We spent a week on Hollywood Beach in December and ate at many of the places down there. A nice little spot right near the stage where you can eat and listen to the nightly bands. Rocco's was one of our favorites as far as the quality and quantity of the food. We ate dinner there twice during our weeks stay. The waitresses we had were extremely nice. However, the only down fall was the one scantily clad waitress who thought it was okay to go braless and wear shorts much shorter than need be. I am no how no way a prude but feel her attire was much more suitable for a bar or strip club atmosphere not a family restaurant where there are families and children. 3 stars from me until the ass cheeks aren't hanging out. read more

Have had pizza here many times in the last couple months. It was my go-to place on the beach, however it's definitely a hit or miss, the last two times the pizza was soggy, cheese tastes something like when reheated in microwave can't describe it just not enjoyable...I guess it depends who makes it. One of the best dining experiences I've had with toddlers. We were seated immediately outdoors with six adults and six kids under the age of five. The server gave us the rundown and highly recommended their garlic rolls which were huge hit. Some servers are clueless when it comes to the dining needs of parents with young children but our server was on top of it the whole time. Little things like lids for the kids water and paper plates for the kids meals make a huge difference. The pizza was also fantastic along with the outdoor dining atmosphere. Awesome service! I had a group of 12 dine here on a Friday night. Roxanne allowed me to sit at a table for 12 eventhough only 3 of us had arrived. My group was arriving sporadically because some of them were just getting off of work. We took up that table for almost 2 hours. There were multiple checks. Roxanne was on top of it. There wasn't an empty glass on the table and every order was correct. The food was excellent. Came here for my birthday today.Thought it was a normal restaurant at first but then I was amazed about how outstanding the food was.I definitely recommend this restaurant and I definitely recommend the pancakes. We love this place since 2002 and they are fortunate to have Debbie, she's amazing and makes you feel like you are sitting in your living room enjoying Rocco's amazing Italian entrees and pizza, along w cold cold beer! However, upon our most recent covid visit, within the last 4 days. we were challenged by the meet / greet staffing and the bus professional NOT wearing a mask while working and interfacing with customers both inside and outside of the establishment. It was awkward because our last 3 visits to Rocco's since April 2019 were almost covid perfect. Debbie was over the top amazing and "saved" my dining experience!! You are fortunate to have her! She treats customers like real family and gets this covid safety thing. Your two female and one male staff who were working the outside, were not being respectful of incoming customers who may have a covid fear. Be more aware! Roccos's provided terrible service and delivered disgusting food to my house. We ordered wings and there was green dye all over the wings. When I called and spoke to the lady on the phone she told me it was parsley and completely ignored my dissatisfaction. She never bothered to make it right, she seemed bothered that I was calling and was rude about the situation. I will never order from here again, save your money. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars. They were accommodating and helpful and truly wonderful. Unfortunately they had some rude customers come in but Jeremy the floor manager handled the situation wonderfully and accommodated everyone. Although the couple made everyone feel uncomfortable the staff remained lighthearted and we were all able to laugh after the situation. The waitress made great food recommendations and the food was great! This place is a great little spot even amidst the Covid pandemic. We even had a person with a dairy allergy in our group too and they went over and beyond to make sure nothing had dairy. They truly were great here! I recommend! read more

