Before I booked Rocknevents, I had interviewed with a couple of other planners. I already knew that booking a planner was the right thing for me to do, and for anyone who is considering it, do your research! Hiring a planner is definitely an investment and I think a luxury to have - so make sure you get all of the information you need before doing so. With that being said, Rocknevents stood out to me the most during this initial selection process. What made Rocknevents stand out for me, specifically with my initial call with Jenny, was the obvious passion her company had for producing - not just planning - events. It was clear that the goal is to make their client's dream wedding come to life in a way that was true to the client and not whatever the newest wedding trends on Pinterest were. Also, during the initial call, Jenny focused a lot on getting to know me personally and then figuring out my tastes from there as opposed to going through a checklist of standard questions. I have to make it clear that Rocknevents is an entire company - and while Jenny speaks with everyone initially - there are many others involved in the process (more on that later). We had a little bit over a year to plan a wedding, which was nicely spaced out in different phases. Although the start was rocky due to a last minute transition between planners, my fiance (now husband) and I felt much better when Katie, Jackie, and Scarlett got things moving for us. They truly gave 5-star service. We had secured our venue & vendors well before our start date thanks to all of them and there was little left for us to worry about logistically. It was obvious they were working diligently behind the scenes to secure everything for us and were also very responsive via email throughout the process. This is where I found much of the value in having a planner, because I absolutely did not have the time to research & negotiate with vendors myself! We were also very happy with the vendor selections and I enjoyed the decks put together by the RnE team as it made choosing vendors fun and simple! There was never a question that went unanswered with the team. Jackie & Scarlett took a LOT of the stress away from us on the days leading up to the wedding. The tools they provided and shared with us were super useful and helpful as well. With the way the wedding day turned out, our expectations were exceeded and everything was executed to perfection - our guests definitely felt it too! Thanks to Rocknevents for making our wedding day unforgettable and something I will forever cherish!

Rock N' Events executed our wedding just like how we've imagined it! We had so much fun at our wedding because of this awesome team. We were hesitant about hiring a wedding planner at first, but we are so glad that we did!! I interviewed multiple wedding planners and eventually decided to go with Rock N' Events. I spoke to Jenny for consultation. She gave a very detailed walkthrough of the services they provide. This person overflows with energy. Talking to her makes you excited for your own wedding. She patiently listened to my expectations and concerns, and gave me her honest recommendations and advices even BEFORE we decided to work with them. She introduced us to one of the coordinators and best human beings ever, Genevieve. Genevieve was absolutely AMAZING!!! She is always so positive and enthusiastic. I was dreading this planning process, but she made it super enjoyable. We worked with her for almost a year, not once was she late for phone call or in-person meetings. It was also extremely fun talking to her, in general. The meetings were like casual hangouts, where I'm just describing my dream wedding to a close friend. She's responsive, organized, never took more than a day to finish what's asked to be done. There were so much details to keep track of, and she was totally on top of it. The RNE team is responsible and detail-oriented. Their ability to execute is OFF THE CHART. We were so well taken care of on the day of the wedding. Ayumi and Genevieve were always there ready for us whenever we needed help, food, or drinks. Ayumi also perfectly bustled my dress for me when I couldn't find anyone at the moment. They juggled everything on the big day. Our guests were well-attended to and they were impressed with all the details the RNE team paid attention to. My bridesmaid even said this is definitely the wedding planner team they will use in the future!

