Well after walking into this place for my very first time on Christmas evening, I only saw about 3 tables. It seemed very slow. They had upbeat Hispanic music, most of it was good oldies. I ordered their lobster flavored pasta with shrimp and it was spectacular!!!! Their sauce for their tortilla chips was very good too. The pasta was luxurious and very milky and creamy. Their bread rolls were dry and nasty. The restaurant is a perfect size. But after I saw that the pasta costed $15 ...on the menu, I was told that this price was only for the lunchtime menu. Their dinner prices run very high, so I'm understanding why their waitress told me that it's been very slow here lately. I paid an almost whopping $30 for the pasta which wasn't even a large portion either. Their fajitas were $23 on the menu, so ik I couldn't have been looking at their lunch menu. Now I REALLY wanna ...talk to the manager. NOWHERE ON THAT MENU DID IT SPECIFY LUNCH/DINNER. Makes me wonder if this place will even MAKE it or eventually shut down with these very upsetting prices. read more

Great spot! Authentic flavors and my favorite so far in the area. The pollo burrito is amazing and reminded me of one of my favorites El Farolito in San Francisco. The pictures shown online were spot on. The color of that golden browned tortilla is what made me stop in and glad I did. Great vibe in here and fun music. We went to try this place out on Tuesday night. This restaurant has good ambiance and plenty of tables for big parties. Music was very festive and fun. Service was great except waitress had miscommunication on what we had ordered. We really wanted to try queso dip but maybe next time. We had beef taquitos and steak, carne tacos. Wasn't sure which was which but every table gets sauces of green and red. Good deal for taco Tuesday. Reminder, meat in the tacos were in bits. I was told taquitos were decent. I really enjoyed everything I ordered! I love the rice and beans side order with whatever I get... The quesadilla was large and filling- you can probably share it. The wings were delicious plain with my side of buffalo and blue cheese. The pina colada was very good and I could've definitely gotten a second one it was so tasty! I have been coming here since they 1st opened. They have turned the previous space into a charming restaurant with a bar/restaurant and a karaoke stage area. As the name says.... you can go Italian or Mexican. I hear that the pizza is great, but I love Mexican style food, so I have yet to try it. They bring you chips and their green salsa. They have 2 homemade sauces that accompany the chips. The green one is super-hot but so good. The other is a chipotle mayo. I could put that sauce on everything in this world. This time I tried the pastor style tacos (lunch special) and my friend had the beef quesadillas. The quesadillas were packed and full of flavor. The pastor tacos tasted so authentic served on homemade tortillas, pinto beans, and yellow rice. As usual the Margaritas were excellent. My favorite item though is not Mexican or Italian. One of the owners is Costa Rician. He added the chifrijo to the menu and it's amazing. It's not served during the week, but it was Friday, so they had it! A typical hangover food in Costa Rica filled with all types of goodness including beans, rice, avocado, fresh tomatoes and chicharrons. Served with chips.....my mouth is watering again.....it's so satisfying. Come here for lunch or come late night if you are in the area. They have karaoke on the weekends too. We were looking for a low key Mexican restaurant that would be considered a neighborhood spot and we came across Taco Taco Pizza Pizza. It's centrally located, right on the border of Hollywood and Hallandale Beach, right in the outer parking lot area of the Mardi Gras Casino. We came to the restaurant on a Sunday evening, and we parked right in front of the restaurant. They had maybe 10 parking spots in the shopping center. I think you possibly could park in the next shopping center as well but it really wasn't clear. We walked in to the restaurant and were greeted warmly by one of the employees and sat us promptly. One of the servers came by a few minutes later to answer any questions we had and took our drink order. We ordered a bottle of house white wine for $25 and they brought some comp chips and salsa to start as well. We ordered a slice of meatball pizza which was a huge slice and they cut it in two which was plenty for the two of us to share. The pizza was amazing and a good quality. We both ordered tacos for $15.95, which included 3 tacos, and a small side of rice and beans. All food was very flavorful and good quality. Delicious!! We live close to this restaurant, and have passed it many times. Always thought the name was funny, but we had never actually eaten here until today. Food is so good. Came with a party of 10 and everyone loved their meal. I will say the kitchen was pretty slow, considering there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant besides us. We waited quite a while for our food. But the waitress was very kind and attentive. I highly recommend the Cochinita Pibil tacos, but they're only available on the weekend. I came to this restaurant in search of some good barria tacos and I was so impressed! This was my first time trying barria tacos and they were the perfect spice level and cooked very fresh. I was excited to find that I was in this area and had this