Normally I really like this place. It's a bit of a drive but I like the idea of the free vacuums and the wash is reasonably priced. However, I had called earlier in the day to see about their hours. The attendant told me very confidently that they are open till 9pm no matter the weather. I pulled up at 8pm on the dot after I got off work on a rather drizzly evening only to find that it was already closed for the evening. If they have set hours they should stick to them. I can't believe this place only has 2 1/2 stars. It is true that a few years ago the machine where you pay problematic. They seem to have resolved that. Someone complained about the attendance, not scrubbing the bugs off your car. They have buckets and scrub brushes for you to do that yourself. If your car is particularly problematic, before you go into the wash. They've got excellent vacuum cleaners for the inside of your car, a car, rug, cleaning machine, which is great, and free window cleaner, and microfiber washcloths. There is just no beating this deal for five dollars. And it's only three dollars on Tuesdays! have some little tiny hairspray for those who really want to detail their car. We have several car washes to choose from pretty much all in the same area, but I must say I love this establishment. the employees are hand on if you have an issue that quick to respond and resolve it they also go the extra mile as far as I even had one gentleman put extra shine on my tires and dry my mats for me Also they have daily specials. A great car wash conveniently located on my way to work. I very much like the 'automated wash + DIY free vacuums' business model. In fact, I gave Pelican Point Car Wash out on the edge of Metairie 5 stars. They're truly a class act there. Rock & Roll replicates the experience, but failed at perfection. They've got a pre-wash station to help loosen the dried-on bug carcasses all over your grille, bumper, and mirrors, but the water in the station was very muddy and not particularly soapy. It did the job, but I felt like I was exchanging bugs for a thin layer of silt across my car. Sure, it was about to be washed off, but it was off-putting. Car washes are as cheap as $5 for a basic wash paid via an automated drive-up machine. A local teenager guides your wheels into the wash area, gives your car a little spritzing, and in you go. I spent 15 minutes at the vacuum station and cleaned every nook and cranny of my car's interior. That alone would have cost me $5 in quarters at a coin-operated car wash. And unlike the vacs at some places, these things could suck the rust off a trailer hitch - which I much appreciate. My car ended up looking great even with the most basic wash. I'll most definitely be back. Also, the rating could be easily elevated to 5 stars if the pre-wash station improves for future visits. read more

I've used this place a few times. Each time, I noticed the kid who's supposed to scrub the bugs off your car just doesn't do it. As for the vacuums, they're strong but the end caps are circular which makes the vacuuming process take much more time than it should. Also, I'd be more inclined to use their services if they offered some kind of monthly plan for unlimited washes. read more

I've had an okay experience at this car wash although I do have some concerns, most pertaining the workers. It is EXTREMELY hot outside and the workers look exhausted and deprived of water. I used the restroom and there was absolutely no ventilation in the restrooms, quite stuffy! I'm more than sure this place can do better by their workers and I pray they do! this car wash is ok if ur just are buying a one time wash , 3 times i tried to buy a package or buy 2 get one free ,the machine never works, So u have to get help. Sometimes help comes to u . Usually U have to go to them . Sometimes u get a gift card sometimes u get a receipt thats SUPPOSE TO SCAN . All 3 times I bought ONE I HAD TO GET HELP EVERYTIME I returned & tried to redeem my washes I had to get help . The last time i tried to buy a buy two get one free the machine didnt work . Nobody came out so I went to them , When I get there they are playing hacky sack . I get treated like im bothering them . Im rushed off & handed a receipt . I ASK NO CARD ? Told no just scan this receipt . Obviously Next time i return it doesnt work .When i left today I am told next time to just come in cause this receipt wont scan . After this next wash ive paid for I wont be back , I have 2 side notes to add . 1rst I want to apologize for losing my temper to the last guy trying to help me Ryan (i think ) . Can't believe it's so close to work! Super convenient. I do wish they had some sort of car wash monthly plan and some air pumps as well. Overall experience was fine and my car is squeaky clean. It's self-service so not much to say about customer service, but an attendant does spray your car with bug cleaner prior to going through the car wash. read more

Probably the best car wash in St Bernard. It would probably equal to Pelican or something similar. I like the prewash area for the extra dirty tires n grill, they have two lanes so a slow mo fo wont hold you. The wash time could be a little slower to get it a little cleaner but it was good. I like that all of the Vacuum area's are covered so you can vac out your car and not get sun burned. Overall good place no big complaints. read more

Every time I get my vehicle washed here it is fine, my kids enjoy the lights and the colored soaps; but I'm writing this review to express concern for the employees. The summer heat in Louisiana is not nice, and it seems that the manager of this facility is just as disrespectful as the heat. Of course it is an outside job and the sun cannot be factored out, but on many occasions I've asked the workers if they had somewhere cool to sit and take a break while offering them a bottle of water, and they answer with "not really." Lastly the bathrooms here need serious attention, some sort of A/c or even a fan ventilation system would be a good start. If this was me working here with no cool place to take a break I would not be thrilled. read more

I've been to rock n roll a many times in other seasons and had good experience's each time but what witnessed yesterday needs to be addressed. The inhumane treatment of the employees there is unacceptable. When I pulled up to enter the car wash I witnessed two male employees dousing themselves with water, their shirts already drenched with sweat. Mind you it is and was over 90*, extremely humid and the workers had little shade. When the man motioned for me to pull forward I could visibly see his hand trembling and his face was beet red, these are signs of impending heat stroke. I rolled down my window and asked if he had a cool place to take a break and he replied "sort of" , I looked behind him and saw a concrete office structure but couldn't see any ventilation inside. I went through the car wash, I liked all the lights and colored soap, it was a nice extra touch(if only this extra consideration was shown to the employees). My real horror began once I had to use the restroom. The employee told me I was allowed to use the restroom because it adhered to the "women and children only" policy, wow sexist much? Once I opened the door to the restroom I was greeted by a wall of heat, it was easily 10+ degrees hotter inside. The restroom was fully concrete turning it into an oven, there was zero ventilation, I can't imagine what these poor men go through daily here. They literally have no respite from the unrelenting summer heat. It is inhumane to treat your employees this way, I will be boycotting Rock n roll and telling others of their unsafe and callous treatment of the workers. The owner should be ashamed! These people pay your bills and you leave them to exhaust in the heat! read more

Hi my name is Yolanda and I went through the car wash and it blow off my left wind shield wiper and when I talked with the mtg he said well I have cameras in the washer and can tell if you turned on wipers I said YES lets look at that then he said that he needs to check my fusses in my car to see if my motor is out, he said it was and that it's not there fault that it went out during the wash, i spoke with him again to find out who else I could speak with and he said uhhhh I'm it. I then went to a my auto dealer and he said it's not the motor and the motor is fine that some piece was broken off and will coast $50.00 dollars to fix it I called him today at 11:55am and talk to him about it and he said I have other customers to help and he would have the owner call me.
