What a interesting place! Its cool, really. Theyre somewhat easy to find because it is on corner of the street. Parking lot is limited but there is additional parking lot is next block on left. Its big sign of Rochester Beer & Park on the fence. Staff is really super friendly! They are easy-going folks who will give attention to customers when they want a drink & order foods There are tons of tables, chairs & picnic tables. Cool pictures & signs inside where you can take selfies! Ohh, theres cornholes in back where you folks can play. Umm... restrooms is really unique, very clean & small like portable restroom but looks are mad cool design. Dogs are allowed is really cool! Foods? Pretty nice.. above of "not bad". Maybe solid 3.5 stars. I ordered pulled pork sandwich w/ bbq sauce, chicken fingers, & nachos. Beers? Wow a lot of selection to pick!!! Plentiful to drink!! Its gem place to find & unwind yourself from day's work or hard work.

Truly came here just to listen to a favorite local band, Mochester ( an amazing rock/reggae vibe band) and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a fan of beer, but managed to find something. The food looked delicious and I hope to indulge the next time, but the atmosphere is what blew me away. They had something for everyone: from beer pong to corn hole and beyond! Service was great from the bartenders, to security, to those bussing tables... on point! This RV park themed Beer park with live music on weekends should not be missed!

Fun place. Quirky vibe. Hidden on an unassuming corner, the place seemed like an open air market in a garage complex. The string of beer taps is long. I had to walk the length of the bar to read them all. A bit disappointed to find that most of them were IPAs, and the few Buffalo beers present were not among our best. Still, I found a couple not so easy to find varieties that I enjoyed. I was also happy to see a decent amount of vegan options on the menu. I ordered the vegan chicken sandwich with a side of curly fries and a yummy cucumber tomato salad, recommended as a vegan option (not on the menu) by the person taking orders.

What a cool spot. Ended up here on our bar hopping night and realized we should've started here! Lots of tables available and stools at the bar. Had a mango white claw; A flavor I've never had before. It was kinda gross. I like the other flavors better. Otherwise, had a couple of whiskey sours. Can't complain about that! Clientele were cool. Had random conversations with fandoms all night. Welcoming crowd. Bathrooms are first come first serve. Lol. Beware! But they had toilet paper. Man, my squat game is strong even when I'm wasted! Sinks had soap and paper towels. Looks like they have some food available late night too! I can envision live music here and it would be awesome. Such a chill bar with awesome people. Prices are good too. Don't dress up. It's not fancy.

First visit last Thursday night and I have to say I like the joint! They'd only been open a week, but seemed to have things under control. Location: Averill and Clinton. Nice area. We had to park about a block away and walk but it was a nice night for that. They have a "garage door" that motorcycles can drive right in and park. We will definitely be taking the bike next time we go! Atmosphere: The have an area out front with seating and corn hole. Fun! The bar is huge! It looks like the outside of an RV. Cool concept. They have a ton of beer on tap and good choice of liquor. There's also a Winnebago (I think) inside that is the food truck! We had the pretzel and it was huge! Would like to see live music here. There's plenty of room for a band outside. Will definitely go back!

This is a fun place with lots of character. Murals of trailers welcome you through the entrance of the beer park. To your left table seating leads to the bar area, to your right is a covered area with picnic tables and games. Walk past the bar into an outside area that is filled with colorful seating, corn hole, and picnic tables. The food truck has a variety of food, most is unhealthy, but delicious. The bathrooms align on either side with the community wash area on the outside. Beer selection is okay, I would like to see more craft type beers and maybe some rotating taps from visiting areas. They do have a lot of local beers on tap, love supporting the local breweries. Prosecco on tap was pretty cool too. Bring your dancing shoes night life is super fun and lively. The bands play great music from rock to Billy Joel and more. Dog friendly. Parking can be a challenge. There are a few spots right in the entrance area, street parking is the other option.

My girlfriend came back into town for a visit and after we had dinner elsewhere we sauntered down to the Beer Park. It's owned by the man who owns Boulder Coffee and other Real Estate. I believe this was his office and he tricked it out to be this concept. (Don't quote me but feel free to google it I believe an article was in the local D&C) He's a biker and could not find a place to roll up to so needs must and here we are. It's at the corner of Averill and Clinton in the South Wedge. It's light and bright and you see people on different sort of motorcycles rolling in and hanging out, people sitting outside at outdoor tables having a few beers and food. Than you see the massive wall of on tap beers and etc. You order food from the 1980's looking Winnebago and you walk thru to the outside again for the corn hole toss and tons of outdoor seating. It's got a very cool vibe and looks like someone even painted on the side walk some monopoly board stuff. Even if you bring friends who don't drink they have seltzer and if you don't like beer you can get cider, sangria and liquor. Although we did not partake in any food we were told by friends most of the stuff was pretty solid except the Mac & Cheese? I'd like to come back and try the drum sticks, onion rings and etc. I think it's a cool place to check out if you wanna do something different and a fun place to bring your outta town friends. It's been open only a few months (they opened in May) My only question is what do you do with this space from November 1st-April 30 when the weather can be wonky around here? Will it be a seasonal place or will they add heating lamps? If you know let me know... If your in the area you can walk it, Uber and street parking. Give it a shot I'll be back.

    The food Winnebago!

