I was naive…read moreand told her my budget of $500 with the expectation she would maximize what she could do for a ~1200 sq foot area and the cleaning of 24 windows. She was kind. Floors cleaned well. Windows were satisfactory. -What was missed- Construction areas were completely missed mainly the master bathroom. We started the cleaning session by walking the construction area, a major part of it was, as mentioned, the remodeled bathroom. After cleaning was "completed" a pocket door mirror wasn't touched, caught that right away and she came back and cleaned it. I later discovered none of the walls in bathroom were not wiped down, shower glass was never cleaned, there was a film of grout still present on the shower tile indicating it was never cleaned. In the bathroom our matte black fixtures still had crap on them, toilet still had dust, drawers still had a layer of dust, vanity top had a layer of dust as well, all bottom facing mouldings had construction dust on them too. The wood tile floor had speckles of paint left on it. The transom glass was never touched. Both Mitsubishi Wall AC's had dust all over them, and the master bedroom ceiling fan had a fat layer of sheetrock dust on it. I can understand that visibly it may have looked clean at quick glance because everything is new, but the onus is on R&I to be detailed for the money paid. I left the house for a good portion of the cleaning session because I do my best to provide professionals the space and autonomy to do what they do. Cleaning session started at 12:30 ended at 3:30. Two people, 3 hours, $500. 500/6 hours of work = 83.33 per hour. Honestly, I paid 2x the going rate and I expected a level of clean that was not met. The experience was disappointing, and I went into panic mode to clean everything missed by R&I before my 7 month pregnant wife came home. I dwelled on writing this review for a good week, and the more and more I thought about it, the more I felt taken advantage of. Unfortunate.

They did not clean most of the windows. Additionally, one of the cleaners was on the phone constantly and clearly was distracted. The other cleaner tried to make up for it, but at the end of the day, many baseboards were still dusty, there were cobwebs in corners and most of my windows still had grime. Specific things: Stsirs to be vacuumed-said they did but I could not see a difference and found a small spider and a fly both in a web in the corner of the lowest stairs. And after -not only were refrigerated items not back in place (fruits in the clearly labeled and temperature controlled drawers were switched for vegetables, the bottom freezer drawer was not addressed, the seals had visible stuff still in them that a quick wipe would have addressed, and I found a couple of science projects not checked & removed. These are basic expectations to a refrigerator cleaning. There was to be one appliance included in each visit(refrigerator was an extra charge) kitchen range with a double oven was to be part of the normal clean... the front of the range looked like they missed the step of wiping off the cleaning solution to restore the shine to the metal as did the refrigerator handles. It was clearly discussed during the on site estimate they the cabinet faces and doors were to be wiped clean every time. If they did that It was obvious they did not have an eye for detail. The same result when it came to lights , baseboards & inside windows & sills. Which were part of the specific assignments for the day. I have a 3000 daft house so asked them for my (3) hr cleaning (I though she'd told me three cleaners but there were two) I asked them to address the items mentioned already plus two bathrooms. And include vacuuming the stairs to and the basement family room. Ignoring by request the rest of the downstairs (except for a quick suffering of family room & 1st guest room shelves. Family room shelves were not dusted and was too disappointed at this phase of my walk through after to even look at the guest room. It is hard to write a perfect & detailed review. I heard them laughing and talking while they worked seemed like a happy team. They were both friendly and polite. But for $350? The results do not matchup. I only called White Glove Cleaning because they were recommended to me by my /air duct cleaning service that I have and will continue to ask back. I work at home and was in my office.while they worked -keeping my small dogs in the room with me and out of their way. My work takes much mental focus and the cleaning team did not seem to respect that either. Not helpful. Will clean for myself or use another service when I get brave enough to hire help in the future.
