Driven by many times over the years. Nice location near the river and shopping areas. I stopped in for lunch on a friday and was greeted politely and promptly. I ordered the turkey bacon avacado sandwich to go. Love they have bean sprouts! They literally had it made by the time I found a seat and pulled my phone out of my pocket. The shop itself is cute and appeared clean. The sandwich was decent. Nothing super special or note worthy. It was a large sandwich but the bun felt heavy compared to the filling ratio. Could have used more guacamole and another piece of bacon and tomato. They did have spicy dill pickel chips which was a win. read more

Um I ordered a sand-which today that about broke my tooth and was a choking hazard.. there was a piece of plastic from the thing that seals sand-which bread.. I would like to add I'm also pregnant so it's concerning if there plastic I could have choked on in my sandwich how sanitary their station is to make food. read more

Big selection of sandwiches, super nice staff, but our food wasn't up to our expectations. My reuben sandwich was just ok for the $12.99 price, not one that I would order again. Also had the ham and cheese sandwich which was pressed "panini" style making for very hard crust to chew. Finally had a mixed salad which was pretty much just lettuce. On point in every regard. Our team was delayed flying into Denver and we weren't able to provide our order the day before as was previously agreed upon. Desperately, I made a call in the morning, before business hours, and was greeted by the Kitchen manager. I feel bad I can't recall her name but she was eager to help us and take our order over the phone. She was clear and concise and made sure the order was exact. Upon arrival (early even) they had our food ready and pre-packed and labeled for each person. The only thing I wished was better was getting out of the drive thru; lots of traffic if trying to make a left hand turn onto 4th Street. So many tempting options on the menu. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed our sandwiches in the shade on the front patio. Inside was nice and cool with good ac but the shade outside was pleasant too. Service was friendly and we didn't wait long for our food. I had the French dip and it was so big that I took half home for dinner tonight. Both of our sandwiches were awesome. Great food, could-be-better service. They are only doing drive through and takeout, which was a little disappointing as we were looking forward to eating there. They have lots of options. So took us a while, but we finally ordered the Monte Cristo and the Cuban. We also ordered chocolate chip cookies when the lady at the window said that she had just baked it. She was also very sweet. So far so good, right? Well, on our way home, I dug into the bag and realised there were no cookies. My friend called the restaurant back and the same lady apologized profusely saying that she forgot, but that she hadn't added it to the bill any way, so it was ok. Now my friend was pretty sure she HAD paid for the cookies but didn't want to argue much. So we just put it down as our loss. A few minutes later we got a call from the owner saying that the lady had been wrong, and we had, in fact, paid for the cookies. It was too late to go back by then, so he did finally deduct the cost of the cookies. Why do I harp on this so much? Your food is good, so adding in excellent service, will be even better. Any way, onto the cookie-less food - my friend RAVED about the Cuban. My Monte Cristo was good but a little soggy by the time I got to it. I would like to give these guys another chance and see what happens. read more

I just had the absolute WORST experience at a restaurant that I've had in my entire LONG LIFE at Rocco's Riverside Deli. Normally there is a very nice lady there who is very helpful and kind. Apparently, she is out. The young man-child who was working at the window today was EXCEEDINGLY RUDE! I arrived shortly before 5:00 and no one answered the drive-thru. There was no sign at the speaker saying they were now closing at 5:00. So I waited, then I called. No answer, so I pulled up to the window, actually a little concerned that something was truly wrong. That's when this immature, whiney man-child opened the window and went on and on, yelling AT ME, the customer, how he can't handle basically working full-time, because his mom is out with an injured foot. He was extremely and unnecessarily rude. He ended by saying that I can't get out by going forward because he had already closed the gate (which he could have opened to let me out) then slammed the window closed. I honked because I wanted to make that point and he threw open the window and said, "F*** you lady!" and slammed the window. It's a shame, because Rocco's WAS formally one of my favorite restaurants, but not anymore! I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! read more

We got the Rocco Monte Christo and it was great, especially the apple cranberry chutney! Indoor sitting is limited but there are outdoor tables. Coco was our order taker and was patient with first timers!! They have gluten free buns and are careful with cross contamination. Will definitely be back to try other sandwiches!! read more

Lived up to the hype. Lots of people have told me about this place. I got the Mediterranean salad and it was huge and delish and filling. Sometimes I don't like getting salads because let's be honest - it is a salad and that's depressing - but this was an "American" salad and left me full and ready to be awesome the rest of the day. The chicken you can tell was fresh and had been marinated in something delish before being grilled. It also had lots of little surprises throughout like olives, red peppers etc. I'm a fan! read more

The sandwiches come with chips, which attempts to justify the slightly high menu prices. I ordered the Italian panini, Italian salad, grilled cheese and french dip with 1 drink and bill was about $32. I enjoyed the panini with homemade Italian spread, and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals too. The potato salad had a great flavor but could have used some more potato, I feel like it was mostly mayo/sour cream and only a few chunks of potato. The Cuban, again had a great flavor but the bread needed more crisp and was way too soggy, almost impossible to eat. My purchase was almost $14.00 for the sandwich, Lays chips, a gross pickle, potato salad and a regular fountain drink.
