This place is no longer in existence unfortunately. This place used to be hands-down one of the funnest places to go. I wanna say it has like three different spaces. It was like the coolest venue and people would come in with these great ideas and completely decorated and it would look different every single time you'd go to the space I saw that the sign says it is up for rent so it is permanently closed, but the business still throws parties just I think they usually use the Mondrian. UC would throw these epic themed parties... I live in walking distance so I would take a roadie and walk on over and it was always something fun like a Brazilian Samba night they had Coachella Chic, and WWD Fashion Week. I loved getting all dressed up and then you know, taking pictures of the step and repeat and meeting so many different people from all over... it's not the same at the Mondrian first of all I have to get there. I can't just walk to the Mondrian and there's just something about the parties that is just not the same so this event space was amazing. I see it's for rent now. I can't imagine how much it would cost to rent out that space and have it full. At least every other weekend to make your rent. I don't know if any of it is non-for-profit I have no idea but it's gotta be a big chunk of changed to rent that space cause it's a really big space. It goes way back. You can't tell how big it is from looking at it on the street so I will always have my fond memories of this place and hopefully they find a different space to open. read more

If you ever have the pleasure of attending any of their events, I'd jump at the opportunity. It's all the glitz and glamour of red carpet Hollywood without the headache. Located off of Jefferson boulevard in Culver City, this place is one of a kind. My first impression was its an art gallery converted to a music venue. While everything else in the area is a beach bar, this is hand down the coolest spot in town. It's often hard to find street parking, so I find it super convenient that they have a valet. The owner Michael is incredibly nice, and from the bouncers to the bartenders I couldn't find a single negative thing to say about their amazing staff. Culver City PD actually runs their security so you feel safe and sound while dancing to top DJs from around the world. I've attended their Rose and Lace parties where they often have aerial acrobatics and beautiful dancers in elaborate costumes. This lace party they actually had the Love Bus with a DJ on top in the back yard. This place never ceases to amaze me. read more

If you are lucky enough to be invited to one of their private events - go. Don't look back! the environment is beautiful, gorgeous blown glass, fun artwork, lovely chandeliers, unique and inspired. Graceful, elegant service. The events are unparalleled. I attended an event here a few days after the Emmys and associated events/parties. I would venture to say the entertainment, the contortionists and artists, eclipsed the private entertainment at the Governor's Ball. There were eerie dancers and models perfectly powdered and painted with whimsical costumes; you were led into an alternate world of minxes, fawns, vixens, mermaids, villains and jesters - FABULOUS. read more

I came her for an event back in October. This is most definitely a beautiful space with lots of back rooms and a huge red carpet area and spacious outdoor vicinity. The upstairs was a VIP Dj area off limits to most. Bars were plentiful and fast, could have been more though it was packed. Staff were awesome and got me my bottles quickly I had a great time so it's 5 stars Thanks to the half naked models and countless girls I'll be coming back as soon as I'm invited! read more

LOCATION - Quite an odd location in and industrial/ barren part of Culver City. Parking only seemed available on the street which was very limited and most cars were parked on a dirt lot about 40 yards away....awkward. VENUE - I attended a modern art/fashion show and the venue was very nicely decorated. There is an area to the West of the entrance which had ample room accommodating a "red carpet/photography" area. The entrance was a foyer leading to a HUGE open, modern, space. There was a set of stairs leading to a loft or mezzanine which overlooked the main room. Across from this space was a doorway leading to an outdoor courtyard large enough for the outdoor bar it hosted, and plenty of cocktail tables. Back inside, there was a glass wall separating another room with some modern furnishings. Another doorway adjacent to that room led to a gallery which was monitored by a security hard ensuring no guests entered the room with drinks. Overall I would recommend this venue for a very large group of people. It would definitely accommodate a huge wedding party or large scale event. I wouldn't recommend this venue for a small event of 100 or less since the space is so large the party would feel empty. read more