Went here for a quick slice for lunch today. Pizza and service was outstanding! I enjoyed it so much I dropped by with my brother at 10:48 pm for a late nite quick slice. Door was open so we walked in. There were several diners in the restaurant eating. Girl behind the counter said that they were closed. She gave the impression that she just didn't feel like serving us which was exactly what happened since after checking the website stated that their hours are open until 11. Pure laziness! Food was good and service was average. My family and I visited on a Friday evening and no server came to our table for about 15 minutes. (We needed to go tell someone no one had been with us yet.) The calamari & salads were great (starters), and the pizza wad good too. The pizzas are huge (very shareable-for probably up to 4-5 people depending on how hungry you are) I ordered a buffalo chicken sub but it came with no buffalo sauce on it. You can't go to Hollywood beach without grabbing a slice of pizza for lunch and some ice cream after. We love Rocco's pizza! I usually just grab a slice of cheese and be on my way but we noticed since margaritaville opened up, there are a lot more tables for outside dining. It was a beautiful day (otherwise we wouldn't have been at the beach) so it was a no brainer that we wanted to sit outside. This time, I was feeling a bit more adventurous at this place. I ordered two slices of sausage and garlic. I forgot how huge the slices were...I barely could finish one and tried to pawn my other slice off on my boyfriend who devoured his two slices already. Oh well, leftovers for me! My only complaints are: 1. The garlic was in huge chunks...I much prefer minced garlic rather than biting into an entire clove with each bite but I'm sure they could have done that for me upon request.. And 2. They automatically add gratuity. This I almost didn't catch since their printer seemed low on ink and it didn't make out the words completely. I asked the waitress if gratuity was already added and she said yes...I then asked how much and she responded "15%". I did a little math and it's really 18% added on which annoyed me just the slightest. I understand a server's hustle but don't lie to me! Negative half a star for each complaint. This place used to have good food. This trip I found it gross, and very dirty. I stood up once to move my chair closer to the table and the seat fell off the chair. The bathroom was disgusting! I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was over-cooked, the sauce was more like soup. The whole bottom of my bowl was full of water. The only thing sort of eatible was the meatball, but after my trip to the bathroom where there was no soap because the dispenser had long been torn from the wall.... I could no longer eat. Obviously the employees don't wash their hands. I would love to see this place pass a health inspection.... It couldn't! read more

I come to Hollywood beach all the time and decided to give this place a try for a dinner with the family. I cannot say how disappointed I am in my service.. my waitress, Pilar, took a long time to bring us appetizers. We were brought the wrong thing TWICE. As soon as you walk in you realize this is a hole in the wall pizza joint. As you get into the restaurant it become apparently obvious this place isn't big on cleanliness. We had to wipe down our own table. The molding strip around the middle of the wall is covered in crumbs and the floor looks appears to get mopped once a day if that. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The dough is thin to medium, the sauce was light as well was the cheese. I wasn't impressed with the overall taste it was just average. Went there last night with a group of five. Staff was unorganized and not helpful. Our waitress was very snappy and you could tell she didn't want to be there. Asking for side items or drinks seemed to annoy her. I asked for some sauce on the side as an extra and was given a hard no. Great location for a fast Italian meal right in front of bandshell. While attending the show at the bandshell we grabbed a table and order a chic parm hero, side of spaghetti and Mariana and a house salad. Notwithstanding the yelp reviews, service was fast and all food came out timely and was flavorful and tasted great. I'd usually give a place like this a 3 star rating but based on its location and the horrible food options on the broad walk, it fetches 4 stars from me. Will return when. Here for the first time with the family to enjoy a reggae concert so figured to order a couple jumbo pies, but unfortunately was shot down at the window by a very overwhelmed and rude lady which told us she couldn't take our order then proceeded to close the window. When she finally came back she told us to go somewhere else as they were too busy and it would take more than 30 minutes. Perhaps the pizza is good but we will never know. We have been going to Roccos for over 25 years. We've been through the rough times during the building of Margaritaville and the placement of pavers all over the boardwalk. We've gone with just the 2 of us and groups of 25+. We've had them cater our events at home. Their pizza is fantastic and non Italian dishes never disappoint. Mahi mahi wings and burgers are a family favorite as well as Guys homemade cheesecakes. I can't even begin to name all the fantastic dishes but a few other family favorites are: arugula with chicken salad, garlic bread and rolls, breakfast calzones, breakfast pizza, pasta ala vodka and eggplant are all just as Nana would make. I'm not going to say every waiter/waitress is perfect because everyone has a bad day once in a while. To bash 1 meal or 1 server and give 1 star isn't being fair to the majority of a meal that was done well. My family will agree that Roccos is a first choice when deciding where to go especially with the kids for the beach, music and just running around. read more

We thought it would be a dope pizza pie seeing that it wasn't right on the boardwalk...we thought it would have to be, but it was not. The other review above is accurate in description, but it's not really what we're looking for in a pizza joint. We're really just looking for good pizza. The peppers were pickled and the mushrooms tasted like they could have been pickled too! All the toppings are definitely straight out of a can. We didn't even finish the whole pie.
