and sitting area for parents and teams. Plenty of parking.
