I saw some negative reviews and was surprised. I have had excellent results as a consignor. I do find that most of the people who get upset with any auction house have unrealistic expectations as to what their car is worth. Bidders will make sure they are at the auction for a good car. I drive back and forth between the different January auction houses to make sure I am there for good cars and to watch my cars drive through. The other bidders I am friends with do the same thing. I have one recommendation. Keep a spare set of keys to your consigned cars with you. Stuff happens, be prepared.

If your looking for an old car cheap it's a good place but not for anything 2008 or newer really overpriced and a lot of salvaged cars. My most recent purchase 2004 Mercedes ML350 runs good., 2009 Versa hatch from 2 years ago still running. Also use a free vin check. Some cars had Mileage discrepancies.

So, my review is only from the perspective of attending. If you're looking for a great venue for you as an individual who enjoys cars of all makes, models, age, etc., a couple young or old out to have a fun day together or for a family outing, this is a great venue. To start with it is huge in size and it has quite a diversity of vehicles to see and experience. It is very commercialized with an endless number of vendors renting space to hawk to you products and services . . . yes products and services related to automobiles, but also non-automobiles (home window replacement contractors, wall art, living and dining room furniture, tattoo artists, etc.). If you're coming for that stuff, great! If your coming primarily for an auto themed auction, you've been warned. I'd return again in the future.

In November of 2017, I entered into an agreement with the shop manager at Brown's Classic Autos in…read moreScottsdale, AZ. They agreed to perform custom body work, paint, install new interior and re-assemble my 1956 Chevy Truck and get it ready to show. Brown's was to perform all labor and I was to order and pay for all parts and materials needed to complete the build. The chassis was already modified and powder coated with new front and rear suspension, disc brakes, steering, engine, transmission and rear end. Right off they wanted to replace body parts instead of working the original pieces. Work was often inconsistent and inferior. They were untruthful about every aspect of their work. The shop manager often wouldn't return calls so I started communicating with one of the mechanics for progress reports. Brown's finally got my vehicle ready for a show in October of 2019, but it had multiple things wrong. I was so disgusted with their work that I took it to a different shop in December to be re-built and re-painted. When the new shop took it apart, they found numerous hidden problems. I can't and won't recommend Brown's Classic Autos to anyone who wants to have their vehicle built or repaired there. It was the worst experience I've had in 45 years of dealing with auto shops. They are not accountable to the customer and I only received one accounting of their work in the eighteen months it was there and it was horribly inaccurate. Brown's Classic Autos should not be in the custom build or repair business, their shop operates in a very unprofessional manner and I don't know how they stay in business.
