I have always shopped at their El Cajon location and went to this new location in Temecula. Great team and tons of product to choose from.

Armstrong is great. They're very friendly and accommodating…read more I have requested specific plants many times have gone out of their way to try and get them for me. I think the best thing about Armstrong is that they still have pony packs, meaning six packs of plants. If you go to the big box stores now you can only buy one plant at a time for instance if I want a basil plant I can get six of them in a pony packet Armstrong whereas I would have to pay almost as much for just one at the big box stores. They have San Marzano tomato plants in the springtime. Need I say more? Those are very difficult to find! Every year they give away free ladybug and sometimes free praying mantis that certain times of the year. Armstrong has been here for a long time and I'm very happy they are still here. If you are a senior be sure to ask for the senior discount. They will discount you every time.

Service was friendly and helpful, they do give a military discount, I forgot to ask the last visit. I love supporting businesses that support our armed forces and their families, so thank you! During the time while grapevine was growing (before we knew it wasn't a Thompson seedless) we also bought a Washington naval orange tree. It showed dwarf on the tag but Mike assured us it WASNT a dwarf and was a semi dwarf or standard (which is what I was looking for) no matter what the tag said! Well, now after nearly a year of care and fuss over this orange tree we pick the first orange and it is FULL OF SEEDS!!!!! So now I call Mike and tell him all that is written above and he laughs and says wow do you have bad luck!!! My bad luck was shopping at this small local nursery!!! So my husband gets on the phone. Mike stops laughing. Oh what? More fun trying to intimidate a woman? After some convo w my husband, Mike requests pics and says "he will see what he can do!" So we sent these pics to #951-679-0664, where he requested we send them. Requesting he respond to us. We haven't heard back! Based on the prior grapevines and then the orange tree being mislabeled we don't trust any kind of replacement tree but a full refund. Don't trust Mike! Here are the pics we sent to Mike. Do the right thing and refund our purchase price!!!! Based on other reviews and mine, I sure wouldn't shop here and waste any money or time and effort! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!

Adam was amazing at coordinating all the many jobs to be done. We are so pleased with the work, Mario did such a thorough job, he works hard and with precision. The concrete driveway and curbing came out so beautifully. We love our new DG pathway with the mower's edge curbing. They filled our horseshoe driveway with 3/4 crush rock and we've gotten so many compliments from our neighbors. They installed an automatic irrigation system, which makes life much easier not to have to worry about turning water off and on. We opted for single trunk Crepe Myrtle trees in every color available. They all look great and have acclimated well to their new home, even in this heat. The work was completed in three weeks. Fast, clean, reliable workmanship and just a fine young man in charge of multitasking and handling it all. There were a couple of minor issues that we easily worked through. Communication was easy and the overall price was right! Thank you Adam and your team for making our home look welcoming and improving the curb appeal!

I walked in expecting a normal trip (you know... grab one thing, leave with ten), but Ramona turned it into a VIP experience. She didn't just point me in the right direction--she practically escorted me through the wilderness of aisles like a seasoned tour guide who actually cares if you survive. Need help? She's already there. Got a question? She's three steps ahead with an answer, a backup plan, and probably a better idea than what you came in for. At one point I was convinced she might secretly run the whole store. Customer service like that is rare these days--Ramona didn't just go above and beyond, she packed a lunch and stayed there. If every Home Depot had a Ramona, bro DIY projects would be so much easier. 10/10 would get lost in the store to be rescued by her.

Very disappointing experience at Home Depot tonight. I came in around 7:00 PM to purchase lumber…read moreand several other large items. My cart was completely loaded with lumber, so I naturally went toward the registers by the oversized/lumber exit where a cart like this can actually fit. I was told by the manager that those registers were closed for the day and that I needed to take my fully loaded lumber cart through the regular checkout aisles. Of course, the cart didn't fit. Instead of simply opening a register near the lumber exit, an employee had to help me by writing down every single item on a piece of paper so they could ring everything up at another register. What bothered me the most was the manager's attitude. There was no effort to help or find a reasonable solution just, "Sorry, those registers are closed for the day." Thankfully, another employee actually stepped in and helped me. I'm a paying customer purchasing a large amount of merchandise. I shouldn't be made to feel like helping me is an inconvenience, especially when I'm buying items that are specifically difficult to take through a normal checkout lane. I also have to say that the way I was spoken to left me wondering whether I would have been treated the same way if I weren't Hispanic. I don't make that accusation lightly, but no customer should leave a store feeling talked down to or treated as though their business doesn't matter. Home Depot needs to do better when it comes to customer service and making sure managers are actually willing to help customers especially customers purchasing lumber and oversized items.

A few days ago, they had several mid-century style pieces of furniture that were new. Seems like most of the furniture are manufacturer closeouts, or dent and scratches, This Habitat ReStore amazes me, because it is in a nice modern industrial building, which I have never seen Habitat occupy. The others I have been to , are in the oldest most run down buildings in low rent areas. However, as nice as this building is, you look way up at the ceiling, there is no AC or other cooling system. It was over 100 degrees when I bought this chair, outside temp. They leave the front door open for the breeze but you feel all the hot air, that is hotter than the temp inside the building. The employee at the cash register, near the open door where all the hot air was coming in, said "Yep, no AC". But if you didn't have air circulating, even hot air, it would be a greater hotter oven. They have a separate room, where they sell small stuff, not even related to building or home stuff, like bike helmets. The thing about this store, the things they sell here are newer, and not used and sometimes broken and chipped, like the other Habitat ReStores have. The donations come from manufacturers or commercial businesses rather than individual donors that are remodeling their homes, or got a new piece.

I would advise if there is a specific item you are seeking come early in the day because popular items go fast! There are bargains to be had if you time it right. I was correct in assuming at the scarcity of items available. However, I was able to pick up some toys for Toys for Tots. I buy toys throughout the year so I have a bundle to donate when collection time comes around. So my visit here was not wasted. My purchases were under $20, which kept me within budget. The employees here are always so nice & welcoming.