The Rochester Beer Park is an experience. A truly unique spot! Came here for drinks with a couple of girlfriends and had a blast! When you're inside, you forget that you're in the South Wedge and you feel as though you're hanging out in a trailer park (in the best way). This place has so much character and charm, it's hard not to love. Wide variety of craft beers on tap, delicious food, "yard" games, and plenty of seating. The food "trailer" boasts a menu that is reminiscent of a backyard barbecue/picnic. We split an order of tater tots and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I had such a great time here and I can't wait to come back!

Talk about a place with character!!! As soon as you walk into the park, you are transported to a 60s trailer park. Ownership did an amazing job transforming the space. A truly unique gem in Rochester. Besides the really cool environment, the RBP has a great selection of beers including local offerings. As some has mentioned they don't have a beer list which is very odd and should be addressed. Instead you need to walk down the bar and check the hanging signs yourself. I ordered the Avery Liliko'i Kepolo which is a passion fruit white ale that I have only seen in cans in the past. I was very surprised to see it on tap as it is one of my favorites. Seeing that this place is pretty new, I am sure they will work out some of the minor negatives like no beer lists. With that being said this place deserves a visit especially if you want to show out of towners a unique watering hole!

Prices are outrageous. $10 for a can of High Noon. This is Rochester, not Hong Kong. Draft beer prices are similar.

In the courtyard area, but not the interior bar or lawn that you must access by entering the bar/restaurant. But not to worry, there's great seating in the courtyard area!

Inside, it's a big space, and it got busy fast even when we arrived around 5 p.m. on a Thursday. Turns out it was Trivia Night, which we hadn't planned on, but a nice surprise. If you've got friends who don't drink beer, there are other options. Just don't expect much from the margarita it tasted like it was from a can and was a pretty small pour. I tried a strawberry sour beer (can't remember the exact name), and it was excellent. One friend had the kombucha, and another went for the margarita. We also ordered wings and two pizzas to share. A heads-up on the wings: they're not pre-sauced--they come with sauce on the side. I'd recommend asking for extra, along with a side of what I think was house-made blue cheese. We tried the Cajun Hot Honey and DoughBoys sauces--the latter had a kind of honey mustard vibe. I believe they brine the wings, smoke them, and coat them in rice flour. They came out hot, super crispy. Be aware before you chomp down. We shared two pizzas: the Spicy Sausage and the Truff Daddy, which had cheese, truffle oil, mushrooms, and more. Both were solid picks, and between the three of us, we only had two slices left by the end. Ordering is easy--you can scan a QR code or just walk up to the counter. The staff was lovely and super helpful. Trivia Night was a blast. We only stayed for two rounds and even managed to win a couple of free beer tokens. That was cool! You can make reservations online, but we just walked in and found a table with no issue. Parking is available on the street or in a lot behind the buildings. All in all, I'll definitely be back.

This is the best for folks who like to bring their pups everywhere and I wish I had known sooner. I also heard they have a rockin' weeknight karaoke, and I know my partner and I will be hitting that up at some point in the near future. This is your standard Monroe Ave dive (not the diviest there is but divey nevertheless) and it fits in great with the rest of the Monroe scene. I went with a raspberry vodka soda and it was perfectly strong, made by a super friendly bartender who was attentive to everyone seated. I will for sure be back for drinks with friends when I am in the area (and to try some food!)

Turcotts Taproom got more than a face lift from the days it was Lola's. It got a soul transplant…read more Or maybe a soul merge. Lola's had a great run, and the well known corner real estate on Monroe Ave ( a major conduit to downtown Rochester) has had several past lives. Today's reincarnation is that of Turcotts. Turcotts belong to the same family of tap houses as Oxfords, Magpie's, Murphy's law, and Brass (check out the Yelp reviews). Bye bye to craft martinis and burlesque nights with the scantily dressed and goth-ish lady staff. Enter stage left: mixologists with that gritty-Monroe Ave-Dude! Where have you been my whole life-being. Instant liquid compadre and confidant. Maybe because of the heavy pours, but I'm sticking to my stance of good people good drinks. Prove me wrong. And now a brief history... This multigenerational-"family"-owned network of bars lost a dear and close "family" member when the longtime manager of Oxford's passed away. As an homage to this veteran bar manager the owners approached his family and asked if they could honor the fallen by renaming Lola's after him....or more exactly his family name: Turncott! Hence, Turcotts. Cheers to this! The physical layout of this watering hole has always been a challenge. Not only for the staff but for the patrons as well. It's narrow and doesn't accommodate groups greater than two. So if you're on date night or rocking lower Monroe Ave solo; then be sure give Turcotts some play. The makeover this establishment received is a huge upgrade. Goodbye great dive bar and hello jump off spot. Generous accents of red leather trim with matte black wood trip gives the place a good attempt at being not divvy- almost reminiscent of the British turncoats!...A good checkpoint on any Monroe Ave adventure. The drinks at Turncotts are definitely on par with the neighborhood. Depending on your relationship with the mixologist behind the bar, you're gonna have that off menu specialty or you're ordering one of the staples on the cocktail menu. You'll get a good drink with any choice. Don't look for the craft beverage on tap, as they offer little that's not bottled. Bottom line: tip your bartender and enjoy life. You're either gonna kick off at Turncotts or splashdown here. That's what makes the patron mix oh so good. If you hit the magic hours between 10 and midnight, you'll definitely have a story to tell at the water cooler. Overall: great homage to a fallen friend. Decent atmosphere with decent drinks. Either we start here or end here... Either way: Tip your bartender and party on Wayne.