My husband and I had our wedding in October 2019 and with Jenny Chang as our Event Director, it was the happiest day of our lives (cliché, I know). Everything was more beautiful than what I could have possibly imagined and it exceeded expectations by far. I'm very delayed in writing this review, but we honestly could not have pulled off the wedding without the love and support of Jenny Chang and her team. As busy executives, we decided to pick Jenny as our wedding planner because she showed initiative, follow-through, and consistently pinged us to follow-up and close the loop on action items. She's organized and a do-er, to say the least! It really felt like she was taking on the emotional burden of planning the wedding and shielded us from unnecessary interactions. She also maintains an organization system with thorough transparency, so should we *want* to peek in on the details, we would also have that option. During kick-off, Jenny flew to San Francisco and got to know us as a couple. In sum, we probably planned the wedding in less than 10 months! During the final 3-4 months leading up to the wedding, we set up a cadence of weekly meetings. Jenny was thoroughly prepared during our weekly sessions and usually had a deck prepared to walk through certain decisions to make during the wedding planning journey (vendors, design, etc) so I only needed to quickly decide on high-level decisions. In short, we got it all done thanks to her help. The best part is that Jenny mixes fun and professionalism in what she does, so she is a consistent cheerleader and emotional support system -- you can trust that you're in good hands. Rocknevents is already at a 99%, but if someone twisted my arm to Iist out some small areas of improvement to get to 100%, I'd briefly suggest: (a) have 2-3 sets of eyes on the final address lists on Minted and wedding website so that the clients aren't worrying about small typos, (b) keep points of contact from the Jenny Chang team to 2-3 and introduce them with photos in a deck at the beginning of the journey to avoid unnecessary confusion (c) continue the great work of sourcing and vetting vendors (your Los Angeles vendor database is solid, but your SF Bay Area vendors list of makeup artists and DJs could be more expansive). Again, I know Jenny is a perfectionist so she'd want to know these small details! Big picture though: Jenny Chang does an amazing job managing her teams, but my husband and I both agree that where she *really* shines and where it's worth every single dollar ($$$) spent is when it comes to the getting to know a couple and designing a one-of-a-kind wedding experience unique to them. Jenny Chang is truly talented in visual design and advocating and making a couple feel heard and special. It's rare to say we were the "first" ones to get married at a particular site, but in this case, it's true -- Jenny designed an epic site in northern California and secured us a spot by a waterfall, a beautiful forest grove overlooking the rolling hills of northern California, all timed perfectly with the sunset (photo attached). The florals were a 10/10, the dance floor design with the elegant sweeping curtains a 10/10, she killed it with finding the PERFECT east-meets-west caterers and folks told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, and Jenny rolled with our last-minute decisions to find an ice luge and photo booth. Jenny is a cheerleader for love and you can tell that if she takes you on as her client, she will pour her heart and soul into ensuring you have your dream wedding. I won't ruin the surprise for any future brides or grooms reading this, but Jenny is very thoughtful (and playful) and loves sprinkling little surprises (and gifts) throughout the journey. She also has a BOSSLADY mode and goes to bat for you re: vendors and contracts when needed. She's as dynamic as it gets. I'm eager to work with RocknEvents and Jenny Chang in future endeavors, whatever they may be. Creativity and love is at the heart of what they do! 5 stars for RocknEvents and Jenny Chang (and her lovely day-of planners, including Jackie) -- we love you! Thank you thank you. :)