Went to an non profit fundraiser/casino night event there this week.. Gallery turned into a private event location....Layout has couches and cocktail tables....So its more a club type of layout....Good for mingling....Main room had about 200 people and had 2 Aston Martin cars parked with cocktail tables/couches and 2 food stations/ 2 bars and fit about 8 casino tables....Had an upstairs area as well(Heard event had a poker tournament up in that area before main event) Event made a presentation and information was flashed on wall but wall was too small so left hand side blended into door Believe there is an out side area as well... Only down side is its away from everything ..Took about 10-15 minutes after exiting 405 freeway and valet parking and location was on North side of street so had to come all the way around (Right turn, go intro driveway, and left turn heading west on Jefferson Blvd)... Think it depends how the event uses the space and caterers etc..... Overall 3 stars would not be my first or second choice to have an event at......... Think there are other venues in LA with better layout and better valet parking access . read more

Modern warehouse space. Came here for a party and it was definitely big enough to hold hundreds. The weather was perfect at night, so people were out in the huge court yard. Probably more people outside than inside to be honest. Great ambiance outside with the plants and lights. Only downfall is the small bathroom and very long line. read more

Honestly - great looking venue. I'm not completely enamored with the style, but it's unique and they put everything together well. Can be dressed up (for weddings) or dressed down (for shows). It's in a nice location right off of the Blair Hills of Culver City, and it's kind of hidden - this adds to the air of exclusivity that the venue, but once you're inside it's all fun and happiness. The outside area is a little narrow when the place gets packed, and the bar lines tend to queue enormously. Parking is also extremely tough, but that's why they have valet (and uber). In short, despite its flaws, it earns the five stars because of it's unique-ness and the obvious care they put into making this a high-quality venue. read more

I fancy myself a bit of a art gallery connoisseur.....and this GEM stands out in the hidden world of Culver City production and business buildings. The parking is a little tricky to find on right narrow side of the building, however, once you enter, you truly portal into a different world. The concept is not only artwork, its chandeliers, lamps, vases, and figures on display and for sale. The owner and most of the clients happen to be Italian, so events are very upscale and sponsored by companies such as Maserati and Ferrari. They have a great use of space and the events they put on once a month feature high profile, invite-only guest lits, and servers who break into dance/performance abruptly and fascinate the crowd. Came here for the Cedar Sinai Medical Center holiday party a few weeks ago. What an amazing location! Fantastic for a group of 100+. The Dj was set in the higher floor overlooking the main floor. Also enjoyed the art gallery through the place. Great place for dancing. read more

I visited the UNICI CASA event space on Wednesday, October 28th for a business function. GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION! The staff and management are energetic, young, friendly guys, and you can tell right away that they understand the importance of stellar CUSTOMER SERVICE. The owner (Michael?) is very nice, outgoing, and has a high attention for getting the details exactly right for his clients. Also, every single employee that I encountered for the whole night was very friendly and professional. They really want to make you feel special and comfortable. The atmosphere and decor are really original and interesting. They have numerous pieces of art displayed throughout the building (sculptures, pottery, paintings, etc.) Their sound system is state-of-the-art, their bar is well-stocked and neat, and the lighting is custom arranged specifically to highlight the unique architecture and floor plan of the building. Overall, I would best describe this place as a large, multi-purpose art gallery almost, with a full bar and many other great amenities. THINGS TO CONSIDER (Pluses and Minuses) Many event spaces have floor plans that are set up in a "big box" format, meaning a large open space with fairly high ceilings, etc. Although this is considered plain and standard, and there are important, logical reasons for this. This venue has many immovable objects, such as dividing walls, a long, island structure right down the center, etc. This makes the place very UNIQUE and memorable, but also limits the types of functions that can be held there, somewhat. There's no place to set up round table seating for a larger group, or even to deploy a large dance floor, if desired. Also, even with valet parking, the layout for the plot of land itself could make things complicated for large events. (Not their fault, but that's the way it is.) I didn't get to see the upstairs part of the building at all, so I can't provide any comments about it. UNICI CASA is a fantastic, awesome location for almost any type of get together that has a young fan base, and for certain (but not all) corporate events as well. They understand how important it is to provide an EXCELLENT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. read more

