a bloody drink and a plate of donuts
    Josh P.

Stopped by Sunday with 2 buddies to get bloody marys and couldn't have been happier with the results. The bloody came with 2 wings, cheese, meat, pickles ajd olives. The drink mix was some v8 and bloody mix but I didn't pay attention to what vodka they use. Drink was delicious! Came with a cream filled donut on the side. Go get you some breakfast!

Loaded Bloody Mary... not pictured- chicken wings and donut holes. AWESOME!!! Best Bloody Mary ever!!!

The ever popular questions on a Sunday - where do you want to go for a good Bloody Mary? Where do you want to go for a good Mimosa? I now have my answer! The only reason I'm not rating a 5/5 is because I didn't have a chance to order any food so I can't comment on that but I LOVED my "Tavern Fizz" - a mimosa with a splash of orange vodka and my boyfriend loved his ultimate Bloody Mary with shrimp, jerky, chicken wings, cheese and more! I also really liked the ambience of the bar. It's very open and there are lots of windows (perfect for a sunny Sunday!). The bar staff were friendly and I really enjoyed myself. Looking forward to trying some food next time!

Very nice bar at Titus Tavern. Bar is beautiful wood, perfect height and nice and deep

Love this cozy new pub at the corner of Titus and Cooper in the heart of Irondequoit. The owners John and Bucky did a wonderful job finishing it out with hunter green walls and dark wood, a beautiful fireplace, and a gorgeous wood bar that is perfect height and depth for bellying up for beer and conversation with your better half or your wing man. They have a limited menu of sandwiches provided by the Cooper DelI next door. I did not try the food, but Cooper DelI has long been know for its sandwiches, and I have eaten there and enjoyed the food on several occasions. But this is a great place to watch a game or just catch up with an old friend. The walls are lined with Irondequoit memorabilia from days gone by, a lacrosse stick hangs proudly over the fireplace. Young girlfriends sipping wine, a table of older women, and several other mixed groups were enjoying the atmosphere here on a cold Thursday night in March. They have a nice mix of local and well known drafts available including Dogfish Head, Ithaca Cascazilla (a personal favorite) and Guinness to name just a few, and reasonably priced at $4.50 pint. They also have a respectable wine selection, and I noticed that the red wine was served in nice oversize wine glasses which many will appreciate. Music is not too loud and allows for easy conversation. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained...it's a great little spot that was sorely needed in Irondequoit, a nicer, more upscale alternative to the grittier neighbor Murph's across the street. Titus Tavern has the charm and warmth that were sorely lacking in the cavernous and short lived Copper Grill around the corner. Parking is a bit challenging with just a small lot for about 20 cars, but it is not a large place so not too much of a challenge. I will hold off one star til I've tried some of the food, but this place is most definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in the Irondequoit area. And it is an easy walk for many Irondequoit residents. The owner John can usually be found on premises and is always happy to strike up a conversation. Check it out sometime.

First let me say Titus Tavern is a bar not a gourmet restaurant. They don't pretend to be. It's a gathering place. Six or so TV's to placate the sport fans. The staff is friendly. Many customers are familiar with each other. The ambience is styled after Irondequoit sports. We just go there on Sundays for for their Signature Bloody Mary's. You don't need lunch. (see photo). Honestly we never sampled the Pub food. All I can say is the Deli is a busy place during the week.

The food menu is fairly limited, but it was all prepared at Cooper Deli next door, which is always good.

Last night we dined for the fourth time at the Union Tavern. We got to meet the owner, a charming and friendly woman who made us feel so welcomed. My wife had the Lobster Roll...served on a Brioche hamburger roll rather than the typical New England roll...it was plentiful, cold and delicious as always! Her Merlot was served very generously and she loved it...I'm not a wine fan so I couldn't offer up an opinion. For the first time I had the Grilled Cheese with Tomato and Bacon...so delish as were the Pub Fries that came with it. And best of all, the bill was $30 to $40 less than it would be next door (where we eat quite often) or across the street. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the company of several other friendly customers and the bar staff. A thoroughly enjoyable Friday night at one of our newest favorite neighborhood-type establishments...please give them a try!!

I ordered a ricotta & olive oil dip with Italian bread. Turns out they were out of olive oil and bread, it came dry and with pita chips instead. I sent it back and then had to struggle with the waitress to take it off my bill, since I had never touched the dish. The place feels run down. They had advertised a Fireplace seating. Well, the fireplace was boarded up and had junk in front of it. This was all too bad because I organize a monthly dinner for a group and had planned on taking them here, but, I won't go back again.

Local (finger lakes ) wineries are the focus here and I love that! Bottles, single pours, and themed flights are available, as well as a make your own flight option which you don't often see! There is also thoughtfully curated local beer/cider selection , both on draft and canned on the menu. Small bites/appetizers are available and our table enjoyed the charcuterie board and a couple of the very big pretzels. All was very tasty. Owned by a husband and wife-the husband was meeting patron on the night we went. He definitely is enthusiastic and has a lot of fun ideas that they hope to get rolling. It is quite open and spacious and has a cozy casual vibe. There was a jazz musician playing which was relaxing and added to the atmosphere. They have a big bar also and ample seating inside and out. We chose to sit outside and the view was of the parking lot so you can people watch if you're standing up. The vines along the deck fence were in full bloom so we at least got some privacy. And they had a 1 man band he was pleasant to listen to. So anyway our waiter came over with our menus and we asked for 2 ice waters with lemon and I got a moscato too. The drinks came out pretty quickly. I ordered the flatbread Caprese pizza it was good and it was small which was good for me because I was able to finish it all. And he got the chicken panini and he said it was good too. However, they only had 1 working bathroom so that wasn't the best set of circumstances. It was a nice night and we enjoyed ourselves.