BRIDES AND GROOMS BEWARE - CHECK THE REVIEWS - THEY ARE NEARLY ALL FROM VENDORS & NOT CLIENTS. DO NOT HIRE JENNY CHANG OR ROCK N EVENTS. My fiance and I hired Rock N Events and Jenny Chang to do our wedding for October 2019. It is difficult for me to write this review as I wanted things to turn out amicably and for the best, yet Jenny & her team have left us no choice. Jenny was the most expensive wedding planner that I spoke to - an investment of $22k - which my fiance and I were willing to pay as we are a multicultural couple planning a destination wedding in Los Angeles when we live in Boston - it was an investment we were willing to make and we were under the impression that Jenny & her team were capable of planning and executing our wedding. At a $22,000 investment you expect the best. At this investment level I expected a team who knew what they were doing, knew the best vendors and also were able to guide us on all decisions. I was so wrapped up in Jenny's charismatic energy that I naively believed her despite the advice of those around me.This is a time in my life and my fiancé's life that is supposed to be fun, unfortunately we feel fully deceived and now we are left with $10,000+ down the drain. The following is a list of only some of the heartbreaking details: - First and foremost we were told that EVERYTHING would be kept track of in a "journey system" which is really just a google tracking sheet. When we inquired as to why it was NEVER updated the response was "oh, we don't really use that" -I reached out to Jenny several times to let her know how upset I was. The 3rd time, I cried to her and she told me she would come up with a better "system" to help us. Well the "system" she came up w/ was having one of her interns send us a weekly email update - this is not a system - this is her handing off work she no longer wanted to deal with. -Jenny and team also messed up our save the dates - they didn't input my fiancé's family addresses and tried to blame Minted on this. They were the ones who recommended Minted and they said that Minted often messed up - which boggles me because if they mess up a lot why do you use them? Also they kept trying to blame Minted for this situation yet Minted showed me exactly what Jenny and her team did and how the mistake was made. Because of Jenny's mistake, my fiancé's family in India might not get their visa's in time for the wedding and they took zero responsibility. - the vendors that Jenny "found" for us were not in line with what she said she would find, forcing me and my fiancé' to take time away from our business & start a process of finding our own vendors. Then when we sent her vendors we found - we asked her what she thought and she would say things like "they look nice" vs. vetting them the way that a planner should. - I told Jenny that I wanted an Israeli food caterer & she came back to me with a Jordanian caterer and Kosher catering options. Neither of these make any sense for me culturally as I clearly stated that I am neither Jordanian/that I keep kosher. If you are a wedding planner of such high caliber - you should know and understand your couple's preferences & cultural background. -We were often handed off to her team of "executives" - where if you look at some of Rock N Events Glassdoor reviews you will find that many of these are intern roles. The straw that broke the camels back for us was when we confronted Jenny that we wanted to part ways. She declared she had a process for this already making us realize that this kind of thing probably happens often to her. She promised us a partial return of the deposit as she admitted to dropping the ball on the above items. That promise was made on APRIL 17TH and it is now May 13th & the $5,000 check has yet to arrive. It gets worse. We sent her an email expressing our concern that we have not heard back nor received the check. She has not responded. We sent her and her team a text message & we hear nothing. She has vanished. All we have is an email confirmation from Monica Alvarez who also promised a return of $5,000 check and said "its going out tomorrow" that was sent on April 29th. We emailed Jenny one last time to let her know that we felt it was our duty as bride and groom to be to let other couples know about our terrifying experience and we never want someone to go through what we have been through - yet she has gone radio silent. My fiancee and I have now hired Leora of Best Bride and our experience has been amazing. Leora has done several weddings at Hummingbird Nest and told us that the quote that was given to us by Jenny was not even possible to be done at this venue and that we likely have to double our budget. You can imagine how shocking and stressful this was for me. Jenny's team has gone radio silent, and have failed to follow through on their promise to make the situation right after admitting to us that they dropped the ball and messed up several times.

Jenny and her awesome crew pulled off my party for 100 in 3 days! Florals, photo opp, games and all the tropical vibes. Jasmine worked with me right way and was able to capture my vision within minutes. No time to waste? Want professional, experienced and enthusiastic partners? Want to feel taken care of? Rockdimension will knock you and your event out of the park.

Our team had the chance to work with Rock N' Event's coordinators at our customer's wedding and they were amazing. They were extremely organized and had the entire day planned out perfectly. Their entire staff were overflowing with a positive and enthusiastic energy the entire wedding day. In addition, they made sure to address everyone's wants and needs that day, including our photography team.

From the moment Jenny picked up her phone 1 year ago, I knew immediately that she would be our wedding planner. I've always had a mini anxiety attack when speaking to someone on the phone, but she blew my nervousness away and asked me a lot of questions about our dream wedding without overwhelming me. The best part was that she understood our vision right away, even when it took me so long to find the words to explain what we like. My now-husband was skeptical at first because he knows I make decisions too quickly sometimes, but even he knew that Jenny will be our one and only fairy god-sister :) Her bubbly personality is addictive, guys. My husband and I had such a wonderful time discussing all the wedding details/picking out vendors with Jenny/reading her super bubbly emails. Jenny and I even came up with a way to lessen my husband's stress when we had to push him to order his suits, find a band, purchase event insurance, etc. :) Now that's skills. No matter how angry and bridezilla-y I got with some vendors, she would immediately let us know that there is nothing for us to be concerned about and that her team would take care of everything. I cannot believe how beautiful our wedding was. The decorations were so dreamy, and the timing of all the events was perfect. Although there was a slight delay during the cocktail hour, Rock N' Events team used their handy-dandy walkie talkie to coordinate with each other to make sure the timeline shifted correctly and smoothly. Our parents and our guests even said that they have never been to such beautiful wedding before, and we got a lot of "Who's your wedding planner!?" and "How can I contact Rock N' Events in the future!?" from our guests. So, if you are ever in need for a wonderful wedding planner or an event planner, you HAVE to contact Rock N' Events! As my husband said in his toast, "When I tell you to get a wedding planner, what I mean is you need to get Jenny. If you can't get Jenny, I guess you'll have to find another coordinator but I swear, there's no one else like her". I can't wait to come back to Rock N' Events for our future baby shower, wedding anniversary party, our future children's wedding, etc etc. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding come true, Jenny!! We can't thank you enough!!

