I believe that's because the wash is moving faster and not letting the car rinse off. Would you get out of a shower before you got all of the soap out of your hair? When I arrived at my appointment time, I was promptly greeted and invited to wait inside in the AC (thank God) while my car was washed. I left my car where it was and went in. The waiting area is simple but comfortable with a TV playing some recent NBA game. It wasn't long before I was being called back out because my car was done! It was surprisingly fast, and my car looked great! I had even asked if they would apply a tire dressing I had brought myself, and they did it with no problem and no extra charge. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and value of On The Spot, and I'll be using them for my regular car washes. I think I'll explore the detailing at some point too. For some people, this wouldn't be too bad, but considering I travel up and down the US at least twice a year and have two dogs who love to shed, it was a pretty big ask for anyone to tackle that interior. Was it more than I wanted to pay? Yes. Did it need it, and so I agreed to it? Also yes. I called and was able to get in the same day that I wanted to sell the car. It took almost an hour and a half to really get in there and get it all cleaned out. However, everything looked so beautiful when it was completed. I brought a book with me to wait in their nice, air-conditioned waiting room. I'm not going to say that the car looked as good as new, but after 11 years with two crazy dogs and 154K miles?
