Booking with Star, I got regular updates on where the shuttle was, when the passengers were picked up, and when they were dropped off at their hotel - a great comfort as I live out of state. It was easy to book and arrange for a direct bill (instead of booking on a personal credit card); Hank worked with us to organize our reservations and was helpful and courteous. From now on, we will ONLY book with Star!

The company paid for my logging, car rental, and flights between Winnipeg (YWG) and Rochester (RST), through Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP). I flew in late at night. Both flights were on time. It's quite the size change between the three airports. MSP Terminal 1 is perhaps twice the size of YWG. RST is maybe a third of YWG. RST is a small airport. It has two runways. Delta and American Airlines fly out of it, with the occasional Sun Country flight here and there. Why is it an international airport? It's due to the Mayo Clinic roughly 10 km north of this airport. It's considered a hub for Mayo Clinic MedAir. Dignitaries would often fly into RST to get care at the Mayo Clinic when I was a resident of Rochester. RST is barely in Rochester. It's next door to Stewartville, which is a rather small city. These days, the latter city is famous for Jimmy's salad dressings and dips. I remember trying to drive northbound for the first time from the airport to the north end of Rochester. It was pitch-black. I had high beams on my rental car all the way until I finally had street lights on highway 63. I recently returned to this airport to check it out. It is nicer than when I was a resident of Rochester. There are clear signs indicating where to go to check in to a flight (ticketing) and where baggage claim was. I remember flying home to Winnipeg after the interview. There was a roof leak at the terminal. There was a huge bucket sitting on the carpeted floor. I am hoping that the roof has been fixed. It's one of the lasting impressions that I have of this airport. Parking remains cheap. It's a $60 maximum parking for a week. The daily maximum is $10. I last parked here over the Christmas holidays eons ago. I returned on New Year's Day to a ton of snow on my car and took some time to clear it off. Good times! For car rentals, you get Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National. There was clear labelling to fetch your car from the rental parking lot. I remember clearing security quickly. It's an advantage flying out of a small airport. It feels more efficient dealing with a smaller set of travellers. I don't recall ever getting any food or drinks when I flew out of RST. I don't think there's a major eatery. It doesn't matter. There has been more development in the area, from hotels to eateries. You'd probably do better getting food nearby before flying out. It was nice to drop by and see this airport again. I did a lot of reminiscing. It's definitely a much improved airport since I was last here as a traveller who resided in Rochester. (164)

I have been using their services for few months now and it has been consistently great. I spoke with Ken on phone the first couple of times, he was very nice to make a new reservation on a short notice. Making new reservations since then has been very easy and convenient - i drop them an email requesting a ride in advance (based on my travel plans. I use their services for getting to and from MSP.), i get a confirmation from them, get ride, get billed afterwards (they have my cc info in my profile in their system). Smooth. I have ridden with Mike most of the times and he is a very respectful individual, a gentleman. All of their drivers have been nice and professional. Keep it up guys!

Mixed review for me. I went on a historical tour last year as the haunted tour was full. That was…read morereally good, I learned a lot about the city, history, lots of cool sites that I would have never found on my own. My cousin who lives in town didn't know 1/2 the stuff we learned. We marked our calendars to come back for the haunted tour. Dr. Hawk takes it a bit serious for me, I was asked/told to stop talking twice (I was whispering with my cousin while masked, it was not loud). It is clear that Dr. Hawk expected everyone to sit and listen attentively to her for the full tour, I am an adult and paid for the experience as things come up I think it should be ok to quietly talk to my companion. The cemetery visits were very interesting, some good info/stories and that was fun. I believe that there is something out there but not sure how much in ghosts and some of the ghost hunting equipment and trying to talk to the spirits was a little out there for me, others seemed to enjoy it, and it was only a smaller portion of the tour. The covid practices were very good, hand sanitizer as you enter the trolley, masks covering nose and mouth. Hoped for some more stories and a little less ghost hunting. Entertaining unique night out

Jamie saved my travel day when I was traveling back to the states. My flight was canceled by AirFrance and I did not receive a notification updating me on my changed flight status. AirFrance also did not rebook my flight. Jamie called me the night before indicating that there has been a cancelation and rebooked my flight for the same day and close to the same departing time as my previous flight. I'm grateful she was paying attention! When I got the airport not everyone else was as lucky as me. Many also did not get a notification and came to the airport unaware of the cancelation. They all were also not re scheduled. As I was happily checking my bag and making my way through security I watched as others angrily checked into a re-booking counter. I'm very happy for the service that I got from Connections. I will be using them again next time I travel!