Rock N' Events truly rocks! I was fortunate enough to work with Jenny and her team recently when Genevieve reached out about a styled shoot planned and envisioned by Rock N' Events. It was one of the best experiences of this type I've had because: a. Everyone was treated with respect and all contributing vendors had a hand in the overall creative - even though it was Jenny's vision. b. the logistics were on point and it all went down without a hitch c. all the vendors they worked with were real pros with so much talent! Especially the photographer and the florist! d. I had the honor of being a bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding, which was coordinated by Rock N' Events. It was by far the most stunning, funny, heartwarming wedding I have ever attended. The decorations and colors clearly defined the bride's personality and reflected everything I knew she loved. There was a grand and gorgeous tent with pink drapes, and underneath it were many beautifully dressed tables with tall & short vases filled with a perfect mix of lovely pastel flowers. The ambience of the room amped up the wedding celebration by bring romance, love, and warmth. At that time I remember telling myself, I definitely want Rock N' Events to plan MY wedding. They knew exactly what my friend wanted and they created a space that made the wedding very memorable. I didn't think such beautiful creation was possible. Before the ceremony, a few of the bridesmaid needed last min emergency items such as bobby pins, dress tape, hair spray, q tips...etc I think Jenny had a gadgets for everything, she was PREPARED!!! The rest of the wedding flow smoothly, her team was there to guide everyone, the guests were entertained and happily socializing in between intermission. As for the rest of the event, I just remember how much we laughed, danced, and goof off till later into the evening. Jenny's team stayed and cleaned everything up; making sure that the venue was taken care of. This team definitely impressed me. I felt they went over and beyond their way to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to plan an event, especially a personalize wedding that says "This is my style". read more

Jenny and her team did a fantastic job planning one of my closest friend's wedding. The bride just showed Jenny what she wanted and was stress-free throughout the entire planning process. Not saying the bride was totally stress free, but anything related to preparing for the wedding, Jenny took care of it! Every aspect of the wedding day was perfect and well organized. Jenny and her team covered my sister and brother-in-law's wedding. I must say that their dedication and commitment to a marvelous wedding was exceptional. Nothing short of Phenomenal. Being called "professional" is a monotonous and boring term for a reputable wedding planner like Jenny. She exceeds all expectations and will deliver nothing but 110% and then some. If you want a wedding go with another "professional" wedding planner. If you want a one-of-a-kind experience that only you and your closest loved ones can enjoy, go with Jenny. Jen was truly the rock of my whole wedding experience. As a perfectionist, I wanted to make sure I found a wedding planner who was not only an amazing listener but someone who could see my vision and turn it into something even beyond my expectations. Jen did exactly that. She made sure that during every step of the way, she was informing me of what was going on and giving me more and more ideas and options all aligned with the vision I had for my wedding. She really understands the needs of a bride and her positive energy radiated throughout this whole process. She always made me feel calm and went above and beyond to insure I was getting everything I needed and felt relaxed during this process. I know a lot of friends who got married and said their wedding planning experience was the most stressful experience in their life. I can't relate thanks to Jen. She turned my wedding experience into a dream and really had my back from the first initial meeting, to the design process, rehearsals , all the way to the amazing wedding day. She was truly my fairy godmother! It's rare to find someone as genuine, creative and caring as Jen. She truly radiate such joy in any situation that you can't help but feel positive and taken care of around her. On my wedding day, Jen coordinated my wedding beautifully checking in on me often and informing me of the next step when it was needed. I could tell my happiness was her number one priority. Jen truly made me feel like a bride and her attentiveness to my every need really showed me what an amazing multitasker she is. My family really enjoyed having her coordinating the wedding as they kept on saying how amazingly kind, efficient and positive she is. Jenny and her team really rocked the event that I went to. The wedding was like it was ripped out of a page in a fairytale book. Usually, wedding planning can be a stressful process, even for a Maid of Honor. Rock N'Events put together a stress-free day and made my job easier. All I had to do was hold the bride's dress and say my toast. I would most definitely recommend Rock N'Events for anyone's wedding or other events. Keep rockin' it! read more