I just experienced the most horrible night of my life tonight. It is so unfortunate that I have to write this review because this place truly has the potential to be one of the best venues in Los Angeles. So why 1 star? This terrible manager was giving every single guest attitude tonight. Literally everyone. I saw her ruining everyones night and this boiled my blood. Especially because this lady was on the dance floor dancing all night. Like who the hell are you? Get off the dance floor you stupid "manager" and go do your damn job. I will personally make it my life mission to get this lady fired for ruining my night. The disrespect she gave everyone is unforgivable. Great venue and amazing events. I attended the Los Angeles Confidential Magazine event at Unici Casa, even though I was hesitant about going. I went because of how beautiful the space was online. Easy 20 minute drive from Hollywood, convenient valet, great catering, bar, and staff. I was introduced to the owner of the space, Michael, and the Director of Marketing, Luca, who were both very welcoming and attentive. I am really happy I attended and am looking forward to the next event hosted at this incredible venue! read more

I know vendors are brought in so the venue isn't always responsible for the details. However, the furniture and wide open layout makes for a nice slate to work with. read more

I went for the James Murphy pop up concert and we had an amazing time. The decor and atmosphere of this place was awesome! I would definitely recommend hosting an event here. The only downsides were parking and it was fairly hot and muggy inside. The place didn't seem well ventilated. read more

ZERO STARS! Went to the Couture du Couture Fashion show last night...Went in expecting it to be very professional. Real thing: it was too packed. There was no room to move. The actual show was 1 hour late - unprofessional. Be considerate of guests who have made time to watch the show! Time is of essence. Also, the drinks were not made well...the servers were unprofessional, drinking on the job. I know the owner Michael Foroutan, Fashion Director Luke Fun & others involved with Society UNICI. Also I have attended past shows. I've been disappointed before by their unprofessionalism, but decided to give Society UNICI another chance. I suggested some of the models last night. One of the models had left her bag and belongings with security, never to get it back...the security was beyond unprofessional & disrespectful. WOULD NEVER GO BACK! Not recommend to others! I went to Unici Casa for a Charity Event ( LAPD-PAL) recently. The venue is beautiful and unique, cocktail hour was ok with a bar in the front and back of the room, as it got later the space became hot, overcrowded and a bit hard to move around. Once in the dinning / event area, which was also a fantastic looking room, service fell apart. Waited 2 hours to get a lick of food. 300+ people sent to a buffet line that was one sided with about 9 plates to choose from; every plate was empty when we reached it, except one and it had literally 4 pieces of chicken left. I felt sorry for the 20+ people behind me waiting to in line. Later on the 3rd hour they brought around appetizer of about 1/2 cup of salad in a small brown ( Chinese food type) to go container.They ended up serving one plate of food on disposable plate to a table of 10 with no forks/ knifes. We started flipping coins for the food... no lie. Food started to appear at random, only it was appetizers ( Won tons and pork bun). I was served one pork bun and a to go cup of salad all night. Results Matter and it was a tragic fail, regardless of how pretty it was. read more

I hosted an event there a couple of months ago and it was INCREDIBLE !! the staff was really helpful and open, they have helped me create a magical event with an outdoor space with games for children and a luxurious sitting dinner inside for the adults. I was even able to chose the furniture that i wanted knowing that they already have some beautiful pieces (some gorgeous chandeliers for e.g). They have a great audio/visual installation and i was able to project on most of the walls a photomontage and a video that i have made. Unanimously my guests had a great time there and were impressed by everything we did. !!! I will definitely call them back if i need to host another event ! read more
