He talked over me, was very condescending every time I would ask a simple question such as general lifespan / quality / brands of doorknobs. He made it all about money & installation instead of answering my questions. I understand there are a lot of options, but he was impatient and made it seem like questioning him was unacceptable. I'm sorry but if I'm paying over $100 for 2 AVERAGE doorknobs (because that's what he quoted for 2 medium quality doorknobs) I'd like to be able to know a little about them instead of accepting someone's word as law. He had me almost in tears by the time I got off the phone because I was trying to stay polite and he kept interrupting me and saying "I don't know what you want!! And I won't come out before Christmas!" I will never trust a locksmith that won't help you understand your options.

I wasn't sure what the vents all around my fireplace were about, the fireplace inspection before I bought the house didn't mention them (or that they were part of the fan system that was broken), and the 2nd guy that came out to fix part of the bricks didn't know what they were about. But when I called Southwest Sweepers the woman who got back to me easily told me that they were vents that helped circulate the warm fireplace air into the house, and Curtis was able to find a new fan to replace my broken one, and install the light switch to turn it on & off. I'm all set to heat my house if the power goes out now!

Another person walked in and he stopped talking with the original customer, by passed me and went right to him. I took this as my cue tht they didn't need my business. Might be the greatest stuff around but customer service goes a long way. Understand waiting my turn and tht was fine until the other customer walked in. It was Friday mid afternoon so tht might have had something to do with it.

We called around to a few places and we chose clean and dry because they had great reviews, we wanted to support a local business, and they offered a military discount. Even with the discount, they were a little more than some of their competitors, but based on everything else we decided to give them a chance. I called and got a quote from Kathy (who is extremely nice and helpful). When I called back to schedule, there was some confusion on the original quote not including a hallway we had discussed so she said she would include the hallway at no cost. The owner, Stacy, showed up to our home, and as we were doing the walkthrough I mentioned the hallway and confusion. He said that he heard the phone calls, agreed they were confusing, and said it's normally 30 for the hallway but he would do it for free if we wanted him to. I agreed since that was what we were quoted, and he said, "You know what, I don't want to do any of it." When I asked what he meant, he said he doesn't work for free and said he was leaving. I was confused since he offered to do it for free, but he walked out. I don't know if he was in a bad mood already, but that is terrible customer service and he was extremely rude to my wife and I. There were so many other ways to handle the situation. My wife and I had moved all of our stuff out of the rooms and had our kids sleep downstairs so he would have plenty of room to work and since we wouldn't be able to access the rooms until they dried. Had he tried to talk to me about it we probably could have up with a solution, but he refused to do anything at that point. I called Kathy back and she said she would try to figure out what was going on, but I never heard anything back. I would recommend finding someone else to clean your carpets.