I have a lot of good things to say about Rock N' Events and Jenny Chang. Believe me that when you invest into Rock N' Events you can expect what is on the contract and more...they definitely go above and beyond. I had Jen help with half of my wedding vendors since I had already booked a few prior to contacting her. However, as time went by I found myself asking for more & more help and Rock N' Events came through. Jen said "I am not going to cookie cut things" and after having had our wedding I see that she keeps her word. Long story short, working with them made my life so much easier and our wedding stunning! read more

One word describes Rock N' Events...AMAZING!! I am an owner of Snapstation Events and I have had the privilege of working closely with Jenny and her amazing team rockstars at Rock N' Events. The amount of detail that goes into a Rock N' wedding is extraordinary. Down to the minute timelines and schedules are provided to all vendors and pulled off flawlessly. Seeing Jenny and her team work behind the scenes speaking on radios, cueing the DJ for music, and sending waiters in with toast glasses on the exact minute as her timeline was extremely impressive. Me and my fiancée were so impressed we wanted to be future rockstars and are PROUD to say we have chosen Rock N' Events to coordinate our wedding! I don't even know how to begin. My eyes are seriously tearing up just thinking about how beautiful and amazing my wedding was this past weekend. I live in Atlanta and was looking for a wedding planner to help me plan my wedding in Beverly Hills Ca. I want to say maybe THREE months before my wedding!! I never thought that 3 months would be enough time to plan the wedding of my dreams. I was stressing out a little but then I found JENNY! Omg I looooooveeee her. Jenny and her team are seriously the best. Jenny is just a happy person and that's exactly what I needed. There was no time to stress with her because she took care of everything I needed. She not only was my planner but she was an awesome negotiator with all the vendors she makes sure you get the best at the best price. One more thing I wanted to add is her team. All of them are super helpful. I always had a point of contact and they are on on it. The day of the wedding was just super smooth all I had to to is have fun and enjoy my day I still don't think I covered everything because there is just too much good to say but I guess I can sum it all up by saying they truly are the best and I appreciate them with all my heart. read more

I found out about Rock N' Events through an event they planned for a friend of mine. I was VERY pleased with the outcome and KNEW i had to have them plan my little sisters sweet 16 party!!! The coordinator, Jenny, was very fun to work with and very professional. She really took the time to get to know my sister's interest and personality and was able to transform it all into the perfect event. I'm not even sure this review alone is enough to describe the Amazing service I received from Rock N Events. If you're looking to plan an event, whatever it may be, Jenny Chang and her staff are the people to go to. From the moment my (now) wife and I met Jenny, in the baby stages of all the planning, till the completion of the event (and follow up), Jenny gave us her 110%. She and her staff are very friendly, very creative, hard working,young, lively, energetic, and really do care about your needs. My wife and I came to her with a vision that looked good on paper, but turned out better than what we envisioned when all set in motion. She went over every detail, small and large. She ran communication over with us over everything. She coordinated with the venue, catering, and all our vendors. She even knows how to score major deals. I really had no worries. We were pretty amazed. And the guests from our wedding still remind us of how our wedding may have been the best they'd gone to. We've been recommending Rock N Events to all our friends. Jenny & Jessica are our wedding planners. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have Rock N' Events to plan our wedding. Jenny is a very energetic & lovely person who makes the wedding planning less stressful & fun. She is also knowledgeable about wedding planning & industry. She is honest, so you know you can trust. Because we don't have much budget, Jenny helped us to find vendors who fit our budget but still have high quality of their work. Jessica is our day of coordinator. She is super nice and accountable. She also love craft. Lots of our decoration, including our lovely blush pink photo booth backdrop made by her & her assistants :) We won't be able to have a such beautiful & memorable wedding without Rock N' Events!! My wife and I were so happy that we chose Jenny and the Rock N' Events crew for our wedding. Jenny went above and beyond for us and made every idea we had come to life. We highly recommend them because you will get incredibly personalized service, they will always pick up your call or return your call within minutes (which was very important for us), and the quality of their work is top notch. I know everyone says this, but our wedding looked amazing and we got a ton of compliments. It was all Jenny. I wouldn't take the time to write this review if I didn't feel strongly about this company. read more

