The staff has made me feel very comfortable. They have been very empathetic and compassionate to my situation and have helped me get through my anxiety going through the treatment they set up for me. I have wore the piece they made for my mouth to help my jaw for 2 weeks and all my headaches are gone. I'm excited to see how my jaw will continually heal through the help of this office. I highly recommend this office. I'm blessed to have found them. By the way, I drive 4 hours total just to seek the help of this office. Tina Awood

I now continue with the practice for maintenance, with the same impressions I've had all along. I can't recommend the practice highly enough for anyone, but especially for dentist-avoiding patients as you feel at ease and pain-free whatever the procedure-from expert cleaning, cavities, extractions, to bone graft and implants, etc. Also, clear instructions, careful follow-up, and availability for questions or the unexpected. I feel that all the team is exceptional in terms of skill, know-how, and professionalism while having a consistently friendly and caring approach to patients.

They are friendly and professional. Jennifer, Dominique and Jackie always make us feel welcome. They provide support to us when we need it. Dr. Obeid has a wonderful bedside manner. I had my first gum graft with him a few months ago. I was anxious because I had had all my previous gum grafts done by my periodontist in Canada. However, Dr. Obeid exceeded my expectations by answering all my questions and recommending a treatment that would help with bone loss. The pain and discomfort were minimal and the gum is healing well. My husband and I both highly recommend Dr. Obeid and his team.

The dentist suggested that I go out to a endodontist to get a second opinion on my teeth before we started my treatment plan. That endodontist took almost 2 months before I could see them. I went there to the referral appointment . Called back to Oakridge to make my appointment and she said they no longer take my insurance all of a sudden. She was very sarcastic with no apology. The office staff never really made me feel welcome there . Why dental offices do this to people is absolutely ridiculous to make someone feel less than because of insurance. This situation was absolutely unacceptable.

Original Review Reposted After Unfulfilled Refund Agreement and untruthful…read more I originally posted a review of this experience on March 18. I had agreed with the dentist to remove the review in exchange for a refund. Since I never received the promised refund, I am now reposting the review. Here it is: I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at this dental office. I scheduled a tooth extraction after being told over the phone that my out-of-pocket cost would be $90 with insurance. Instead, I left with a $910 bill. The lack of financial transparency was extremely concerning. I was initially told that a bone graft would cost around $600, but during the procedure, that amount suddenly increased to $850--and I was required to pay immediately. What made the situation worse was the pressure I felt while still in the chair. The dentist pushed me to make an immediate decision between an implant or a bridge--both significant medical and financial choices that require time and proper explanation. I was also told that a bone graft was necessary right after the extraction, even though a bridge typically does not require one. When I questioned why these options and costs were not clearly explained beforehand, I was dismissively told, "We told you so," referring to information that had never been clearly communicated to me. At no point were the cost differences properly outlined. I also want to note that I never had any issues with the previous owner during my care, which makes this experience even more disappointing. At this point, I expect I may hear more explanations or even an apology, but that alone does not address the core issue of transparency and patient communication. Overall, I felt rushed, dismissed, and treated like just another number. Patients should never feel pressured into making major, permanent decisions on the spot. I would not recommend this office to anyone who values clear communication, transparency, and professional patient care.

I can't express enough how lucky I feel to have found this practice. 3 years ago my daughter had a tooth pulled with "zero pain". Last month I had my first cavity filled in 20 years. Wow, Dr Walby and his assistant whipped through that thing so quickly and seamlessly I wish I could have videoed it. Zero pain or discomfort. All done in about 20 minutes. I was waiting for there to be pain once my numbness wore off, but nope. In the past, I've had to go back to other dentists for them to correct the bite, but he did it perfectly right out of the gate. We're all impressed.

After that they said you need deep cleaning for which we need longer time slot so lets reschedule. All the work for their xrays. I took time off again and returned for the deep cleaning visit and she was done within 30 minutes. We had this time during my first visit. Also visit left me in pain which kept getting worse. I compalined of tooth sensitivity and they just put a gel. I thought xrays would have proven on any value to patient or better advice. Lack of accountability and integrity After a few months that tooth which was sensitive turned into a root canal issue. They just referred me to a root canal specialist. I returned back to then for crown for which I prepaid from my FSA. Our dental plan was changing so I called them to schedule a crown visit and not return the money on the card. I got the affirmation of that from Mary two times. She did exactly the opposite, i.e.: returned the money to FSA. I spoke to Kory, office manager and at first she acknowledged the mistake and assured that we will get our money "no matter what" so we can use it towards crown. It was all a deceitful burrial of the matter while it was fresh. Her stance later changed. I requested that I have a word with the Partner but never heard from them. Uncoordinated staff These guys dont listen. After the cleaning visit I remember calling them to understand my bill. They kept saying that "initial bill is always an estimate". They talk over you and repeat even though you are one who has called them. Yes, we understand that it is an estimate but I am calling to understand which line item was not covered by my insurance. It took two calls to get to that. Please find someone else! And Hillstream, please do not say write that it is "family run practice" because commercial practices are a lot better.
