We also often hang around the boat slips when we're in town to fish and their staff treat us like treasured guests even when we're not doing business with them - they always greet us, engage and go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The boats of course are wonderful as well - we have rented twice and both times the boats were clean enough to be brand new, easy to operate and offered the latest tech (it's easier to connect my phone to their Bluetooth speakers than it is to connect it to my own car!). I've used four different marinas on the chain…read morefor service over the past 18 years, and this Marina stands out for the friendliness, professionalism, honesty, and great work. Light House Marina, a family business, will get my business in the future. Todd, the owner and chief mechanic was thorough and explained in detail all that needed to be done, including some custom body work, and mechanicals. They also sell valvetech gas, which has the additives in it for extended fuel life. The cost for parts was spot on with what I could purchase on my own, which I appreciate the minimal markup, if any. I got very lucky, and they were able to get me in the same day for the mechanicals, and done quickly. The price for labor seemed reasonable to me, as my work required two people. They were also able to accommodate me bringing the boat in off the water, and on to one of their trailers for the work. Just a really nice experience all the way around. And sadly, there are some bad marinas on the chain. Thank you to Todd Scott and Dick.

North Point Marina has plenty of places for putting a boat, but it's more than that. Also there's entertainment. There's things like banquets and live music. Came here the last time, and went to the beer garden. It has Harbor beers on tap. There's also cocktails, so you can get whatever. It's about $9 for a cocktail. The Harbor Lagoon is a good one. Could say it's a deceptively strong one, plus it's pretty cool looking. This is made with Blue Curacao, Long Island Mix, orange juice, pineapple juice, and Sprite. Also got some of the Knotty Pretzels, good with beer. There's not much in the way of food, but you can bring something to eat on the patio for sure. Have some good drinks and fun while boating. It's also close to a pretty cool nature preserve. This also has live music in the summer on weekends.