Last year my company DJ Kamayo Entertainment did the sound system for a wedding with Rock N Events at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Jenny was the wedding coordinator. She was very quick in responding to all my emails about setting up and what time would be good to load in. She also had a timeline ready for me a week before the wedding. On the day of, I finally got a chance to meet her. I'll be honest, sometimes I deal with coordinators who treat me like a nobody if they've never worked with me before, but not Jenny. She was extremely nice, super positive attitude and treated me like a friend. She was very helpful and courteous and made sure the venue provided everything that I asked for ( a DJ table and linens). 5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH for Rock N' Events. Let me just tell you that our wedding is quite challenging from the start - we only had less than 3 months to prepare everything, we were not sure of the date yet cuz I havent gotten my visa yet at that time and to top it all we had an issue with the venue 3 weeks before the wedding! BUT Jenny - my amazing rockin party girl - with her magic wand made it all happen! Our wedding was intimate like how we want it, emotional, wonderful and enchanting. It wasnt just our wedding, it was also my 40th birthday and a chance for my now husband's family to gather and Rock N' Events made it all possible! Our wedding was last Nov 5, 2017 and was originally set to happen in Napa. Then just a few weeks before, the fires in the area happened. We were hoping and praying that our venue - being a family owned property - wont be affected but we we werent sure. We were in panic - we werent sure if we should go thru with the wedding and if we could. Most of our vendors are based in Napa and are already paid for! Even if we decide to relocate the venue, we werent sure if the vendors would still cater to the event and if not, if we could still get our money back. All those negative thoughts came to us and then we talked to Jenny and boy she made our day! She said: "My loves, your wedding is going to happen in Nov 5. I assure you that. Leave it to me. I'm on it." And sure thing, the next day she came up with not just 1 but 3 different beautiful venues we could choose from! And to add to that, she managed to bring all our vendors from Napa to the new venue at Woodside! This space is not enough for us to tell you all the good things we could say about Jenny, her girls (Bailey dancer and cheerleader Regina) and her company. Jenny is an amazing, young, talented, crazy, sweet person and her vision is just divine. Cheers to Rock N' Events, to more memorable events and relationships for keeps. Rock N Events is exactly what it sounds like! Jenny Chang is a rock star, I love this girl so much! She coordinated/ planned/ designed my wedding and it was amazing, and the best thing about it was that she took the stress off me and my family. She is organized, sweet, creative, and on it!!! You give her some ideas of what you like, and she RUNS with it, and comes back seconds later with a million ways to bring your idea to life. I married my Wife on March 15, 2014. Took nearly 2 years to write my review of Jenny @ Rock N' Events but I'm doing it! Jenny was very professional...I'm still so amazed at how my Wife and I were treated in her hands and work. As the Husband or Guy, my main goal is to remain relaxed and cool throughout the whole wedding process. I've heard stories where Guys were stressed out because they chose to do their own Wedding planning and everything. Well, I'm super freaking glad I was NOT them. Jenny helped me and my Wife by giving us plenty of options as to which vendors to work with, the venue, THE CAKE (my favorite part of the process) and more. I was not stressed, well...only when it came down to working with my parents and In-Laws. But, the whole wedding process went smooth as cake, no pun intended. Rock N Event planned my daughter's wedding. Jenny and her team did an excellent job. They were very professional from the first meeting to the end. As the mother of the bride Jenny made me feel very confident in her ability to create the wedding and reception that my daughter dreamt of. Jenny took time to sit down with me to go over all the details of the wedding and reception. She made sure that she answered all my questions and concerns. I had called Jenny from Rock N' Events to help coordinate a community event sponsored by my real estate team for approximately 800 guests. We had a tight budget to work with and she was able to use the venue to its maximum potential. She had presented creative ideas that were within our budget. On top of that which was in my opinion was what put this company over the top for us was that Jenny had negotiated discounts with all of the vendors for us and was able to get a photographer for the event for free! Jenny and her staff are absolutely amazing! Before our first consultation, I was hesitant about even having a wedding. On that very first day, Jenny said we would become best friends; she was absolutely right! After the consultation, I felt totally excited about my upcoming wedding and I knew I needed to have Jenny by my side. Jenny's excitement is contagious! PERFECTION! One word I would use to describe my and Erik's wedding is perfection, thanks to Alice, Jenny, and the whole RNE team. RNE helped plan not only our incredible wedding, but also our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the day before. Alice and her team were practically with us the entire wedding weekend from 10:30am Saturday morning until 5:00pm Sunday evening. Every time I think about our wedding, I'm brought to tears at how magical it truly was. As with all weddings, there were last minute fire drills, panic attacks, and unexpected changes up until the day of our wedding and Alice handled them with such calm, patience, and determination. Alice and 4-5 of her RNE colleagues were literally our secret service agents on the day of! They made so much happen behind the scenes from ensuring our vendors, favors, wedding signs, flowers, menus, candles, votives, etc. were all properly set up early in the morning; our first look was intimate and romantic; our ceremony started on time; our procession went flawlessly; our cocktail hour/photos transition didn't go for too long; our grand entrance was on cue; that we ate enough food; had enough time for our speeches; and they cleared the floor for dancing! They were constantly communicating with our DJ, photographer, videographer, venue staff, and families to ensure everyone was okay and had what they needed. What a beautiful day! As mentioned in my previous review, Alice, Jenny, and her team were so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. Alice spent so much time coordinating with our venue, vendors, bridal party, families, and meeting with us to ensure that our vision truly came to life - and, wow, it did! Jenny and her RE team did an awesome job helping my husband and I plan the details and day-of events that made our wedding FANTASTIC. We brought Jenny on board a little more than 6 weeks before our wedding and she did not hesitate to start working right away. Even though we only got the "month-of" plan, she made herself readily accessible and available to me via email, text, or phone before the actual 1 month date. Our event was going to be mid-size with a little over 100 guests but we had big ideas and Jenny helped those ideas materialize into a truly awesome event for not only us, but our guests too. We decided to go with a roaring 20's theme for our wedding to match the amazing venue we chose in downtown LA. Jenny helped us to get casino tables, cigarette girls (Follies), an AWESOME Dj, and 1920's props for our tables all within budget and ALL WITHIN THE 1 MONTH we had to plan everything. She has fantastic design ideas and always presented her ideas as supplements to our own. When necessary, she offered constructive criticism in a way that was respectful and well received. One of the most surprising parts of how well everything came together with Jenny and the RE team was the willingness to tackle our flower arrangements and certain decor elements with us. Jenny expressed that certain members of her team were taking floral arranging classes and wanted to share their newly acquired skill with us if we were open to the idea. This was definitely one way that we saved some money (buying wholesale flowers at the market with her girls and purchasing the supplies wholesale as well) but the coolest part was that we got exactly what we envisioned! The flowers weren't run-of-the-mill roses and tulips but rather these awesome vibrant collections of ones I chose from the market and they artfully arranged. The girls even transferred the florals from the ceremony to the tables so as to get double use out of them. Besides the detailed arranging of ALL of our vendors, handling the day-of payments, and managing the flow of events Jenny and her team stayed professional and courteous to all of our guests throughout the night. They were helpful with any questions and stayed available as the party went on. I really enjoyed working with Jenny and the whole RE team that was with us but I cannot stress more how delightfully surprised we were at the many skills they brought to the table. You can go with any planning company and know with confidence that the details of your day will be managed but can any other company surpass your expectations? I doubt it. And I am glad that I don't need to find out. read more