spot book marked already. I went in the late afternoon on a Saturday, so I was the only diner in the restaurant. Even with that fact, the service was subpar. I ordered a burrito, vegan. It had a ton of rice, which was much too salty and not many other ingredients. The sides were also over salted. The guac here was sheer delight and the vegetarian tacos were some of the best that I've had in a long, long time. Chips & salsa = yes to both. The spicy sauces can get very hot so be careful when you slather those bad boys on your food. The agua de Jamaica was an absolute delight. My friend did have a meat lover's pizza and he said it was very good. We also had the garlic rolls which are not soaked in oil, that's a plus for me, most people may miss that. New upcoming restaurant, is a new upcoming Mexican food restaurant. The place is being renovated what really matters is the food and food quality. We came in to celebrate my birthday . The place has a few televisions one big screen and 1 More by the bar. Open kitchen so you can see the cooks in action. I took pictures of the menu, so take a look at it. I order burrito Sabanero, it's basically Mexican rice, beans, bell pepper, steak, mushrooms and onions very well seasoned and fresh ingredients. I got my kids pizza and I got to tell you pizza was GRRRAT!! Nice and crispy crust and it tasted as it was cool in coal oven... MUST HAVE! My wife had the sopes and they were cool fresh. Most places they have sopes prepared these ones were pretty fresh. Other people had the Pastor quesadilla again very nice cooked comes with avocado and with whatever meat you like. Listen if you want to enjoy a nice Mexican dish this is the place to come to... the owner of this establishment is trying to keep the Mexican dishes consisten and fresh and they are achieving it. Wow! Popped in on a Friday after the gym to grab a few tacos to go. I pass by this place all the time and saw positive reviews. All true! Fantastic staff, very attentive. I sat at the bar and had a margarita while I waited for my order. I observed the kitchen and could tell they are serious about their craft. Tortilla chips and homemade tomatillo salsa accompanied my frozen margarita which actually had tequila in it! Yay. I took home the carnitas tacos and they were excellent along with the rice and beans. Delicious. One thing I know for sure is that you can judge a Mexican spot but their tortillas, and these are not store bought. Yes! It's very nice inside with wall murals and Mexican themed decor. We've already gone twice to dine in the restaurant and ordered takeout on a Friday night. I was hesitant at first due to the pizza/Mexican food concept. It's hard for restaurants to master one cuisine- much less 2 different ones; however, we've been pleasantly surprised with every visit and order. We ordered a slice of the pepperoni pizza and it was so good! Definitely transported me back to my favorite New York pizzeria. I'm actively trying not to go back and get more RIGHT NOW. 10/10 would recommend! We ordered a few Mexican dishes and they were also great. Definitely our new fave local taco spot (much better than Chapultepec that's nearby). The restaurant ambiance and decor are modern and moody. I especially love how dark this restaurant is. There are lots of stringed lights and candles on the inside, so the lighting is really great. Not too dark that you can't see the food but great for the overall mood. Service was pretty quick so we were able to pretty much order right after sitting down. The waitress was attentive and very sweet. I definitely recommend giving this place a try and I will for sure return. We also placed a takeout order a few days after our first visit and their online ordering process was easy and user friendly, I loved it. This restaurant is very close to my home so I have become a regular and pretty much have stopped going to any other Mexican restaurant within a five mile radius. This restaurant is CONSISTENT in service and food taste and quality. The owner takes great pride in his food quality. I am starting to order different food items and every time it's just sinfully delicious. They are will give small samples of a new item just so you can try something new. Smart. I was given a small sample of pizza. My son usually orders the pizza but I have never tasted before. The pizza is a thin crust and crispy but soft and the sauce is sweet but not overly if that makes sense and he brushes the crust I think with an olive oil garlic maybe? It's glossy and a hint of garlic and something else I can't pin point. It is very very good! We ordered a gigantic have pepperoni and half ham and pineapple pie and a Mexican pizza. Imagine retried beans on this delicious crust with your protein of choice topped with pico de gallo and cilantro, cheese and jalapeño ( I did mine on side) I have never had a Mexican pizza like this and it was really tasty. I will order again. The pineapple on this pizza was so fresh ( hand cut)that the pizza really went to another level of taste. I also ordered what turned out to be the best pina colada of life! Home made and served with a frozen glass and an ice cold pineapple slice. You know that feeling of happy as a kid you got when you dunked your cookie in ice cold milk? Well, this is the same feeling as an adult except your dunking your ice cold pineapple slice into pina colada. It is that good and at $6.00 dollars happy hour. You can't beat it!!!
