This company started sending me a bill out of the blue even though I have been at my current address over 3 years and never signed up for service. When I called customer service I was hung up on. My landlord has an account already and pays for the property I rent and now all of a sudden they are billing me too. They need better management. Irresponsible drivers. Management covers for their sloppiness. If they pick up your garbage consider yourself lucky. Worst company ever.

They don't completely empty cans if at all. If you call and complain all you get is excuses.

So we moved into a rental property with both garbage and recycle cans full. We called and got the garbage set up and had the cans out on the days we were told. They came and got the recycling can, but skipped my house when it came to the garbage can. Now we have a can that's overflowing and can't add anything to it. We have nowhere to put our garbage because the previous tenants didn't take care of it, and to top it off we got skipped. Wanted to comment on special service from our recycling man in Rockford, IL truck #30449. After emptying the recycling bins in our cul-de-sac, the driver noticed papers scattered about the area. Failed to pick up my garbage on three separate occasions. After calling to complain about this the third time, I was informed that a truck would come and pick up my garbage by the end of the day however this never happened. Of course this was promised on a Friday and the office was closed on the weekend so there was no one to call again regarding this. Considering that this is not a free service, it is very frustrating that this is a continued problem however I am still being charged for poor service. read more

These guys do such a great job. Our pickup team is always friendly and does a fantastic job. There is never trash dropped and they always take care with the bins whether it be the trash, recycle, or yard waste. We love our pickup team. read more

I live in Loves Park and had my leaves blown to the curb Nov. 15, thinking that would be plenty of time for Rock River Disposal to vacuum them up. Well, today is Dec. 7 and the leaves are still out there at the curb. I called and they told me they won't puckthem up now because they are done for the year with lawn waste, that now it is my problem to take care of the leaves, although I had them to the curb plenty early before they were done with yard waste. I faithfully pay my bill from Rock River Disposal and this is how they treat me!!! Not fair at all!!! read more

This company already sucks at pickups. They miss my recycling at least once every few weeks and now I'm told they refuse to pick up our waste because it is icy. This is the Midwest. During winter. Am I missing something? Horrible company. Don't bother calling. Worst customer service people with very little actual knowledge only what they are told to respond with from a typed response sheet. We CONTINUE to experience weeks when our garbage or recycling is not picked up. We pay our bill every month on-time yet the garbage and/or recycling cans are still sitting there when I return home from work in the evening. The most recent episode has lasted 2 consecutive weeks with no pick-up. The garbage continues to PILE up. I called to complain AGAIN today and they said that I should move the garbage cans to the street instead of the alley - in the 12 years I have lived at this address, we have NEVER had to do this. Always has been an alleyway pick-up. Today's complaint was answered with "the garbage truck must not be able to get down the alleyway". Were they going to inform me of that??? I am not a mind reader. Very poor communication (or lack thereof) on their part. Looks like we'll be staring at 3 weeks worth of garbage this time around... Very disappointed. read more

Charging customer for the services they didn't performed , stay away from them if you can

Live in county so don't have the luxury of pickup services city receives. We can't set out anything and everything the city can. That said, I can't complain about services. My pickups are never missed, drivers are always curtious and friendly and don't leave any mess. When I see some of the pickups on curbs in the city I can imagine it is overwhelming for drivers sometimes. City customers should be thankful for services they receive read more