I know it primarily because it is the halfway point on my evening run. I always stop and take a look at the view, which in my opinion is magnificent. In fact the Bird Nest is ALL about the view from the patio. You can see from Marina del Rey, to the West (see photo I posted) and Century City, to the East. The spot is truly inspiration point. The next time you are visiting the LMU campus be sure to take the time to visit the Bird Nest and soak in the view.

O Bird Nest. You'll always be the Bird's Nest to me. For some reason, either right before I…read moregraduated from LMU or right afterward, it became a big deal for people who worked for Student Center Facilities or whatever department to refer to this swingin' remnant of the '70s as Bird Nest rather than Bird's Nest. Whatever. This weird clubhouse-like structure will be familiar to anyone who grew up in the '70s or '80s in California. It seems that every place near a beach or a pool had some wooden building with dark windows, a loft, and a conversation pit. LMU's Bird's Nest, or Bird Nest, is no different. I attended many a campus event here, and all of them were disappointing. OK, that's not exactly true. Many of them were wonderful, but Bird's Nest never really lived up to its '70s hype. The loft was always kind of sad, and the conversation pit, while definitely not sad, just never did the best job of maintaining conversations. I will say, however, that it was cool that during pre-orientation my freshman year they had Dazed and Confused on loop here during a mixer. I didn't really watch the movie, and I actually really didn't enjoy this mixer, but this movie and the feelings I had were very appropriate. The Bird's Nest was much cooler when it had a swimming pool next to it. They took that out either in the late '90s or right around 2000. When I was at LMU, it was a tradition that you were thrown into a body of water on your birthday. Most people got thrown into the Foley Pond, which is scary because it's really really really shallow so if you struggled at all you were likely to get hurt. If you had a nice friends, they would throw you into the Bird's Nest's pool. I was one of the throwers once, and the lead thrower counted 2 twice, so I let go of the girl's arms while he held onto her legs. She wasn't injured, but I felt really bad.

