Blu Crystal is AMAZING!…read more Not only was I immediately welcomed and introduced to one of the workers there, Lovely Linda (as I will now refer to her), but she and I had a wonderful conversation about Gainesville's crystal shops and local businesses and our own personal practices. She answered all of my questions without being condescending like other places can be, and treated me with respect, which is something I commonly don't receive right away at other establishments (age, appearance, piercings, etc.). They had a fantastic supply of herbs, crystals, incense, talismans, oils, and even clothes, tarot decks, jewelry, etc. The herbs in particular were of an impressive variety compared to other stores around town, are sold are in multiple sizes to suit however much you may need. I was accidentally charged twice for an obsidian bracelet and rang the store back to figure out a refund, and Lovely Linda immediately met my needs over the phone so that I didn't have to go back in. She was very patient and understanding throughout the short process. The crystals specifically tend to run a little expensive, but I think that it's more than worth the price to keep this business going so that other people may find what they are looking for as well. I will be a very frequent customer from now on! (And for those interested, the store also has a Tarot reader on hand-- I think-- every day, if not, very often.)

I have never had issues in Gainesville with my seeing-eye dog entering any local establishment, from places as banal as Publix, post offices, and other restaurants (fastfood to gourmet) to institutions as formal and manicured as the Harn Museum of Art, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, the Phillips Center of the Performing Arts, Smather's Library West, and the University of Florida Auditorium. Talking Walls ridiculously claimed they have "valuable works of art" and could not allow the dog to enter; Talking Walls of Gainesville must have some art the Getty Museum would envy, seeing that even the Getty in LA allows Fyshstyx to enter. The owner (or potentially worker) of Talking Walls had no basis to bar my entry, especially since 1) I AM ALLOWED BY LAW, 2) Fyshstyx was behaving perfectly, and 3) I explained the Americans with Disabilities Act laws under Title II and III that disallow a prohibition of necessary, trained, mobility assistance service animals from publicly accessible places of business (see more info on these laws below). The owners still would not let me enter their stores. I have filed a complaint with our local City of Gainesville Office of Equity & Inclusion and the Florida Division of Blind Services. I don't know if any Gainesvillians frequent this establishment, but know that they ardently wish to flout ADA regulations and disallow entry to the handicapped even when presented with the Federal legal codes. The bush from Angel Gardens Was in pristine Condition all 8 branches had been pruned clean and at perfect angles, each branch was thick yet green and healthy its full length, and the roots were in perfect health. I planted it the very next day after receiving and within 5 days the first sprout had appeared by the 8th(Yesterday) day all 8 branches had new healthy sprout growth. I could not be more pleased!!! The other bush from a different nursery found on amazon gave me a great reference point, the branches were mostly flat cut one looked like it was partly chewed off. 5 stems 2 with some green at the base but mostly woody and dead for several inches from the cut. The bush is alive but has no growth yet and it was received several days prior it will live but it was a sad sight Compared to the obvious expertise and loving care the other Mister Lincon had received from Pamala at Angel Gardens.