It was like the coolest venue and people would come in with these great ideas and completely decorated and it would look different every single time you'd go to the space I saw that the sign says it is up for rent so it is permanently closed, but the business still throws parties just I think they usually use the Mondrian. UC would throw these epic themed parties... I live in walking distance so I would take a roadie and walk on over and it was always something fun like a Brazilian Samba night they had Coachella Chic, and WWD Fashion Week. I loved getting all dressed up and then you know, taking pictures of the step and repeat and meeting so many different people from all over... it's not the same at the Mondrian first of all I have to get there. I can't just walk to the Mondrian and there's just something about the parties that is just not the same so this event space was amazing. I see it's for rent now. I can't imagine how much it would cost to rent out that space and have it full. At least every other weekend to make your rent. I don't know if any of it is non-for-profit I have no idea but it's gotta be a big chunk of changed to rent that space cause it's a really big space. It goes way back. You can't tell how big it is from looking at it on the street so I will always have my fond memories of this place and hopefully they find a different space to open.

Located off of Jefferson boulevard in Culver City, this place is one of a kind. My first impression was its an art gallery converted to a music venue. While everything else in the area is a beach bar, this is hand down the coolest spot in town. It's often hard to find street parking, so I find it super convenient that they have a valet. The owner Michael is incredibly nice, and from the bouncers to the bartenders I couldn't find a single negative thing to say about their amazing staff. Culver City PD actually runs their security so you feel safe and sound while dancing to top DJs from around the world. I've attended their Rose and Lace parties where they often have aerial acrobatics and beautiful dancers in elaborate costumes. This lace party they actually had the Love Bus with a DJ on top in the back yard. This place never ceases to amaze me.

From the moment we booked, Joe (the owner) and his entire team were unbelievably accommodating, professional, and easy to work with. Their communication was seamless from start to finish, and they made the entire planning process stress-free. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The indoor-outdoor rooftop layout with bi-fold doors, gorgeous lighting, and incredible views created the perfect atmosphere. We hosted 120 guests, but the space can easily accommodate up to 200 people, making it ideal for Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate events, and any private party. One of the biggest advantages of The Palm Sophia is its versatility. We brought in our own vendors, including a kosher caterer, and the staff generously allowed full use of their fully equipped kitchen. They also offer valet parking, onsite security, heaters, and were even willing to tent the outdoor space if the weather turned, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They have tables, chairs, and staff available to help with setup, which saved us so much time and coordination. Every guest commented on how beautiful and unique the venue was -- almost none of them had been there before, and everyone was blown away. This venue is truly a hidden gem in Culver City. I honestly can't believe more people don't know about it. Oh my goodness...another one from me?! LOL YES! My Wife and I threw a 1 Year Birthday party for our Daughter with the help from none other than....DRUM ROLL...BRBRBRBRBR....ROCK N' EVENTS!!!!! Jackie seriously blew our minds away with the level of professionalism and care she provided my Wife and I. The whole process from beginning to end was phenomenal ... I mean come on, they are 5 Star Rated for a reason =] Down to the nitty gritty...the process of finding the best vendors for our party, the best venue (Mr. C), the best photographer (Kevin Le Vu), the best videographer (AndHer), and the best design vendors were all referred to us by Jackie and the Rock N' Events Team which made our lives easier as we did not have the time to look for all of them given our busy work lives (yesssss, having and taking care of a young baby is hard workkkk lmaoooo)! We love Rock N' Events! I am the Development and Programs Associate at Free Arts. Free Arts is a Non-Profit Organization that provides art therapy based programs for youth at risk. Anyway, we had a fundraising event this last Saturday, June 4th and we partnered with Rock N' Events. These ladies are serious ROCKSTARS! We are so pleased with the end result! We hired RockNEvents to do our babyshower and it was absolutely amazing! It was everything me and my husband wanted and we couldn't ask for more. They were able to hire a bunny pen which all the guests enjoyed, and have flower crowns made for all the girls to wear and take pictures with. Catering was very accommodating and served delicious food. Overall we had a wonderful experience with Jenny and her team.
